Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Washington, D.C. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1242].

2. As we find, while conditions have shown some improvement, still these are very serious conditions to be dealt with. Still there may be hopeful influences in meeting the conditions, while these still remain much in the manner as has been indicated that these were alleviations rather than curatives and will necessitate changes from time to time until conditions arise where those disturbances break tissue.

3. Improvements have existed. Tendency for the loss of appetite and weight, owing to the stiffness in throat and neck.

4. As we find, we would use these in the present. Not leaving off either the spray or the Ash [Ash always followed by the violet ray], nor the vibrations of either of the solutions from the Appliance, but add these:

5. We would make a compound. Take ordinary Plantain, preferably fresh or green. Take equal parts of Plantain, the leaves, these bruised - not the roots, though the roots may be used if these are chopped very fine - bruise the leaves very thoroughly, and equal parts of thick cream or butterfat; not sour but sweet if cream is used, or the oil of butterfat - equal portions in WEIGHT. Boil together. Cook until thoroughly done, or after it begins to boil keep stirred together for fifteen minutes - full fifteen minutes. Then allow to cool and use this as an ointment.

6. And in cleansing same use equal parts of Camphorated Oil with Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Shake together. Use these as a cleanser after these are used, when cleansing off.

7. These we would follow, keeping the diet as near as possible, making for the necessary changes as may be had, keeping the eliminations well in hand, and we should find these may bring some help.

8. Ready for questions.

9. (Q) What are general indications for improvement during the thirty day period? (A) As has been indicated, there have been improvements. Then there has been a reverting to old disturbances.

10. (Q) Would it be possible to take Atomidine in concentrated form? If so, please give dosage and frequency. (A) DO NOT take Atomidine in concentrated form. In commercial form it may be taken as has been indicated, as we find. With this body, much preferable to take in small quantities oftener than the larger doses, especially for this body and the strain it produces. Do not take more than three to five minims twice a day.

11. (Q) Is the Plantain solution just given to correct the skin trouble and cure itching? (A) This is given for the condition, and as we find will be helpful in drying the conditions.

12. (Q) What is causing phlegm condition and what can be done to correct it? (A) As we find, the application of the Appliance as well as those that will dry tissue, as from both the solutions as indicated, the cleansing as well as the other; and use the spray for the throat as has been given.

13. (Q) What can be done to relieve swelling of tongue? (A) The spray.

14. (Q) What is the bubble-like swelling at side and underneath tongue; what can be done to correct? (A) Unless those applications from the external forces and the vibrations, which should be kept - the plates should be kept very clean from the Appliances; these offer the hope, as we find. These are, of course, advancing conditions of the disturbance. [GD's note: Notice above mention of Appliances. I think Mr. [333] had used his own Radio-Active Appliance for Mr. [1242], in order to help him rest at night, although it does not seem to have been recommended previously in the [1242] series. If so, this accounts for Par. 14-A mentioning two appliances, and for Par. 15-Q, etc.]

15. (Q) Is Radio-Active Appliance in satisfactory condition? (A) As indicated; keep the anodes very clean. Use the Wet Cell Appliance more than the Radio-Active. This comes as a regular time, while the Wet Cell in its associations or solutions is helpful - but in both instances keep the anodes or plates very clean, and the connections balanced.

16. (Q) Is spray solution used satisfactory? (A) This is satisfactory.

17. (Q) Any suggestions for cleansing the infected parts of the face?

1242-4 Page 3

(A) As has been indicated.

18. (Q) What can be done to stop spreading of infection in the face? (A) Use those things as has been given; the Plantain solution.

19. (Q) Any change be made in rubbing compound? (A) Keep these as has been indicated.

20. (Q) Any other suggestions for diet? (A) These we would keep as close to those outlines as possible under the circumstances.

21. (Q) Any other advice? (A) As we find, these offer the greater opportunities for helpful forces.
