1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1315]. Now, as we find, the body is very good physically, and while there are disturbances that manifest occasionally in the physical functioning of the body, will some warnings be adhered to and corrections made of conditions that are merely making for disorders that may be easily corrected in the present there will then be a much bettered condition, and the physical forces may function the nearer normal.

2. These conditions, as we find, have to do with the nervous systems of the body, and the taxations that are produced at times that cause the disorders.

3. These, then, are the conditions (apparent) as we find them with this body, [1315], we are speaking of:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find, under the nerve strains that have existed mentally and physically at times, is very good - considering that condition. The QUALITY is nearer normal than the QUANTITY. In this respect we find that the nerve pressures, or disturbances, prevent the normal assimilation for the creating of the sufficient QUANTITY for the storing of as much reserve energy in this direction as may be possible with the body. This then, from the inclinations, shows that at times there are from the assimilations - those of nervous headaches; not severe, save at times. At times there are, through the central portion of the body - or in the regions of the lacteals - those pressures that produce that of nervous indigestion. These are not severe attacks at present, but with the system's continual adjusting itself to these pressures and disorders, these conditions must continue to grow, or naturally become that of a system's adjusting itself to a disorder that - under strain or stress - would eventually show for disturbances of a nature arising from HIDDEN disorders in a system.

5. IN THE NERVE SYSTEMS that show for the pressures, these -

1315-1 Page 2

as we find - are in the lower dorsal and upper lumbar regions. Hence those scarcities at times in the action of the kidneys, in the eliminations that go for those conditions that produce hot and cold flushes at times to the body, and that tendency of the appetite to vary a great deal in its capacity; that is, at times hunger is abnormal, while at others there is no desire for food. This makes also for those disorders which come from pressures reflexly to the throat and organs of the SENSORY system. Not BAD vision, not disturbance in the hearing particularly, but at times fullnesses occur in throat, in head, in the vision and the taste. Especially may this be seen or experienced were there those actions as for tests in the color effects, and the effects of colors upon the body - for it is sensitive of nature, and at times SUPER-sensitive to noises, to taste, to the visions - and becomes irritant under it. These are reflexes, or lack of proper coordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal, from those existent in the 10th and 11th dorsal, and the 2nd and 3rd lumbar areas.

6. In the effect these have upon the ORGANS of the system:

7. Brain forces are very good.

8. Sensory organism as indicated; not an UN-alignment in its activity, but sensitive to the VARIATIONS that occur in same.

9. Also as for the effect in a low amount of blood supply, the action of heart not ABNORMAL - but slow; as the PRESSURE is also low.

10. In the lungs' action of heart, slow in the blood supply THROUGH the system. There are periods, however, when these are reversed; dependent upon the nerves' reaction in system.

11. Digestive system, as indicated, shows for that tendency of the stomach, or the organ itself, to be smaller than is ordinary; and while not dipped, there are periods when there is the feeling as if it were low, yet this - as it were - MOVES WITH those relaxations of the nerve forces in system.

12. The reaction in the lumbar and lower dorsal makes for that variation in the activity of the kidneys, though no disorder there as an ORGAN - but rather as the FUNCTIONING of the organs. This also makes for that heaviness in the lower limbs, when any activity has brought more blood supply in that portion of the system.

13. In meeting the needs, then, for the present - while conditions are not exaggerated at the present, and while in many respects the body feels VERY, very good at times; at others rather slow in its reaction, and dull at times from those reactions to conditions that make for irritations.

14. We would, through manipulations osteopathically given,

correct those conditions in the lumbar and dorsal area. This may be done in a short period, and then through a period of several months OCCASIONAL manipulations that there may be kept the proper attunement of the assimilating and eliminating system; occasionally using a low electrical vibration from the application of the violet ray along the cerebrospinal system - which, as we find, will make for better coordinations throughout the body, [1315].

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) Will the body keep that as has been occasionally outlined for the body, in keeping a well balanced diet for the blood and nerve building, these will be well.

17. (Q) How often should the manipulations be given? (A) In the beginning we would have two to three treatments a week, for ten to twelve treatments - then when NECESSARY; once a month, or once in two weeks - or the like.

18. (Q) Should the violet ray be used at the same time the manipulations are given? (A) Not necessarily at the same period of treatment, for the violet ray will be more helpful will it be given when the body is ready for retiring in evenings, for a few minutes along the cerebrospinal system - whole length of the spinal column.

19. (Q) Each evening? (A) When necessary each evening, for the stimulation of the nerve centers to the superficial portion of same. May be each evening, or it may be every two or three evenings apart, or the like - and the period of treatment would last for the length of time NECESSARY to BRING relaxation to the system, whether two minutes or fifteen minutes!
