Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:30 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1259].
2. Now, as we find, there ARE disturbing conditions and these prevent the normal and nominal reaction. The basis of these as we find exist in the functioning of the glandular forces of the body, and the effect is the lack of these secretions upon the activity of the organs that become active through the system; also the excesses that are produced by the non-activity or production of elements necessary to keep a normal balance. Thus through this non-activity there becomes an arthritic reaction in the tendon and muscular forces, and especially in this body through the lumbar and the lower portions of the system.
3. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [1259] we are speaking of, present in this room:
4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find low in the red blood and low in the manner of the distribution of the leucocyte and white blood supply. This makes for an activity in the metabolism of the system that produces a quickening in the pulsation. These disturbances arise from the adrenals' reaction as well as an excess of the elements in the system itself that are at variance to the lactics and their reaction.
5. These then produce even through the circulation such a poor activity in the lymph circulation in the abdominal areas as to produce a slow peristaltic reaction. Thus poor eliminations and those tendencies for constipation that cause the excess through the colon area as to bring about the arthritic reaction in the form of the acid as produced in the blood, in the lymph and in the reactions to portions of the bodily functionings themselves.
6. IN THE NERVOUS FORCES OF THE BODY, we find there is little coordination between the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal in certain portions of the body. This is especially, as has been indicated, through the lower end of
1259-1 Page 2
the cerebrospinal system or across the hips, across the sacral and through the ileum area. Thus we find a heaviness there, and periods when the body becomes-nervous, jerky, unable to rest as well as it should, and the rest does not make for the bringing of recuperations as it should.
7. These are reactions then and are the effects and not causes, as has been indicated; though in making for corrective forces this coordination must be taken into consideration if we would bring the better conditions for the body.
8. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are very good. Discernments and reactions to sympathetic conditions are good at times and at others the body through this sympathetic reaction of its own system becomes rather crosswise as it were with general conditions. Hence we find through these reactions there come periods when the body becomes very easily discouraged in the general order of conditions, whether with self or whether with those about the body. At others the body can be and is very optimistic. These should be and are the normal reaction, and as we find there may be brought about a much nearer normal condition.
9. In the organs of the sensory forces, the natural condition from a poor circulation and an impoverished blood supply makes for a poor reaction.
10. Hence the nasal passages, the throat, at times give an irritation; though it is a sympathetic and not an organic condition. That is, it is a condition that may be corrected if the general condition is taken care of.
11. The lungs, the bronchi, the larynx, all naturally from an impoverished condition become as a portion or source of disturbance, though these are again as we find reflex, as are those conditions in the circulation and the heart's activity as indicated.
12. The digestive forces become disturbed by a poor assimilation through the lack of the proper activity or the proper peristaltic movements through the poor lymph circulation. Hence the normal condition of the stomach is abnormal in its position, in its size.
13. Hence we find there are periods when the body desires food yet very little will fill. At other times when there is much taken there are distresses afterwards owing to the lack of the proper amount of the lactics, as has been indicated as being a disturbance of the lymph and the gland circulation, for the supplying of sufficient balance between the pepsin and the acids.
14. In the liver, the pancreas, the spleen, all of these show at times some disturbance, though these are reflex and
1259-1 Page 3
not causes of the condition; though the natural condition from disturbed circulation and a glandular reaction from an unbalanced condition produce through the activity of the liver disturbances, as it is a secreting and excreting organ in itself.
15. Hence the fullness that occurs about the right side, about the lower portion of the duodenum, is the attempt of the organ, under those activities of the bodily functions, to produce normalcy for the body. And if it were not in such a good condition considering the whole, the disturbances would be much worse throughout this body, [1259].
16. In the lower portion of the digestive forces, through the jejunum, through the colon itself, the slowing of the activities through the lack of eliminations, the tendencies for the secreting of poisons or for the system to absorb same, prevent the body from gaining in weight or in resistance. And the activities owing to the disturbances through the glandular forces of the adrenals, through the inactivity of the organs of pelvis and those conditions as come with the lack of the eliminations as thrown off through these activities, bring about the basic conditions in the system itself.
17. As we find then, in meeting the needs of these, as has been indicated, more than one portion of the system is to be considered in bringing that which would be not only helpful but constitutional as well as maintaining.
18. Hence it will require persistence. And because the body feels somewhat better, do not leave off those things as we would find that would bring nearer to normalcy for this body.
