1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1216].

2. Now, as we find, there are many disturbing factors in the physical forces of the body. Yet as we find these arise primarily from one source. Yet the reactions through the system come in different ways owing to the very nature of those disturbances, as well as the manner in which the functioning through some factors or conditions exists with the physical body as a body.

3. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1216] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. In the blood supply there are the indications of what as we find is the primary cause - a disturbance in the gland functioning of the body; as there has been, as there comes in the present a distortion owing to those flows from certain glandular secretions not finding their proper reaction through the system. And thus they form in the various portions of assimilating and distributing system the disturbing factors. This is indicated by the manner in which coagulation takes place as related to tissue involved in its activity. Not that we find what would ordinarily be called strep or this or that factor in the blood stream, yet these DO exist at times. For we find the pulsation varies at times. We find there is the tendency for the temperature to vary at times. The metabolism of the system becomes disturbed, and is disturbed; the katabolism also as related to distribution of assimilated forces. In THESE factors, as through the glands of the thyroid, the adrenal, the thymus, the glands in the factors of assimilation in liver, there are shown periods when there are excesses and others when there is a strain upon the system in their attempting to be eliminated or these secretions taken care of as they are thrown into the blood stream at its activity.

5. Hence we find in the nervous system, through the coordination between the sympathetic or vegetative and the

1216-1 Page 2

cerebrospinal, there are those tendencies that have long existed as to making for their coordination in the strengthening of muscular forces, see? As we have had here through the activity in the mammary glands, where pressure, irritation, produced a hardening or a localization, and thus brought inflammation. The removal of same has NOT removed the secretions as arise. Hence we have a reaction that makes for the throwing of same into the circulatory system through those factors through which secretions continue to be thrown that produce for a digestive force or fluid in the assimilation of food values for the body.

6. With these secretions, with this lack of stamina as it were in the coordination between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic systems, we find the cardiac plexus, the secondary cardiac plexus, the activity to the trachea as related to the thorax and the lower portion of the esophagus and the activity to the stomach position itself, from old conditions existing, tend to make for a contraction there; that comes more from a nervous condition than from physical condition of dipping of stomach exists at the time, see?

7. Then we will find the contraction such that through the pylorus, through the lower portion of the duodenum, through the upper portion of the jejunum, the setting up of these excesses makes for that which becomes as an inflammatory condition to the mucus membranes through the digestive forces of the intestinal system. These produce a great deal of mucus at times through the abdominal area, or in the colon itself; especially in the ascending and a portion of the transverse colon. These tend to make for dilation, these tend to make for accumulations of gas - of that NATURE as would arise from this natural nervous reaction in the incoordination between sympathetic and cerebrospinal.

8. In the functioning of the organs as related to these, we find:

9. At times when this excess is thrown into the circulation, that may be effected by the cycle of activity to those that may be below the solar plexus area, we have then this bearing DOWN as it were through the pelvic organs, those conditions through the activity of the system in its attempting to create a balance. And the body feels as if bloated throughout the pelvic system, a fullness even to the feet and ankles at times. At others we may find a fullness that will appear at the cardiac portion of the stomach itself, and just through the area below the sternum; and through the shoulders and through the head and neck will be almost in a REVERSE of those conditions as of contraction, though full in the feelings for the body.

1216-1 Page 3

10. These are the attempts of the system then to adjust itself.

11. As we find, then, if there is the ability for the system's reaction to influences or forces to create a balance in the secretions through the activity of the glandular forces, the making for a coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal as specifically in those areas from the upper dorsal to - or the upper portion of the 9th dorsal to the base of the brain, coordinating the lumbar axis with the locomotary forces, creating a balance through the system, then we may expect and we should have in this body a much nearer normal condition; more vitality, more activity, and many years of a very useful service.

12. As we would find, in meeting these, there needs to be those considerations given to the elemental activity of the glandular forces.

13. We may aid these the better, we find, through the use of the low electrical forces as would carry to the SYSTEM elements that act WITH the succulence of the glandular system itself, see? supplying those elements in an atomic manner that there may be carried to ALL of the glandular system a coordinating influence.

14. Necessary, to be sure, that centers from which impulses arise to all of the body, especially to the digestive forces, to the eliminating forces, be treated so that the impulses are distributed; by keeping an equal balance through manipulative measures osteopathically from the 9th dorsal to the base of the brain, coordinating the lumbar axis as indicated during those periods when these changes are taking place.

15. These activities as we find would be of a three-way action of elements for the body, or one used one day and one the next day and the other the next day. These elements as we find would be through the Wet Cell Appliance carrying Chloride of Gold one day (one grain to one ounce of distilled water), the Spirits of Camphor the next day (commercial strength), and the atomic iodine - that is, Atomidine (commercial strength) the next day.

16. Each of these would be applied to those areas from which the activities to the system become the greater active principle with the glandular forces from that portion of the body, see?

17. Hence the attachments would be made in this way and manner:

18. The first day, the small copper plate would be attached first, to the 4th lumbar axis or center; while the larger plate through which the Gold Solution would pass would be

1216-1 Page 4

attached last, to the lacteal duct and umbilicus and gall duct center, so that the vibrations of these properties work with the glandular forces through the assimilating system AS makes for its connection or direction with the glandular forces in the pelvic system, as well as to the cerebrospinal in the cords along either side of the spine itself.

