Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1236], present in this room.

2. Now, as we find, while the body is very good in many respects, there are disturbances and conditions the corrections of which in the present will prevent a great deal of disturbance later on, and remove those causes of disorder and anxiety in the physical forces of the body.

3. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1236] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. First, IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there is a tendency for acidity throughout the system, and this tends to make for a slowing of the circulation through the extremities. And unless changes ARE wrought it will eventually make for greater distresses in some portions of the body, as will be indicated.

5. This also makes for a slowing up of the coordination between the upper and the lower hepatic circulation. Hence there are times when through the kidneys and the activity of the bladder there is a little irritation that occurs. At others we find tendencies for the area through the liver to be full, or the feeling or consciousness of an activity through that portion of the system.

6. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, here we find a cause, also a distress. For there has been in the cerebrospinal system, especially in the sacral and the lower lumbar, a strain - as well as in the shoulders, arms and in the lower limbs, especially through that area from the ankle to the knee, on BOTH limbs yet more on the left than on the other.

7. These are then areas where, with this combination of the disturbance in the circulatory forces from acidity and the disturbing forces through the irritation produced by the stretching of the muscular forces, the ends on the tendons and the nerve ends there become as it were more subject to the circulatory forces. Thus they do not heal as readily or

1236-1 Page 2

as fast as they should. For these make for then coagulations that become not full with the leucocyte activity. Thus we find unless corrections are made the body will become more and more subject to atmospheric reactions, or the affectations of acidity through the system, or that commonly called a rheumatic reaction. Or these may turn into those activities from those pressures in the lumbar area, without their proper adjustment and correction, as to become neurotic or neuritic reacting to the body - through the shoulders or through the arms or through the limbs, even to any portions of the body. For this is, as has oft been indicated, an INDICATION (neuritis) and NOT a disease or disorder in itself; it is the EFFECT of those disturbances. And here affecting the nervous system AS it has would become more acute, especially in the joints of the body.

8. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, the activity through the brain forces is very good.

9. The sensory organism we find at times showing tendencies for the poor circulation as for the eyes, the ears, the throat; so that these become disturbed by cold when apparently there is little or no cold in the body, a little irritation to the eyes, a little disturbance to the hearing, a fullness in the throat. These are because of pressures as well as the general unbalanced condition in the circulatory forces of the body itself.

10. In the throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx, these we find all are very good, considering the disturbance under which the respiratory system reacts. No ORGANIC disturbance; sympathetic and the nerve forces of the body. These at times produce some disturbance or a fullness or a heaviness just above the pit of the stomach, through the lower portion or between the upper lobes of the lungs themselves.

11. In the heart's activity, with a disturbed force in the nervous system, the body at times becomes aware of the pulsation - though ORGANICALLY we find no disturbance. For the circulation between the lung, the heart and the liver is near normal, as is the pressure - though this alters according to the nervous reactions in the system.

12. The digestive forces of the body are very good save when there are those conditions in the nervous forces of the body and from the activity of the acidity. This produces in the gall duct area a disturbance in the hepatic circulation, thus we find an upsetting in the digestion. Or food appears to react improperly, not digesting nominally, or making for periods when it becomes soured as it were after having left the stomach proper; making then for a disturbance through the gastrointestinal reaction.

1236-1 Page 3

13. In the liver and the hepatic circulation, nominally or organically these are very good. Functionally these become disturbed through this superacidity.

14. AS WE WOULD FIND, THEN, IN MEETING THE NEEDS OF THESE CONDITIONS:

15. First there would be the warning as respecting the diet. Do not make self become as one so subject to a diet that it can't eat what it desires. But beware of these as combinations: No fried foods at any time. These are disturbing to the circulation, and the tendencies for superacidity. Do not combine citrus fruit juices with cereals. Do not have too great a quantity of potatoes, rice, spaghetti or white bread all at one meal, but for THIS body let these be used with the proteins or meats. These as we find with sweets also will be better with this body. But do not have too large quantities of these, or we would combine same in this manner: Have one vegetable below the ground to two or three above the ground, and one of leafy to two of bulbular or pod. Coffee, tea, milk - do not combine milk with tea or coffee; these make for an acidity, and especially are hard on the digestive forces where acid is superactive in the system from the general disturbances.

