Born December 23, 1902, in Oneonta, N.Y. Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: (In going back over years to birth date - "1931 - years of anxiety - '30, '29 - disappointments and yet outlooks for good - '28 - changes - '20 - these were good - '19, '18 - " etc., on back to birth date.)

2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1300].

3. As we find, in making a summation of the experiences of the entity in the present sojourn, and those astrological influences that are a portion of the whole experience of the entity as a soul, we find thus far the experience in the present sojourn has been rather confusing when related to what may be said to be the purposes of a soul's entrance into materiality. Yet there has been gained by the entity in its experiences in the earth, and through the application of self, a fortitude which if but held - and patience kept - should bring many hopeful days, hopeful experiences. And in the application of self in an ideal; not idealistic but an ideal that has been maintained; may bring years of happiness and joy and peace in the experience of the entity yet.

4. Not that there have not been moments, not that there have not been periods when the entity has had hopefulness and a longing for influences that would bring that peace and harmony and rest that has been the longing, not only of the body but of the inmost being.

5. These experiences then that have shattered hopes, that have brought disappointments, that have produced periods when there seemed little or nothing in the material life - if they are used in the experience as stepping-stones and not as those things that would bring resentments, accusations to others, those influences that create discontent, we will find they will become as helpful experiences that may guide the entity, the bodily

1300-1 Page 2

influences, into a haven that is quiet and peaceful.

6. Hence the necessity as is in the entity's whole experience, that the faith, that hope in a divinity that is WITHIN be held - that shapes the destinies of individual experiences in such a way that the opportunities that come into the lives of individuals are those things which if taken correctly make for the greater soul development.

7. Then, look not back upon those periods of exaltation but rather into the hopefulness of a future in this experience when a HOME may be established that IS an ideal in miniature of that heavenly peace that is to every soul that keeps its face to the light; and looks not back upon those shadows of doubt and fear that bring so oft so much discouragement that one fails to know there is a Friend indeed that is mindful of EVERY thought, act and deed of a soul. And He hath not willed that any should be fraught with the fears of despair but hath with each temptation, with each doubt and each fear prepared a way of escape; that those who remain faithful will come to know the way in a much more glorious manner.

8. In the astrological aspects for this entity, [Miss [1300]], we find the leading influences in Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune.

9. These then bring innately these experiences in the active forces of the entity's sojourn in the present. Not that these that influence are activative upon the BEING other than that as the entity allows same to be in the light of that held as its ideal - not earthly, but its hope for a future experience.

10. For Life is real, Life is earnest, Life is everlasting. For Life IS the manifestation of that which is worshipped, that which is sought by each soul; God, in movement, in manifestation!

11. Venus brings that sympathy, that ability for friendships. Yet in its afflictions it has brought disappointments also in filial associations, in the closer surroundings. But if ye would have friends, show thyself friendly. If ye would have love indeed, show thyself lovely. For as ye sow, so SHALL ye reap. But not as for self-glory, not as for self-exaltation, not as for self-ease that there is little care or thought taken of others. For as ye do it unto the least of His children that ye meet day by day, in EVERY walk of life, so ye do it unto thy Maker.

12. This then held as the ideal, in relationships to those experiences as come under the influence of all that has been experienced by the entity or soul in this environment, will bring its fuel, its fruits of love and peace and joy that are not understood oft by those who have not caught the

1300-1 Page 3

vision of that loveliness which is not an outward show so much as the purpose in the heart.

13. For know, man looketh on the outward appearances but God looketh on the heart, the purpose, the desire of each soul. And He hath not left any soul without hope, if there is the trust put in Him.

14. In Venus we also find abilities of the entity for the use of the body-activity in song, in music, in those things that are expressions of that which reaches the hearts and souls - yea, through the emotions of man, so that if these abilities are abused they become stumblingblocks; but with that same purposefulness that prompts the hearts of those who walk close with Him, these bring that satisfaction, that understanding that makes for ever a helpful force in the experience of an individual soul throughout any environment that may become a part of the entity's experience.

