1. EC: Yes. There are some variations, but we have the entity now known as or called [1297] - or [...]; and those records of the entity in its experience in relationships with this material world - as well as the environs in which the entity or soul has had experiences during those periods of interim about the earth between its entrances into materiality.
2. In giving the interpretations then from these records, we find one whose material sojourns are rather affecting the body at present through the emotions; while the mental activities in each sojourn as dwelt upon by the entity during those experiences or in the interims are as the latent urges that find expression as they attune themselves to the application of the abilities or emotions to activities.
3. Thus we find in this particular entity an activity in which we may say these are well divided; that is, the astrological sojourns and the material sojourns become as helpmeets one to another. Coordinant then, as they should be, in the experiences of each entity.
4. In the astrological aspects we find Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Uranus becoming rather those influences from which many of the aspects of the APPLIED influence become the more prominent in those activities of the entity.
5. We find then the high mental abilities applied rather in specific or definite directions. We find rather the application of self in things or conditions from the Jupiterian influence affecting large numbers of peoples, rather than individually; though, as in most of such experiences, the activities of individuals are required for their activity into human experience.
6. From the Venus sojourn we find that while not that there is not sentiment, not that there is not affection or love
1297-1 Page 2
that finds expression in the material human experience - but rather from those activities of the entity in those environs these must be expressive of concrete experiences in the associations of the entity.
7. While in the Uranian influence we find rather the extremist at times; so that the interests become rather in strange experiences, strange activities in the spheres and realm of human experience. Those things of an unusual nature, of the mystic and the occult nature, have their place - but these become rather as stepping-stones for that which must be the more concrete in the application of activities in the lives of those who experience such; or to the entity such things become emblematical of conditions or of relative relationships of an individual entity or soul to a universal consciousness.
8. Yet these all then, in their combinations, as we find bring these experiences as applied to this present material sojourn of the entity:
9. Interests in those things that affect human experience. Interests rather in organization than the greater activity of expansion; yet these are the basic forces for every endeavor in the activity of such a temperament, for such an experience.
10. Thus the entity may find in that application or that activity the greater self-development.
11. For each soul enters for a purposefulness, that it may be a channel through which this universal consciousness - that is ever present, and being sought as it were by the inmost forces of the entity - may be seen, may find expression in the experience of the fellow man.
12. As in the studies of the entity it is seen that the soul of man is a mere speck in space, yet the soul - though indefinite - is that vital force or activity which is everlasting. Though the earth, though the stars, may pass away; though there may be changes in the universe as to the relative position, these are brought about by those combinations of that speck of human activity as relative TO the soul's expression in any sphere of experience.
13. This then is an experience for the entity in which there may be the application of self in its relationships to others, in giving expression of that which is its ideal, its standard; not for self but for that it, the entity, the soul, would worship in its Maker, its Creator.
14. It is not sufficient that there be a reverence but that - as is held as an active principle in the mental mind, the spiritual mind of the entity - such an ideal must be a practical experience of each and every soul. And this one
1297-1 Page 3
experiences in that it prompts that entity, that soul, to apply in relationships to its fellow man.
15. As to the appearances in the earth, then, as we find, while these are not so great in numbers that influence the experiences and the emotions of the entity in the present, these have been in those periods when the activities of individuals have kept intact, as it were, that hope which has made for man's concept of divinity in man's experience. And these have been in the varied spheres of activity that have influenced the moral, the economic, the political and the spiritual or religious relationships of man to man, and man to the Creative Forces that manifest in a material world.
16. Before this, then, we find the entity was in that known as the English land during those periods when there were those activities of the Holy Wars - or those gatherings of men for a cause, a purpose that seemed to men to represent an idea and an ideal expressed in the defense of a place, of an activity - or the Crusades.
17. The entity then was a leader, yes - yet became discouraged physically through the very influences of those gatherings and those purposes, because of the lack of proper precaution, proper preparation, proper activity in the varied environments.
18. Yet throughout the sojourn, as one Robert Bruce, the entity gained in its own SOUL development; for as the entity experienced, those under a different environment might be just as sincere in heart, in mind, in purpose, as those that hold another ideal.
19. Hence in this experience, from those sojourns between, the entity has sought that answer to what IS ideal - what IS that that man in his experience, in his relationships, considers ideal? If this be true, there is an ideal; there is idealism and there are idealistic influences - yet AN ideal!
20. That that is Truth is growth! For what is truth today may be tomorrow only partially so, to a developing soul!
21. So, the ideal is that which - as truth - grows towards a constructive nature in the experience of each soul; not self-indulgence, not self-glorification, not self-gratification, but that which BEING the basis for expression may be glorified, may be kept as a standard - NOT self!