19. The next day, attach the small copper plate first, to the secondary cardiac plexus center, or between the 2nd and 3rd dorsal plexus, or at that plexus; while the larger plate through which the Spirits of Camphor Solution passes (which should be used on the day between the other properties, you see) would be attached last, to the area almost directly OVER the gall duct area, or the liver area there, see?

20. The next day the small plate would be attached first to the 2nd and 3rd cervical; while the larger plate through which the Atomidine solution would pass would be attached last, to the lacteal duct center or the large duct center in the lacteal duct area - that's four fingers from the umbilicus plexus to the right, just below the gall duct area.

21. The manipulative forces should be to stimulate not ONLY contracting the forces in the upper cervical and dorsal but should be through the distribution or relaxing so that drainages are set up properly.

22. When necessary use irrigations of the colon area for cleansing to remove those tendencies for mucus accumulation.

23. Well that for the stomach itself there be used the support as WELL as the relaxing in the lower portion of the secondary cardiac area.

24. We find it would be well in the massages for the body itself to use a combination of equal parts Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh (heating the oil to add the myrrh); especially across the upper portion of the stomach and the lower portion of the cerebrospinal system. These in the very nature to the superficial circulation supplies strength, stamina, and gives the circulation the proper distribution.

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) How long at a time should the Appliance be used? (A) In each instance twenty minutes should be sufficient. Keep the plates cleansed, but keeping the solutions pure; that is, do not change the anodes through the solutions, see? Same anodes may be used but different solutions for same.

27. (Q) Is it best to have foot of bed raised? (A) This is beneficial at most times, but we would not keep this continually - for we will tend to create the abnormal

1216-1 Page 5

balance for the head and neck muscular forces, as is understood.

28. (Q) Please outline diet. (A) Diet is necessary. The body is a very good dietician. Better to TRY these conditions with the body, for we will find with the use of the properties as indicated in the system, and the activation to the glandular system, there will be at times appearing the inordinate desire for certain foods - and these will be because of lack of elements that these foods may supply. Hence we will find during these periods and following same, it will be well to alter these, finding that which combines best. It isn't so much the foods as the COMBINATIONS that cause disturbances. REST - or it may be well set as this: After the breakfast work a while, after the noon meal rest a while, after the evening meal walk a while.

29. (Q) Is Luminal best to relieve pyloric spasm? (A) Luminal is preferable to any of the sedatives, for it is more - of course - of a hypnotic, and is preferable. But if these properties as indicated are used, remember - as will be seen through the activity of the Gold in the system - it will become less and less necessary as the support is used and there are those activities for the system progressing. Recharge the Appliance, of course, every thirty-one or thirty-two days. But this used for three or four months, we should find a great change in the body.

30. (Q) Is plain thyroid best or that mixed with ovarian extract? (A) That mixed with the ovarian, and this - too - will be found to be less and less necessary as those properties indicated act upon the glands of the body. For as seen, the Chloride of Gold is to act upon the glands; the Camphor relieves that tendency for the inflammation to form in the hemoglobin in the blood, and produces an activity upon the vibrations or the hormones in the blood, and produce an activity upon the vibrations or the hormones in the blood itself so that the white blood, the red blood cellular forces are more exact and thus carry the strength as is MAINTAINED in the system so that eliminations are better; while the Atomidine acts upon the thyroid, the thymus, and is cleansing for the gall duct secretions' activity in the liver - not the duct or gland itself but the liver secretions, see? the ATOMIC forces of these; that is, the vibratory forces of these properties - not taken into the system direct.

31. (Q) Is this the trouble with my eyes too?

1216-1 Page 6

(A) The general glow, as it were, of inflammatory condition naturally acts upon the lymph or emunctory flow - which through the sensory forces has a reaction to the auditory, to the eye, to the throat, to the general feelings and also - as the body will notice if it will take the precautions - in how it changes taste at times. But as these balances are kept or made and produced by these elements, we will find all of these being helped.

32. (Q) How may I be of more service to my patients, and human beings in general? (A) This may not sound just right, or at first when it is considered it may sound as of a selfish approach; but when it is considered from the abilities and the activities, it will be seen to be best. For, as is ever given in spiritual activity, first the individual, then the group, etc. So, first the service is to self or in self, that there is made a better flow of the coordinating activities of life and vitality in itself; thus better fitting the body for a service to the patient and to those of mankind in general. Then, as has so oft been given by Him, do what thy hand finds to do TODAY! Don't worry about what's past, don't worry about what is to come, but TODAY! For sufficient unto today is the good as well as the evil, and as we apply ourselves in an activity we will find greater opportunities and a greater service to all.

33. (Q) Should I go into some other kind of work in order to get well? (A) We should not find it so. While the requirements in aid to others are great, or others make demands; HOLD to those forces as has been given, and we will find the use of these to be most helpful and helpful in giving the influence to others.

34. (Q) Does this longing in my heart for a home and children and someone to be interested in me, affect my health? (A) These do not AFFECT the health; rather they keep the body as it were on EDGE. And this at times makes for anxieties that become contributory. But as the activities of the body, as the general health of the body shows a general improvement, and there is the giving of self in service to others, these may YET come about.

35. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) Do these things, be consistent, watch the effect of these in the system; carry on - it is well.
