Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York, N.Y.

1. GC: You will have before you [1246] - who seeks at this time advice and guidance as to the full expression of her talents and abilities in this present life. You will consider the records of the entity (born June 2, 1884, in Oxford, Maine) in relation to her present associates and outlook, and answer the questions which she presents now as to her plans, associations and ideals.

2. EC: Yes, we have the entity called [1246], and those relationships to the environs, the ideals and purposes, and the activities thus far of the entity in relationship to the application of these abilities regarding its relationships with others.

3. In one giving expression of that which is innate or manifested, in the developments of those influences or forces that are set as ideals, know that the real response must come from within.

4. For unless there is such a response, the assurance that the purpose is in the right direction, it may not be entirely a part of self.

5. The entity - as others - finds itself then in a material world, with the activities as related to material things, mental things, spiritual attitudes and effect.

6. The application of the abilities from the experiences in the earth brings definite relationships with others in the varied undertakings.

7. These at times have been and are very satisfactory. At others the entity finds them rather at variance one to another.

8. Then to make these relationships such that there may be not only the material proposition nor the mental attitudes but ALL coordinating, cooperating one with another, becomes the problem.

9. In seeking the answer then to any problem, the entity may find same if it will first - the mental self - make definite efforts to gain the answer through its own mental reasoning;

analyzing the whole situations much in the same manner as there is a visualizing even before there is a drawing of how an individual room or suite or several would look under the varying treatments with the varying characters of lights or the like, as well as woods and shapes and forms and the like.

10. If the whole situations are taken into consideration, there must necessarily be first the analysis of the character as it were of the individual for whom such might be prepared.

11. So, in the analyzing of the problems for self, analyze same much in the same manner; taking into consideration the individuals, their characters, their associations, their background, their outlook upon their relationships with others. And have the answer, Yes or No.

12. Then take the same considerations, with the answer, into the deep meditation and let there still be the answer from the deeper within - but abide by that given thee! Do not become one that asks and does not abide by the answers! For they would soon become as naught to thee!

13. For the promises are that He will meet thee within; that He is thy life, thy meat, thy DAILY understanding!

14. Then use that thou hast in hand. Not to thine own glory but that there may be, through thy GIVING of thyself as a channel, a blessing to others, in every phase of their experience, in HIS name!

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) My plans and ideas for showing the electric house have been presented to Westinghouse. Verbal orders have been given but the matter dropped. Just what should be my action now on this matter? (A) Press same in and through the channels through which this has been presented, and accepted - and it will become then reality.

17. (Q) Is there any particular individual with Westinghouse who would be most favorable to my work and through whom I should make this connection other than J. F. O'Brien? (A) Through the same channels through which this has been presented.

18. (Q) With just what associations and groups should I develop my work of planning room by room remodeling of old homes for modern needs? Which of the following will be most receptive to my ideas: National Lumber Association, Johns Mansville, Western Pine Association? (A) As we find the Southern Pine Association, as combined with - or a little later combined with - the Western Pine Association. These would be the more receptive to the

activities and to the plans that are a part of the entity's experience. Well that all of these questions be taken in the manner indicated, even WITH the suggestions here, into self; that they may be a part of thy EXPERIENCE.

19. (Q) What advice may be given me as to the presentation of my ideas along this line? (A) As just indicated, know that while these may be in a manner idealistic, there must be the presenting in the manner that there is or may be and can be and would be taken into consideration all the phases of the individual who would or might consider having such changes made in his environs or surroundings. There is the presenting then in a way and manner that such may BECOME as a representation of the very nature of the individuals for whom such changes might be wrought! In presenting same in this way and manner they tell the life, they tell the story, they tell the whole outlook of those who have such in their surroundings or who make of such their environs or surroundings.

20. (Q) With just what groups should I work in planning for the building of new homes meeting modern needs? Are there any specific suggestions for contacts? (A) Choose those, as you find by the study of their manners and ways of presentation, who consider the home not just as a place to stop but who in their presenting or their building of homes there is taken into consideration that the nature of the home is the very foundation of the land itself; whether communities, cities, states or nations! Then, make thy plans with those who take these things more into consideration.

21. (Q) Please advise me in presenting my ideas along this line. (A) Just as indicated.

22. (Q) Any specific suggestions for contacts? (A) As indicated, study the various groups who are engaged in such undertakings. Remember, it has been said that few corporations have souls; but it will be found that these are the ones that are gradually - GRADUALLY - becoming the more successful in EVERY phase, whether it is moving material things, preparations of stones and lumber, or in ANY phase of man's experience! whether building homes, preparation of any of the phases for their development or what not; in fact, it will be found in EVERY phase of experience.

23. (Q) What has caused the apparent blocks repeatedly in

the carrying on of my plans and programs? Please explain and advise me as to how to meet and overcome this. (A) Because, as has just been indicated, there has not always been chosen those that are of a constructive nature in their whole outlook. Some become entangled in that which is a part of the material things, or altogether so. And these do not combine with those influences or forces that are ideal or idealistic in their very nature.

24. (Q) Should I continue work on color? Any advice along this line in developing and presenting my work in this direction? (A) Why and when it is to be used to indicate or carry forward the ideas as related to the very preparations for the environs or surroundings of individuals, and that it may be worked into same, well. And it would be well to continue the study in this phase of same.

25. (Q) Are there any other suggestions (aside from Westinghouse) for my activities in connection with the World's Fair in N.Y. and the San Francisco Fair? (A) These we would hold to, as they are worthy - and are among those whose very channels or basic forces are above many another, in the very principles as indicated. Then we would work with these.
