Time of Reading 11:30 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1317].
2. Now as we find, while there are physical conditions that need correction, a great contributory cause or a greater part of the disturbance that makes for a hardship is the mental attitude of the body regarding some surroundings; especially as related to some individuals with whom the body is associated.
3. Hence as we find, in considering the whole of the conditions as disturb this body, [1317], all of these things must be taken into consideration when there are administrations for the physical relief; owing to the temperament of the body itself.
4. These then are physical disturbances as we find them with this body, [1317] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates as we find a deficiency in especially the red blood plasm as builds for resistance; yet the strength and vitality would in some ways indicate this from appearances would be wrong. Yet as we find there is the lacking in those very influences.
6. Hence we find, WITH the attitudes, the body easily becomes tired - mentally, physically. Routine that is so much a part of the body's activities becomes burdensome, cumbersome as it were. And the body realizing the conditions becomes nervous when through sheer will there is the attempt to create or to bring about normalcy in its reactions to conditions about itself.
7. This becomes disturbing to the better physical force of the body; and is indicated as we find in the circulatory system.
8. In the nervous system, naturally, emotions as well as physical conditions from strains that have been in the body still as we find leave pressures in those areas especially about the lumbar axis and the 5th and 6th dorsal plexus. These in part have been materially aided.
9. But as we find if there would be further corrections

osteopathically, or chiropractically with the osteopathic massage following same - after the body is thoroughly relaxed, before adjustments are made, with WET heat - we would find there would not only be an aid to the circulation through the whole of the system but the inclinations for this anxiety will be removed - which may be said to be a portion of the effect of the suppressions of the mental and the physical attributes of the body, through not only the pressures upon the circulation and the nerve system but from those also where there was the necessity of using up energies under stresses for activities upon the body.
10. These as we find would be much preferable to SOME of the treatments that have been given. Relax the body with wet heat, especially in the upper dorsal and the LUMBAR axis also when such adjustments are made. And these we would have at least three times a week for two to three weeks, rest a week and have them again. These would make for a change in the physical reactions such that the strength and the vitality, the resistances may be builded much differently for the body.
11. During these periods we would find, too, that the low form of electrical vibrations of the bodily functions themselves will materially aid; through the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, making for better coordination in the extremities of the body in the circulatory forces, relieving stress and strain in such a way that the rest in normal sleep will be more helpful to the body. And in the use of same: This we would use each evening just before retiring; and during this period of thirty minutes to an hour, use the time not as in study but rather as a period of meditation upon CONSTRUCTIVE forces, as related to the attitudes of an individual towards his fellow men, in the nature of constructive forces. Not only in the reading or meditation upon the better classics, but the Scriptures also. Read the 30th of Deuteronomy; apply it to self. Read the 1st of the Psalms, the 24th, the 91st, the 23rd and the 150th; and you will find them not as historical happenings or events but as the expression of the experience of an individual entity, a soul - as self - seeking to know the greater, the better, the more helpful relationships to Creative Forces. And we will find the outlook upon life, the activities in its relationships, its associations, will become quite a different experience.
12. Then in a portion of such periods also, not too much at once - a verse or two verses - then meditate upon same as being an experience of self; not someone else but of self - the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th of John. And know these are not
1317-1 Page 3
for those present alone, but mean YOU and YOUR relationships to the Way to Life, to Creative Energies themselves!
13. And ye will find the environs and the surroundings becoming more as a means of expression where greater opportunities are being given than ye are entirely embracing.
14. Not to induce by force thy wishes or thy will upon others, but rather as ever in thy dealings with those of developing minds, those souls seeking expressions in a physical way, "yet may I SHOW thee a more excellent way," in first knowing thy relationships to thy fellow man, thy relationships to the Creative Forces that may find expression in thy dealings with thy fellow man.
15. For as ye mete it unto thy fellow men, the LEAST of these, ye mete it unto thy Maker.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Have I been doing the right thing for my back, which was injured about fifteen years ago? (A) As has been indicated, partially; but these as have been indicated we would NOW do: The services of an osteopath or a chiropractor (Phillips [Ernest Palmer Phillips, D.C.] will do very well), where there is used the method of first relaxing the whole of the segment areas, especially in the dorsal and cervical as indicated, and the lumbar and coccyx area; and THEN adjustments made - not by SUDDEN movements of the segments but a gentle movement, and ALL made to coordinate. This relieving of the pressure upon the various plexus will relieve this disturbance to the circulation and assimilation. And then the vibrations of the Radio-Active Appliance from the bodily activities themselves will create a better balance. And we will find that the attitudes will have much to do not only with the physical but the mental feelings. For the promises of Divinity are THINE, and are within thee! Hold fast to them!
18. (Q) What causes my lack of response since my appendix operation? (A) As has been indicated, there has not been the complete removal of pressures upon the plexus and ganglia along the cerebrospinal system from which the organs receive impulse for activity.
19. (Q) Owing to my physical condition, would it be wise for me to make a change in my work? (A) As we have given or indicated, it would not be well in

the present. If those precautions, if those activities outlined are followed, as WE find we will gain much from the present environ and surroundings - if there is the change of the attitude and the physical conditions in RELATIONSHIPS to same. Do not let anxieties become stumblingblocks in thy dealings with others. Do not let the physical conditions become an excuse as to thy feelings and thy relationships to others. Rather let them be met as one.
