1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1278]. Now, we find there are conditions that may be aided for the better functioning of the physical forces of this body. These conditions have to do with the blood supply, the nerve system, and the effects as are created, and the resultant forces as are seen in specific manners.
2. These, then, are conditions as we find them with this body, [1278] we are speaking of:
3. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there are evidences of the reactions caused in system; left at time drosses that bring to the body in various functionings those conditions that, too much of the lymph appears in portions of the system. This a hindrance in the circulation, and the effect of these drosses or these poisons being left in the system, and the blood stream taking same from portion to portion of the body.
4. IN THE NERVE SYSTEMS, we find the body in a manner BETTER than it has been in times back. This, however, would be aided - especially in the manner in which the effect of the changed vibration for the circulation, and the conditions in the various organs as are disturbed by this disturbed circulation, would be affected BY the change in the vibratory forces necessary to be set up, and the reactions would be for the better, in that the tendency for pains in portions of the body - when there is an over-tiring, especially, of the physical body - these would not be so distressing.
5. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS, the brain forces are good. The activities of the sensory system show the effect of the lymphatic forces as described, through disturbances of the circulation or blood supply, in the manner in which - as has been given. Throat and bronchials and lungs are good, considering the conditions under which the system has been under strain.
6. The heart supply and the circulation there shows the
1278-1 Page 2
effect of the disturbance in the blood, as does the digestive system at times. Not that all the portions of the system where disturbances exist are under as much strain as would be considered as being extreme from that given, yet these show the effect - and have to do with the debilitation that at times occurs; for, as seen, when the dizziness as comes at periods - these are from the effect of the functioning of organs, as of heart and of the digestion under the stress. While that to be attended to is the vibratory forces in the blood supply.
7. In the digestive system and the hepatic circulation - strains on the digestive organs through the activity of portions of the system, especially that of the spleen - for the body has been under many strains, yet takes these in a matter and the manner out of the ordinary; yet the strain on the physical forces manifest themselves in the way in which the functioning of the spleen, with the destructive forces of the blood cells, as well as the digestive force, as regarding assimilation. In the lower hepatic circulation, again, this is seen in how the effect of same is to the kidneys, and the strain on the colon and the alimentary canal, as related to the eliminations.
8. In meeting the needs, then, of the conditions as we find them at this time, we would first prepare as this, for the change in the vibratory forces necessary to create in the system - and when about half the quantity of the medicinal properties are taken, we would begin with more of the massage, or the neuropathic massage, or masseur, that would cause the better circulation - both as related to the nerve supply and the blood's circulation IN the various organs, and especially to the extremities.
9. We would prepare, then, this:
10. To 1/2 gallon of rain water, or distilled water, we would add: Wild Cherry Bark.................2 ounces, Sarsaparilla Root................1 ounce, Wild Ginger......................1 dram, Ginseng..........................1 dram, Cinchona Bark..................1/2 ounce, (That's Quinine Bark - Cinchona, see?) Buchu Leaves.....................1 dram, Elder Flower.....................1 ounce. Reduce this by simmering, or slow boiling, to 1/2 the quantity. Strain while still warm. Best were this strained through the filter paper. Then add, 2 ounces of grain

alcohol, with 2 drams Balsam of Tolu cut in same.
11. Shake solution together before the dose is taken. The dose should be teaspoonful 3 times each day, taken preferably half an hour AFTER the meals - and eat the meals; but be mindful of the CHARACTER of the meals. There should NOT be any white bread. These may be whole wheat or rye, or even the mixture of same. These should be the JUICES, or soups of the vegetables, in which all of the protein from the meats should be put; but not much of the meats, if any. These, though, may be taken at TIMES, when the body feels it absolutely necessary.
12. Be mindful of the eliminations and the EMPTYING of the colon. This should be, and may be accomplished by the use of the white oils; NOT taken too severely, but sufficient to keep the alimentary canal open.
13. When the massage begins, be mindful - especially - of the lower limbs and of the arms; beginning with the first treatments, work from fingertips TOWARDS the body, from the toes TOWARD the body. This should be kept up for at least the first seven days' treatment; then it may be begun from the CENTRAL portion and work TOWARD the extremities, both ways.
14. Do that, and we will find much better conditions for this body, [1278]. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) What causes buzzing in ears? (A) That pressure as is produced in the central nerve system, from the variation in the circulation attempting to adjust itself. With the clearing of the circulation, and with the first seven days of the massage neuropathically, we should find THIS almost ENTIRELY relieved.
16. (Q) What should be done to help bleeding rectum? (A) This may be aided by the use of Tim.
17. (Q) Should growth on left leg be attended to, or is it best left alone? (A) Best left alone at present, for absorption will begin with the treatments, are they given as has been outlined. Remembering, first work from extremities TO the body - then in the seventh day, or after the seventh day, begin from the CENTRAL portion and work to the extremities. We only need to start proper drainage, proper elimination, to ELIMINATE these conditions as have formed UNDER the skin. They do not go deep.
18. (Q) What causes backaches, and what can be done to help? (A) With the application of the properties as given, we will find the changes - for these are the effects of the various properties, and - as will be seen - these have been given due consideration. The effect of this combination in

the system is: In that, first, of the barks, to CLARIFY the blood as related to the respiratory system, or that through the activity of the lungs, in the carbon condition created in system. In those of the Ginger and Ginseng, act directly with the organs as are affected by the gland production in system. Those of the Quinine Bark, are those that are to CLARIFY the blood supply, as is related to the liver. That of the Buchu leaves and Elder Flower, are for those effects in the kidneys and the pelvic organs. Those others are the CARRIERS and ASSIMILATING forces in the system. See? Then, when the massage is added to that, this causes or produces the effect of the system coordinating UNDER a PROPERLY VIBRATING nerve and blood supply. The beginning from the extremities, for the first treatments, to the central body - is to start drainage. The CHANGING, is to PRODUCE the PROPER distribution OF forces when drainage has been begun. Do these. We find we will bring the much better and nearer normal conditions for this body.
19. (Q) Why is nose always dry? (A) From the effect of the circulation.
20. (Q) Should swelling on leg be massaged? (A) As the massage is begun toward the body, this is NOT massaged. When the massage begins from the centers to the extremities, this is gently massaged AROUND same. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n office " " Cayce Hospital " " Mrs. [1192]
