1. EC: (Repeating the address, E. Chestnut St. - "Yes, that makes a difference.")
2. Yes, we have the body here, [1269].
3. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions. And, as in some parlance, this body has enjoyed poor health for a long time.
4. These disturbances as we find are rather of a constitutional nature, or the disturbance has been so insidious or slow that there have been the attempts of the body-physical to adjust itself by creating as near as possible sufficient of those influences and forces that would keep as near normal balance as possible - and the body, the mind and the soul remain in unison.
5. Then these have disturbed many of the basic forces. And now, unless there are some reliefs, the body must begin to suffer more and more, gradually.
6. The conditions then as disturb this body would be much as a history of the disturbing factors, and how they have gradually affected portions of the system, and thus brought about a neurotic condition, an anemia, a distemper at times of a nature, poor circulation, neuritis, poor hearing, disturbance in the vision, and general weakness. And at times little ability to rest properly, and others the body apparently cannot obtain sufficient rest. Headaches, dullness in feet and limbs, thumping as it were at times all over, very poor digestion.
7. All of these with their ASSOCIATE conditions are disturbing factors with this body, [1269].
8. THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there is a tendency for congestion in liver, from poor circulation produced by catarrhal condition, tendency to make for small areas of the stomach. This does not dilate properly. The congestions in portion of the liver, combined with all of these, tend to make for a

very poor circulation; very anemic, very much lacking in white and red blood cells - though for the body itself some might call this very good.
9. IN THE NERVOUS FORCES OF THE BODY, the pressures began when there were cold and congestion following a disturbance in the mammary glands and the lacteal glands, and the salivary glands; owing to a condition following high fever or whooping cough and then later with a form of an eruption - or measles.
10. This nervous condition first produced its effect in the throat and bronchi. And there were the attempts then to make applications to build up the body. These produced too great a quantity of elements without keeping a normal balance between potassiums and potashes in the system, and thus there became the effects in many portions of the face, along the eustachian tubes, along those areas around the nerves and muscular forces of a portion of the neck - almost as scar tissue.
11. Hence tautness, tension, and those effects upon the auditory forces began. Those disturbances still kept up, and there was given a stimulation to the circulatory forces which included strychnine, quinine and the like.
12. These only made for a greater expression in the superficial circulation without removing any of the causes and only giving temporary relief.
13. Gradually the effects of the torpidity in the liver, the pressures upon the nervous system, have produced those disturbances now between the deep circulation and the superficial - which cause the joints, the tendons, the structural portions of the body to become (from the effect of the calciums, or too much of calcium) almost brittle, as it were, or that tendency, or the tendency for the cartilaginous forces to become stiff, lack of ionization, lack of oils as it were throughout the whole of the system.
14. Hence we find the body in the present disturbance able, to be sure, to go - but never feeling very well; not able to hear, as has been indicated or given by the body, but the joints and the digestive forces, the extremities, all suffer under these disturbances.
15. As we find, there may be help - and if there is continued CONSISTENT application there may come a great deal of help and relief and the body enjoy much better GENERAL health. The GENERAL health would aid in the hearing somewhat, but after the general health is built up there may be those SPECIFIC applications that may aid the hearing a great deal better.
1269-1 Page 3
16. These then, as we find, would be the beginning, and in about three to four months we would change the applications almost entirely.
17. Do not neglect self or let it become rote in the applications as would be given.
18. First we would begin as with this:
19. EVERY DAY there MUST be the eliminations through the alimentary canal. Not by so much of cathartics but to increase the peristaltic movement, to get the toxic forces away from the body itself and to produce a basis for the building up of better assimilations.
20. After each meal for two or three days take about a quarter teaspoonful of the Alcaroid.
21. After the third day that this has been taken, leave it off and take two Zilatone tablets at bedtime - on the day after the Alcaroid has been left off, you see; drinking plenty of water!
22. Let this go then for two weeks or three weeks, then do this again.
23. But to keep the eliminations each day that there is not the evacuation through the alimentary canal, use high enemas - salt and soda enemas. Preferably take these yourself, using a Fountain Syringe. Not necessary that the water be hot. Do NOT have the water warmer than the temperature of the body, but use this each day when there is not a natural evacuation from the alimentary canal.
24. Each evening when ready to retire, massage the body. Beginning in the central portion or the 9th dorsal, along the spine, massage upward and out the arm lengths, fingertips, around the arm, upward. From the 9th dorsal then massage downward, over the small of the back, across the sacral, down the limbs and especially along on the sciatics, under the knees, wrists, and especially the feet. For such massaging use a combination of equal portions: Olive Oil Cedar Wood Oil Compound Tincture of Benzoin Oil of Wintergreen Shake these together and massage them each evening, not more than what the body absorbs. Let the massage be just upon the fingertips, but massage in a circular motion down the spine and up the spine, circular motion around the arms and the muscular forces.
25. Do this EVERY DAY for at least six weeks. Then leave off for two weeks. And then begin again for another two to three weeks.
26. At the end of the period of ninety or a hundred and twenty days, we would give further instructions for further corrections.

27. Use each day, also, the Radio-Active Appliance; this upon the extremities. First one side, then the other; that is, left wrist, right ankle; right wrist, left ankle. Let it CIRCULATE the body, you see; go around and around.
28. In the massage, massage across the abdomen and around the neck and the head, around back of the ears and especially across the area where there are the centers to the salivary glands, or in the joints of the jaw and the vagus center.
29. In the diet keep to those that are MORE alkalin; or this as an outline:
30. Mornings - DO NOT use citrus fruits AND cereals at the same meal, nor the same day even. Citrus fruits may be taken, or whole wheat, crushed wheat, cut oats or the combinations as in barley and wheat and the like for cooked cereal (as Maltex), but do not combine the citrus fruit AND cereal. Alternate these. These should be the morning meals, with a little breakfast bacon occasionally; and egg. Tea or coffee may be taken, but neither of these with milk or cream in same.
31. Noons - preferably a combination of meat juices OR vegetable juices, but do not put the two together! There may be at times chicken broth with rice or barley, or there may be beef stock with combinations of vegetables, but PREFERABLY only vegetable juices OR meat juices.
32. Keep away from white bread and white potatoes! Yams, the oyster plant, turnips, carrots, all of these that grow under the ground may be a part of the diet. Those cooked, or the vegetables in the evening - as body, as roughage for the body.
33. Do this and after those periods indicated we will give further instructions.
34. Ready for questions.
35. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Mrs. [1268]