15. In Jupiter we find these making for oft those tendencies to become rather an outward expression, yet dealing with individuals and large groups. This, as it is and has been in the afflictions of the entity in the last few years, has brought disappointments. For there was in the experience that which would bring to the experience of the entity the ease without proper thought of the price that might be paid for same in the shattering of some of the ideals that have been and are a part of the entity's being.

16. In Saturn we find those afflictions that have been indicated, both in the Jupiterian and Venus influences.

17. But as we find, as Neptune now comes rather in the forefront, the associations then with those who have to do with dealings in material things over large bodies of water would be well, or those things that have to do with the elements.

18. For each soul is born of water and of blood. Blood is the material, water is the ethereal or the spiritual forces - as may be manifested, or that are as shadows of those that take hold upon the minds and the souls and the hearts of men.

19. In this then we find that which has been indicated, a brighter star, a brighter hope arising in the experiences of the entity; if they are taken hold of in those ways and manners that have been indicated, as are truth, in life - for they are the basic forces upon which each soul must feed. Even as the body must assimilate to be a growing thing, so must the mind and the soul assimilate those forces and influences of the spirit that it, too, may grow into the appreciations and into the activities and into those influences that may bring harmony in the whole experience of

1300-1 Page 4

a soul.

20. As to the appearances in the earth and those that influence the entity in the present, we find these have been quite varied - as may be indicated from the astrological or planetary influences that are apparent in the experiences in the now, or the present.

21. Before this we find the entity was in the land of its present nativity, during those periods when there were struggles among a people for an idea, for what may be termed an idealistic freedom of speech, freedom of activity, freedom from those forces that might bring oppression without representation.

22. And because of those activities in that experience the entity gained and lost, then in the name Susan Waynne.

23. In the experience the entity's activities were those of the surroundings and the peoples of the land, yet with the incoming of those in pomp and in all of their regalia that made for a brilliant array before men, the entity's associations with same turned the mind from the activities that had been a part of its being.

24. Yet the entity supplied that entertainment in song and in associations, and the body was kept clean.

25. This was above the experiences of many that were a portion of the entity's environ, and for this there are those experiences in the present - the inmost influences and forces that make for the seeking for the White Way, that may bring in the greater love and joy and hope.

26. The entity gained in its abilities to preserve body and purpose, yet in outward experiences made for sorrow in the hearts and in the experience of many.

27. Hence as ye sow, so ye reap. The entity has found in the present, while hopes might arise, there apparently are ever present those influences and forces to shatter or to take away the real purposes to which the entity had sought.

28. And the entity becomes at times overshadowed by pomp and position and wealth and fame, which are but material things. For they take wings and fly easily away, and only the shell of same remains to taunt the souls of those who have put their trust in such.

29. Only in keeping, then, the heart, the mind, the soul coordinant one with another is the perfect way, and in which there is found the greater hope and the greater joy.

30. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Roman and the Grecian, during those periods when there were many changes taking place in that portion of the activities of those from the eastern land, and the attempts of those for the destruction of those that were rising in

1300-1 Page 5

power in the Grecian and the Roman land.

31. The entity then was among those that were fair of body, fair of mind, and those things that pertained to what ye term in the present the arts were the interests of the entity; the artist, the sculpture, the song, the beginnings of the entertainments that were allowed by those of its own sex.

32. Then the entity was among those who were often questioned by others as to its purposes, yet rose steadily to a position of renown, even during the activities in that period when men were considered as the overlords of the women.

33. The entity then was in the name Garcia, and of those peoples that were among the first of the Grecian maidens that made for activities in what became the Roman power.

34. For, as has been indicated, these brought an influence upon those that would be called heathen in the day for their roughness, their rowdiness, their addiction to the lusts and the satisfying of those things of the bodily forces. For these purified through the very beauty and grace and activity. And the messages that may oft be brought in such sink deeper into the minds and hearts of men than that as may be proclaimed from that outwardly known as the holiest sphere of activity.

35. In the experience in the present from that sojourn we find the associations or activities or tendencies towards the stage, or the reading, or the song; and those things pertaining to the entertainments for the beauty of same.