22. In this experience in the application of same, it may be found by what prompts the activity as one to another.
23. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Persian or Chaldean, during those periods when there
1297-1 Page 4
were the seekings for an understanding and a comprehension of what was to take place in the experience of the WORLD by the entrance of an unusual, unheard of as it were (only by tradition) influence from another source upon human experience, human relationships, human activities; or when the Wise Men of India, Persia, Egypt - yea, of the Mongoloids - were seeking to know the promptings of those activities.
24. The entity then was among those of the Jewish race, yet had withdrawn as it were from those teachings of tradition - or the mere service in the temple - and had joined rather with those who had become of the understanding as handed down by the old Persian teacher, Zoroaster.
25. And that understanding the entity finds in its studies, in its application must be held to; as has ever been the experience of each soul; that the Law is ONE, the Source is ONE! and those that seek other than that find tribulation, turmoils, confusion.
26. Though there may be many approaches, cooperation in the activities - as in the Universe - brings the harmony of the universal activity; as does cooperation in human experience bring harmony and peace; while egotism and self-assertion and self-exaltation and self-indulgence bring inharmonious experiences, and the activity of turmoils, wars, strifes.
27. The name then was Armad-Heliel.
28. In the application of those experiences, as they may be found in the emotions, the interests in numbers, lines, symbols, the stars, the activities of the influences about the earth as in atmospheric pressures - all of these become a part of the entity's seeking, of natural sources.
29. Hence to the entity's understanding, they become rather as signs than that ONE, than that Truth, than that Ideal! And WELL may it be!
30. Before that we find the entity was in the Chaldean land during those periods when there were the preparations for the peoples called the Jewish or Hebraic to return to their own land, for their establishing again of the activities in their home land.
31. The entity may be said to have been the counsellor then to the king, Xerxes; that there might be not only the satisfying of the king's longings for knowledge but that there might be tried out the experiment that those people might proclaim again that which was a portion of their traditions during those experiences.
32. For the entity then acted even as it may be found in the experience in the present, that it may help others to help themselves where the activity of self would not be in that
1297-1 Page 5
direction.
33. As has been throughout the experiences, then, IN THE PRESENT as a counsellor, as an advisor in economics, in morality, in conditions that would have to do with any FORCES IN NATURE as may be applied for the convenience of man or for his use as a better understanding of his relationships as one to another, will be the fields in which the entity may find the greater service to be rendered, the greater harmony within self for activity, and the greater satisfying of those longings in self.
34. An experimenter rather than a promoter, though the promotion to be sure must go with the activities.
35. In the experience the entity gained and lost. The entity then was of the Chaldeans. And there may be found (and well that the entity harken to some of those counsels as then) in those excavations - look for same - that rod ye once used in thy divining of the individual purposes during that experience. This will be among those things that will be soon uncovered. It is of ebony and of gold.
36. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as or called the Atlantean, when there were those that questioned as to the expedience of acquainting the workers with the appliers of the material laws and their spiritual laws.
37. The entity was enjoined then with the sons of the Law of One, yet made for those associations with - and saw the divine and spiritual laws become destructive in the hands and the activities of - the sons of Belial.
38. For when those facets were prepared for the motivative forces from the rays of the sun to be effective upon the activities of those ships and the electrical forces then, these turned upon the elements of the earth caused the first upheavals.
39. Those then were periods of disturbings for the entity.
40. Then the name, as would be interpreted now, was Carman.
41. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
42. First, know in what thou hast believed. As may be seen, these were necessary in thy experiences in the earth. KNOW what is thy ideal, where thou are seeking to go; but that all the forces of the universe and nature are expressed and manifested in thee. For thy body is indeed the temple of the living God; THERE ye may meet Him.
43. In the application among men of those abilities that have been attained:
44. That of organization, that of experiment, the active forces that relate to the morality of people, of their
1297-1 Page 6
relationships for conveniences, their uses of things in nature - these are, as we find, that in which the entity may find the greater harmony, the greater help - yea, the greater development in self.
45. Whether this is by keeping the records or by writing, or by carrying on the actual experimentations - these carry to the same influence.
46. Ready for questions.
47. (Q) Which of my two occupations will be financially most interesting, radio broadcasting or educational pictures? (A) The radio broadcasting will be the greater financially; the educational pictures will be the greater aid to men. Both apply in those fields as has been indicated. These as we find then, as those changes are coming, may be made as a unison of purpose.
48. (Q) To further my work in possible radio reception of cosmic messages, should I attempt to train myself in automatic handwriting, or use a medium? (A) As has been indicated, rather than AUTOMATIC writing OR a medium, turn to the voice within! If this then finds expression in that which may be given to the self in hand, by writing, it is well; but not that the hand be guided by an influence outside of itself. For the universe, God, is within. Thou art His. Thy communion with the cosmic forces of nature, thy communion with thy Creator, is thy birthright! Be satisfied with nothing less than walking with Him!
