Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Pa. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1288].
2. As we find there are conditions the correction of which would make for nearer normal conditions, and bring about the prevention of a great deal of disturbance later on; alleviating much of that which has from time to time - as an insidious or subtle condition - disturbed the better physical functioning of the body.
3. These as we find have to do most with the glandular system as related to the activities upon the blood supply, especially in the creating of resistances in the body.
4. Then these are conditions as we find them with this body, [1288] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find there have been and are hindrances in there being formed a perfect balance between the white blood and red blood supply; produced as we will see by an affectation in the mucous membranes of the body itself, from the activity of glandular functioning.
6. This condition produces then the lack of that plasm in the blood supply to create proper coagulation by the activities and exercises of the body.
7. Hence we find by an activity whether physical, mental or in any way and manner, the body often feels fagged or is easily tired; it becomes mentally disturbed by conditions of every nature about it, so that it makes for taxations upon the whole of the nervous system of the body. And not until there is then a readjustment through subjugation to portions of the system, or complete rest or a change about, is there the ability for the body to replenish itself.
8. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, these conditions as we find in their action upon the nervous system have produced, do produce an irritation throughout the system; so that at times there becomes accumulations in portions of the system in sacs that form in pressures or activities through the abdominal area, that makes for a disturbance through the
1288-1 Page 2
mucous membranes of the throat, the head, and arise from the inability of the glands through the adrenals and the thyroids to produce those properties that activate in the system owing to a form of catarrhal condition that has existed in the nasal passages, in the stomach itself and through portions of the intestinal system - in the form of a disturbance in the lymph circulation.
9. Then these are the conditions as we find that cause the disturbance with this body.
10. IN THE ORGANS OF THE SYSTEM, as to the effect produced upon these, we find through those activities to the circulation of the head, there are disturbances to the eyes at times that cause or produce a heaviness, a burning sensation; and the disturbance to the ears causes an auditory reaction. Also the sense of taste is affected, so that things do not taste natural; or under those periods of being fagged or tired, there is the inability of taking the aroma from certain foods or the activities of things without the whole sensory organism becoming disturbed.
11. In the throat, bronchi, lungs and larynx: These naturally under the stresses of the character of the circulation become irritated at times; though these from the manner of applications that have been made have been kept clear at times.
12. But until we find the cause or the basis of this, and those activities to the system that would carry into the vibratory forces of the body that to remove the causes, the effects in various portions of the body will not be eliminated.
13. And only have the applications at times become then effective for a short period, the disturbance arising again in another form in another portion of the body.
14. In the heart's activity: With the disturbance in the circulation, this makes an irregularity. In the digestive system it sets up a great disturbance at times, making for a superacidity through the coordination of the activities of the pancreas and the spleen to the digestive forces; again the tendencies for the gastric forces themselves of the stomach to become as a disturbing factor; and throughout the alimentary canal making for a disturbing condition.
15. Through the coordination between the upper and lower portion of the hepatic circulation, and the glandular forces in the circulation, there is the cause or basis through those affectations from the disturbances in the organs of the pelvis and through the abdominal area. These are under stress and strain, so that there are those activities in the lower hepatic circulation that produce irritation - as
1288-1 Page 3
indicated in the manner in which the activities of the kidneys are affected, and the effect of same from those conditions upon the body.
16. All of these arise, though, from those disturbances the correction of which would bring a much nearer normal condition and revitalize the whole influences and forces of the body, re-ionizing as it were.
17. It is necessary then for the body that this balance in the activities of the glandular system, as related to the effect upon the mucous membranes, be created - and the disturbances removed from the system.
18. FIRST BEING BY THE USE OF THESE, AS WE FIND:
19. The low Wet Cell applications carrying the vibratory forces to the system that become active upon the glandular system; carrying into the system through this Appliance the atomic iodine in full strength and Spirits of Camphor, alternated - one solution used one day, the other the next. The VIBRATIONS from these will create to the activities of the system that necessary, by the stimulation of the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system to set up drainages, to eradicate these conditions from the system.
20. In making the application of the Wet Cell Appliance, use the Atomidine (atomic iodine) in this manner:
21. The smaller or copper anode, plate or connection would be attached first, to the 4th lumbar center. The larger plate passing through the solution, the lead passing through the solution, would be attached last - to the lacteal duct and the umbilicus center.