36. That which has been held inviolate speaks for that as has been indicated may be the experience of the entity in this sojourn, if the faith is held in not man - for he is unsteady - but in Him that giveth all good and perfect gifts to those that love His ways.

37. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Persian, during those periods when there was a new city, the 'city in the hills and in the plains,' where many from the various lands gathered for an understanding that was not only of a spiritual but a commercial as well as a soul nature.

38. For the entity was of those peoples about the Croesus' forces that made for that activity which brought to the peoples hope in body, in mind, through the teachings then of one in that particular sojourn or period.

39. In the activities the entity drifted much. For the ease and the surroundings brought to the entity the abilities to command or demand of those about the entity. And the simple teachings of that individual or that group the entity

1300-1 Page 6

contacted made for disturbing forces.

40. Yet in the latter portion of the entity's sojourn in the 'city in the hills,' or in Atlebu, the entity gained in that period of activity.

41. So may there be again - into the present experience, from those activities that have made for a floundering of self - not upon the ashes but rather upon that which has been purified by the fires from doubt, the fires from disappointments, the fires from disillusionments, by the purging of the inmost self through the spirit of hope and faith and trust and love - those influences that may bring happiness into the experience.

42. For the greater joy is in giving than in receiving. For as ye do it unto the least ye do it unto thy Maker. And that ye give, that alone ye have; whether it be in love, in friendships, in hopes, in joys - that ye have as ye give.

43. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, when there were those disturbing forces which arose from rebellions through the sentencing or rejection of the Priest's activities; during those confusions the entity rising to one that was questioned not only by the King but by those that were in authority in the Native Rebellion - as well as those in the household of the King.

44. There the entity again found itself pulled between many ways of activity. For as to which choice was to be made, as to who was to remain in power, rather than an IDEAL life, the entity sought to follow.

45. Yet with the return of the Priest and those activities when there was the correlating of all purposes and ideals for man's consideration in not only his home but his economic and his political and religious life, the entity then grew. And yet when there were the very fires of the Temples of Sacrifice, from same did the entity oft flinch from that necessary to bring about that purging of self for those greater considerations.

46. Yet the entity remained faithful to the end and became as one who taught in the homes of those of her OWN land - in the name then Su-Shushean.

47. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and now:

48. There have been - as has been indicated - many turmoils, many strifes. Yet there has been held a ray of hope ever before the entity, as has been indicated throughout the experiences in the earth.

49. Then grasp those opportunities that are before thee in thine associations. And as soon as possible - not as to the

1300-1 Page 7

conveniences of the world, not as to the conveniences even of the body, but in hope, in faith, in trust in God and thine ability to hold Him as thy friend, thy director, thy stay, thy hope - establish a home. For ye will find that a home may be gained that to thee is as a haven. But unless this, too, is kept to GROW as that which may be a representation of that ye seek in the distance for thy soul, ye will lose sight of the joy that may be thine own.

50. Then rather than a career, rather than the commercial associations in any manner - that may be necessary in the immediate - befit thyself and fix thy hopes, fix thy mind upon HOME and all it may mean, all that it implies, all that it has implied throughout man's experience in the earth. For the HOME man will give his own blood. For the home the mother may give her own body. But in the mind and in the heart there comes with all of these that happiness, that joy, that peace, that those who have not given DO NOT know!

51. And it is such as He hath given from the beginning, "Believe in me, trust in me - If ye will be my people I will be thy God."

52. There is today, then, set before thee life and death, good and evil - choose thou! He forceth not Himself upon any soul, but has willed that all - with that birthright of choice, of will - may choose that they may, too, be as companions with Him.

53. In THIS ye will find hope and peace and joy. Not that there will not be periods of upsettings, but if these are kept aright they only make for the greater appreciations of those ideals that have been a part of thy being throughout thy sojourns in the earth.

54. Then may the blessings of hope, the blessings of faith, the blessings of patience be thine. For ye are a channel of blessings to others, if ye will but exercise same in His ways.

55. Ready for questions.
