Time of Reading 11:55 to 12:25 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here.

2. Well if there could be given this body the full comprehension that all forces, all power as manifested in materiality, whether as related to the physical body or to those things outside the body, have their inception in Good - or God; and that knowledge that only what is disturbing in a physical body - mentally, physically, spiritually - arises from a misconstruction of good.

3. As in the conditions in this body, [1309], as we find there have been those conditions in the structural portions of the body where pressures have gradually deflected the flow of impulse and activity to portions of the system; until some organs are in a disturbed condition, not responding to normal or natural reflexes.

4. There was in days past - not an injury, not a hurt, yet a pressure produced in the lumbar axis, where a heaviness to the body has brought these conditions in the physical reaction. First the lower limbs, the organs of the pelvis, all became involved.

5. Through some applications these have been aided; yet have left in the structural portions disturbances in the lower limbs and feet, until these at times cause a great deal of anxiety and disturbing conditions.

6. This same pressure is upon the bodily functions, deflected through sympathetic reactions in the nerve system, flows of the circulation (superficial) to the organs of the sensory system; and we had first a mild form of eczema in the INNER ear.

7. This pressure, by the increase of the flow of the oils and the secretions in the very natural activity, produces a drying. Thus through the Eustachian tubes there has been produced a prolapsus.

8. Thus the hindrances or defection in the activity of the auditory responses.

9. In the activity to the circulation, this has impaired

1309-1 Page 2

same so that at times in the scalp, on the hands, on the lower limbs, there are those periods - not so often, but when there is the tendency for dead skin to easily accumulate; an itching or irritation to the epidermis.

10. These have produced what may be termed a tautness about the system, especially in those particular areas indicated.

11. We find also from this deflection that, with those contributory causes from pressures in the lumbar axis and the coccyx area, there is an upsetting of the assimilating system; and a deflection of the activities from especially the internal activity of the thyroid glands.

12. Hence with this straining and with this deflection and this easing of the activity of this gland, those fullnesses about the throat make for uncomfortable experiences at times.

13. These as we find occur then in the physical, or the nature's reaction in physical conditions to the body; or a natural result.

14. And these as we find may be met the more perfectly, then, in the natural or nature's applications.

15. Not by drugs, not by any great change; except the CORRECT adjustments of those deflecting portions. And we would have these done osteopathically. First the general treatments for correction in the lumbar and sacral and coccyx area; naturally relieving pressures in the lower limbs and especially in the bursa of the feet, and a relaxing (not making adjustments yet, in the beginning, but relaxing) those areas in the upper dorsal and through the cervical for more perfect drainages from these portions of the body.

16. And then in three to five weeks (taking two adjustments a week) we would have the first of the finger surgery, or the manipulations to break those adhesions as caused along the Eustachian tube areas.

17. It may be necessary after the first breaking up (not so severe in its measures of breaking up those adhesions along the Eustachian) to in three to six weeks break them up again; in the meantime having one GENERAL osteopathic manipulation a week, still giving particular attention to the lumbar and sacral and coccyx and especially to the lower limbs and the feet particularly.

18. During the whole period we would have each evening the low vibrations from the Radio-Active Appliance, used in the extremities to bring the proper balance of circulation between not only the extremities but from the radial activity of the vibrations produced by the currents of the body itself as are stimulated to activity by the use of the

1309-1 Page 3

Appliance upon the opposite extremities of the body. This will aid in assisting the stimulations for drainages from head and neck, the vibrations to the whole of the system created by that releasing of tautness in the system through the manipulative measures.

19. And during those periods when there is the use of the Radio-Active Appliance for thirty minutes to an hour each day, that creates a balance in the system, let there be those meditative influences within the body-mind, the body-consciousness; as this - to attune the whole of the system to not only the divine within but that innate desire for self to be used as a channel for manifestation of that consciousness of the Christ-Spirit abiding within (and the meditation would be as this):

20. "CREATE IN MY BODY, IN MY MIND, LORD OF MERCY AND OF HOPE, THAT CONSCIOUSNESS THAT MY BODY MAY BE A CHANNEL THROUGH WHICH THE GLORY OF THE CHRIST-CONSCIOUSNESS MAY FLOW; THAT OTHERS, TOO, MAY KNOW THE LOVE THAT THE FATHER HAS BESTOWED UPON THE CHILDREN OF MEN THROUGH THE GIFT OF THE CHRIST-LIFE IN THE HEARTS AND THE MINDS AND THE SOULS OF MEN! IN HIS BLESSED NAME BE THAT DONE IN MY BODY THOU SEEST I HAVE NEED OF, TO BE THAT CHANNEL."

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) Is it advisable having my teeth out? (A) This as we find is only a portion of the condition, and rather a result or effect of disturbing conditions. While local attention is needed, the massage of the gums with either Ipsab (as an alleviator for gum disturbance) or equal portions of salt and soda would be that necessary for the corrections of this portion; IF the other directions are followed in toto. If these are not all to be done, then do not begin!

23. (Q) Would you advise wearing arch supports? (A) This is very helpful but as we find may be soon discarded, if there are the applications or treatments given - do not depend upon these but rather upon the ability of the body to respond; for the natural forces will coordinate if the unnatural conditions and pressures are alleviated.

24. (Q) Are Catalyn Tablets advisable for me to take? (A) These as we find are not NECESSARY; neither would they be necessarily harmful. This as we find would be rather as a matter of choice - if there is the feeling at times because of the strain upon the body and the nervous system that such strengthening vitamins are needed for the system.

1309-1 Page 4

But nature's storehouse (thine own body) may be induced to create every influence necessary for bringing greater and better and nearer normal conditions, if the hindrances are removed. Do that, as given.

25. (Q) Would Dr. Schoelles [George J. Schoelles, D.O.] be able or preferable to give the manipulations and adjustments as suggested? (A) This depends upon the ability of Dr. Schoelles, to be sure, to carry through the whole. We would advise the corrections in the feet, in the lumbar and coccyx area and sacral area, as the relaxing and working with - and as we find this can be done by Dr. Schoelles - the whole - IF so desired.

26. (Q) Who would be suggested to give the finger surgery? (A) As has just been indicated. In cooperation - or Dr. Schoelles, or in cooperation with him.
