Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Body and enquiring mind. Questions as to material affairs.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1319]; this we have had before.
2. In considering the material surroundings, as has been indicated the great anxiety which has been experienced has had much to do with the physical reactions in the body.
3. But those tendencies in the mental self to judge others, to hold malice, to make for condemning of others for their seeming lack of anxiety or for their seeming lack of attention to that which self holds as an obligation, do not make for peaceful or harmonious experiences.
4. Ready for questions.
5. (Q) Shall I drop the real estate of the estate of my husband? Is there a future? Shall I continue to pay the losses? (A) In part of these, it would be well to continue to hold to some of the estate. But where there is little likelihood or little possibility of getting or having the full cooperation with those who are associated in the activities as regarding portions of same, very well to not keep those conditions about self that cause this great anxiety.
6. (Q) Shall I drop the property I have in my name, as there are heavy losses and the city demands extensive repairs? (A) These as we find would be very well to be dropped.
7. (Q) Is the property being managed right? (A) As has been indicated portions of same, where there is very good cooperation, are very well. Those where there is lack of this, these we would dispose of.
8. (Q) What advice can you give me to doing something to earn money, as I have four families depending on my support? I worry and can't sleep over it.
(A) As we would find, from those activities where there have been the incomes, the helps and the aids that have been given for others, from those characters and natures may there be expected to come resources to carry on.

For that ye give of yourself in service to others, that ye retain. These come back to self - as in the sowing of good deeds. These are not as idle words but if the service is given that ye may have good things only, you already have your reward. But in keeping in the helpfulness for others, in the activities in that direction may there come the greater service to self, to those dependent upon self.
And ye know in whom ye have put thy trust; ye should know - ye do know. Ye have only lost thy hold, thy grip, by the things and for the things that are of the moment.
For the earth is the Lord's. Trust rather in Him. And as ye do to others may it be done to thee.