22. In the application of the Spirits of Camphor, the next day (for one solution would be used one day, the other the next):
23. The smaller plate would be attached first, to the 3rd cervical center. The larger plate through which the solution passes in its lead would be attached last, to the upper gastric plexus - or at the end of the esophagus or pit of the stomach itself; so that the vibrations from this plexus as pass through the cardiac and secondary cardiac plexus may carry the vibrations into the circulation in such a manner as to relieve those tendencies for the vibratory forces of the blood supply itself to break up before producing perfect coagulation.
24. Each application would be for thirty minutes, and when taken from the body remove the connection from the solution - until ten minutes before it is applied the next time. One day use the Atomidine, the next day use the Camphor, in the manner indicated. Each carries the vibratory forces to the nerve and to the blood supply, and the vibrations created in
1288-1 Page 4
the system are to alleviate these disturbances as have been indicated; and then setting up the drainages and stimulating the centers through the manipulations to the body.
25. In making application of the stimulations in the osteopathic manner, stimulate the lumbar axis, the 9th dorsal center and - of course - throughout the upper dorsal and to the cervical. But begin in the applications first stimulating the 4th lumbar axis, then the 9th dorsal. This is opposite from the ordinary application. But these the first week should be about twice a week, the next week once a week, the next week twice a week. And then after that there would come periods of rest and then periods of application again of the manipulation.
26. But continue each day with the application of the Wet Cell Appliance.
27. In the diet be mindful that there is not too great a combination of starches, as to form for the circulatory forces and the digestive area too great an acidity - which not only produces the conditions that disturb through the poor eliminations and the toxic forces through the alimentary canal, but produces in the blood stream itself the inability - with the activities of the properties indicated - for proper coordination. Twenty percent acid to eighty percent alkalin-reacting should be the proper balance, or as these:
28. Do NOT combine ever any red meats with the starches, as of white bread or white potatoes, at the same meal. The meats should consist principally of fowl, fish or lamb. Not ANY fried foods at any time.
29. Read for questions:
30. (Q) What causes stomach distress after eating? (A) The overgastric flow of those conditions produced by the effect of that condition as indicated, produced by the lack of the proper flow of gastric juices - through those things indicated.
31. (Q) Is there any obstruction in intestinal tract? (A) As has been indicated, there has been a condition that has existed for some time back through the mucous membranes of the throat, of the stomach - that finds itself expressed in the PULLING at times through the intestinal system. No an obstruction but the tendencies for the mucous membranes to PULL, as it were; and the consciousness of this being present, and the forming of gases in the system and the fullness produce this. With the action of the vibratory forces to relieve this tendency, we will find these conditions disappearing;
1288-1 Page 5
especially with the consideration of the diet as related to starch.
32. (Q) What is best to use for a laxative? (A) The best to use is enemas, but with the vibrations of these influences set up in the system, we will find quite a difference in the manner of eliminations, by the very stimulation through those portions of the lumbar area and the 9th dorsal that will tend to make for a greater flow of the gastric juices or of the peristaltic movement of the intestinal system. When the enemas are used (and use these), they are not straining upon the system if they are used properly. Use in each water a combination of Soda and Salt, and do not have water above the temperature of the body. This will aid in cleansing the colon, stimulating the gastric flow. The proportions for this body would be a level teaspoonful of Salt, a level teaspoonful of Baking Soda (not Sal Soda but baking soda) to the quart and a half of water. Dissolve very thoroughly before being put into the Fountain Syringe.
33. (Q) What causes my headaches? (A) Nervous and gastric pressure upon the central nervous system. Not only the stimulations of the vibrations of those influences to alleviate this condition that has been caused - and as we have indicated - but the manipulations will relieve this. And except at periods when, as has been experienced, these come on as terrific headaches, you will have very few of them. Refrain from sedative as much as possible. When there are the headaches, put the feet in very hot water and put a hot water bottle upon the STOMACH! It'll relieve the headache more than all the sedatives taken for this body. Not at first, but it will be much better than tying up the system and producing the very disturbance that is so distracting the whole of the body. Do as we have indicated and we will bring relief and a rejuvenation of the whole body.
34. (Q) How long should this treatment be kept up? (A) Be kept up for at least six to eight weeks, left off for the time being and if it becomes necessary use again. Use those portions of same whenever necessary. But we will find the body will have not only an opportunity for reactions, but opportunities for many conditions in its experience.
35. (Q) Any other advice? (A) As indicated, let rather the body mentally in all of its activities be constructive in its reactions; that is, as
1288-1 Page 6
there is the opportunity for activative service in every endeavor, use constructive forces. And these aid ever. Not as a strain upon the experience of self or others but as making life the more worth while by being the greater service to the many.