19. First we would begin with these:
20. To be sure, the diet - as has been indicated for the body - must be one of the principal considerations throughout, though these as applications in the proportions as give would be most helpful:
21. Every other day take one minim, before the morning meal, of Atomidine; one minim - one drop - in half a glass of water.
22. Each day take one to three White's Cod Liver Oil Tablets. These now work together and work against one another (the tablets and the Atomidine). Do not take more than these, but take all of these consistently, for periods of at least three weeks, rest a week, then begin again; but in those proportions.
23. We would also have the low electrical vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance but in making the attachments,
1259-1 Page 4
make the attachments every other day differently, and these should carry Chloride of Gold in the solution when attached to the bodily functions. One day attach to the right ankle and the left wrist, this without the Gold solution. The next day attach to the 4th lumbar and to the umbilicus plexus; this application this day carries the Gold solution and the one applied to the umbilicus or lacteal duct center carries the Gold, you see. The next day apply to the opposite wrist and ankle, that without the Gold. Keep these continually for a period of at least sixty to ninety days before a rest period, alternating in the manner as has been indicated each day. One hour each day with the Gold and without the Gold let this be taken.
24. Once a week have a gentle osteopathic massage. After the massage have the applications of equal portions of Tincture of Myrrh, Olive Oil and Compound Tincture of Benzoin, massaged especially across the lumbar, the sacral area, the knees and the feet, the soles of the feet, the muscular forces all along the limbs. Also this should be in the brachial center, the shoulder, the elbow, the wrist and the hand. This to be given once a week following - immediately following - a gentle massage that stimulates principally the sacral, the 4th lumbar, the 9th dorsal and, of course, throughout the cervical area.
25. In the matter of the diet beware of white breads. Beware of fried foods of any kind. Let the diet be rather as these:
26. Do not eat cereals and citrus fruit juices on the same day, but have citrus fruit juices and cereals on alternate days as a part of the diet. Preferably a whole wheat cereal, either cracked wheat or Maltex. This is a good combination of whole wheat, barley and malt that is especially helpful for this body as a cooked cereal.
27. Raw vegetables one meal each day. No cooked food at one meal. This preferably the noon meal.
28. Evenings - fish, fowl, lamb or the like. Do not take hog meat other than breakfast bacon very crisp. The yolk of eggs rather than the whole of same. Milk - rather the combinations or the malted or dry milk than the cow milk. Cooked vegetables for the evening meal.
29. Do these and being persistent we will find in less than three weeks a great deal of help and a slow but sure helpfulness towards nearer normalcy. There will be periods, of course, when disturbances arise, when there will be through the joints, through portions of the body, through the upsetting of the digestive forces, all of these. But keep away from sedatives as much as possible.
1259-1 Page 5
30. Use rather enemas than cathartics, but use salt or saline AND soda enemas. These are much preferable to cathartics. These if they are not taken too hot will not strain nor reduce the vitality of the body. Be sure the eliminations or evacuations through the alimentary canal occur each day.
31. Do this and we will find help and aid, and much nearer to normalcy.
32. Ready for questions.
33. (Q) What causes unpleasant taste and burning sensation in my mouth, and what should be done to correct it? (A) As has been indicated, this arises from the regurgitation and the lack of the proper lactics in the system itself. And with the taking of the Atomidine and with the activity, very soon, of the Cod Liver Oil (that is a stimulation, and is much easier taken in White's Tablets), this will disappear.
34. (Q) What should be done to my teeth? (A) Local conditions need attention.
35. (Q) Should I go back on hydrochloric acid? (A) Let's leave this off for the present. We will produce through the acid from the Gold a much more NORMAL acid for the system IN the system than taking the acid internally.
36. (Q) Who would best carry out these treatments for me? (A) All of these may be taken in the home, save once a week the rubs and the manipulations. These may be had locally or they may be had in other places with those in sympathy with these suggestions.
37. (Q) How can I finance this? (A) This will cost very little.
38. (Q) In my present physical condition would it advisable to purchase a lot at Va. Beach for the purpose of building a cottage that I may make a maintenance while recovering my health? (A) Would be very well, for if these are applied you will have health and you will have those things that go with same to make the opportunities of the mental and material and spiritual life more worth while. Keep an optimistic outlook, that you create in others often and lose hold of yourself.
39. (Q) How can I finance this? (A) Through the regular channels that are open for such in the present with the government.