16. In the corrections of the spinal system, and the limbs - while the food values will aid - we would find a strengthening of these may be had now by not so much the corrections or adjustments as the MASSAGE properly given (and this may be done at home!); for the alignments are very good save in the 4th lumbar, and this with the massage - if properly given - would be helped more than by having the corrections made and waiting for the adjustments through the extremities, see? For such a massage we would prepare a compound in this manner to be used:

17. To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil as the base, add - in the order named: Pure Olive Oil........................1 ounce, Witchhazel............................1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood.....................1 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin..........1 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen....................1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root...............1/2 ounce. These will tend to separate, but before use shake well together, pour a small quantity in an open container. With the body lying upon the face, begin at the neck or at the 3rd and 4th cervical. Begin with a circular motion on either side of the spinal column, short circular motions,

1236-1 Page 4

rubbing DOWNWARD all the way, see? Massage all the body will absorb of this solution. At the 4th lumbar, or where there is the axis of the spinal column to the sacral area, we would massage this both sideways AND circular. We would extend also down to the feet, under the lower portion and especially around the knees, under the knees and in the FEET - be careful that these are to the soles of the feet, around the heel and to the toes - all the body will absorb. Do this about three times each week.

18. Following such a rub we would use the electrically driven vibrator, the cup applicator; not in a circular motion as the rub but as a pressing down - gradually lifting, CUPPING, as it may be termed, just across the axis of the lumbar and across the whole of the sacral.

19. Occasionally we would take internally the Citrocarbonate. At least once a day drink a good glass of this; teaspoonful to a glass. Preferably Upjohn's, as we find. Take this AFTER the evening meal, would be preferable.

20. Doing these, being careful of the diets and the general activities of the system kept, we will find we will make for corrections for this body and it will be almost as new.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) Please give the conditions and cure for the trouble in the left leg? (A) As indicated, it was a wrenching of the nerve end or of the MUSCULAR end and the TENDON. And this THROUGH the acidity in the system has NOT recuperated. With reducing the acidity, with using the stimulant as indicated, we will find these conditions will disappear. When this is massaged as indicated, especially under the knees but AROUND the knee, so that the kneecap and the muscular forces and the bursa under same absorb much of that, we will find a better reaction. For all of these are penetrating, inter-penetrating oils and HEALING with same. And these are of the elements as combined in the fluids of the body itself. Hence with these corrections, these are so much BETTER than medications taken internally.

23. (Q) In what minerals is the body lacking and how may they be supplied? (A) These may be named as various numbers or names, but if the diet is followed as has been indicated and the acidity reduced, we will find all the mineral salts of the body becoming more and more perfectly balanced. There is a very good balance between the MAIN minerals, which are - of course - the iodine and the potassiums, or potash and

1236-1 Page 5

iodine. These are very well balanced, though some of the elements as a portion in calcium are changed a great deal. The mineral salts as in the sodium calcium, these make for the better through the vegetable forces as indicated.

24. (Q) Does this body have hemorrhoids? (A) This body has deep internal hemorrhoids. The use of Tim with the local injection would be helpful. The massages will be MOST beneficial, and ESPECIALLY with this watching of the diet and the use of the Citrocarbonate for acidity.

25. (Q) What is the cause and cure for the itching of the feet? (A) This has been given as specific, that the extensions from the 4th lumbar or the axis are to be given specific treatment in a manner in which the corrections are made to the nerve forces of the feet themselves, or to the lower extremities, and the supplying through the massage to the bursa of the feet, in the heels, under the bottoms of the feet; and we will find all of these conditions disappearing. Because it feels so much better after about three or four, don't quit! Keep it up until the system feels real, REAL well-balanced; or have it for periods of three weeks, a rest period of a week, and then take another period of three weeks; and we will find it will make a great deal of change with this body. Not only will it be most helpful to the disturbance that occurs at times in the digestive forces but the vision, the hearing, the feelings throughout the whole of the body, ALL will be corrected or changed by these conditions.

26. (Q) Is this body getting sufficient rest? (A) The body gets sufficient rest if it didn't worry! Worry is harder on the body than the lack of rest. But if we will have these massages, we will gain more rest.

27. (Q) How many red blood cells should a healthy, normal body have? (A) Depends upon the weight and upon the age of the body. If we are to judge from this body here, there should be in this one about fifty-five million red blood cells. There's a few lacking at some times in this one, but as indicated these are very good - but many turn through their disturbance in the circulatory forces at times from acidity.

28. (Q) Any spiritual advice for the body at this time? (A) As the body recuperates or makes for corrections, let it not only be good but be good for something - this would make for a different outlook and attitude towards everything. Purpose and purposefulness, desires and desires with purposefulness in the mental attitudes will make for not only being just good but directed good.

29. We are through for the present.
