Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1321].

2. As we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body. These as we find have to do with the eliminations as are produced by the changes in the natural functionings of glandular forces and their coordinations with the mental and the physical reactions in the body.

3. Hence those tendencies for periods of reactions that produce melancholia at times, aggravating conditions that cause antagonism and those that make for finding of fault with self, with conditions, with others about the body.

4. These as we find may be materially aided by a stimulation to the circulatory forces, or the circulations in the body, and to the glandular forces as will produce the better coordinations. And with these corrections and changes we would find more affability, more of an outlook upon environs and conditions, and we will find much of that as has disturbed the body in those physical forces relieved and aided - as produce at times catching pains, anxieties in portions of the system.

5. Then these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1321] we are speaking of:

6. THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this indicates a disturbance in the circulation as related to the activities of the organs of the pelvis, as to the digestive forces and as to those activities with the nervous system.

7. Hence we find periods when the body becomes restless from these aggravating conditions or pressures upon the nerve forces of the body.

8. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find there is not the perfect coordination between the sympathetic or vegetative and the cerebrospinal nerve system, by those pressures that exist in the lumbar, the sacral and the lower dorsal area; or this heaviness from the hips and the lower portion of the back to

1321-1 Page 2

the central portion of body almost.

9. These are reactions from those areas from which pressures cause the mental aberrations, or the anxieties, or those tendencies to become antagonistic, those tendencies to become contentious about minor conditions, or even those that have much to do with the general surroundings of the body.

10. IN THE PHYSICAL ORGANISMS, all become affected through the stress and strain of the nervous system and the disturbance to the circulation, so that organs at various times find different effects. The headaches at times, heaviness in the lower extremities, disturbance in the liver, the eliminations through the alimentary canal at various times become a part of the whole disturbance.

11. AS WE WOULD FIND, THEN, IN MAKING APPLICATIONS FOR HELPFUL CONDITIONS:

12. Not every evening, but three to four times a week, just before retiring, we would massage into the lower portion of the back - across the lower lumbar and the sacral area - a combination of equal portions of Mutton Suet or Mutton Tallow (melted) and Spirits of Turpentine, Spirits of Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Heat the Suet or Tallow, of course, and then add the equal portions of the others. Stir together. Massage just what the body absorbs. Then apply heat, preferably heated heavy salt in pads or packs, until the body rests well from same.

13. We would prepare a compound to be taken once a day for periods of a week to two weeks, then a rest period of a week to two weeks, and then be taken again. Prepare in this manner:

14. To 2 ounces of Strained Honey, add 2 ounces of Distilled Water. Let this come to a boil. Skim off the refuse, and when cool - not perfectly cold but cool, add 1/2 ounce of Grain Alcohol. Then to this as the carrier, add in the order named: Elixir of Calisaya..................1/2 ounce, Tincture of Stillingia..............1/4 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium.....20 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium....30 minims, Tincture of Capsici...................1 minim. Shake solution, and take a teaspoonful before the morning meal, and then after two to three weeks rest an equal period and then begin again - until the whole quantity is taken.

15. In the exercises of the mental abilities and the associations, let those be ever not as conciliatory or as a

1321-1 Page 3

giving away to the general reactions of the mental and associations, affiliations, but positive - yet gentle; reasoning yet not antagonistic, not making for too great amount of conversation as in debating.

16. And with these changes physically we will find the reactions of the body such as to bring about quite a variation in the reactions of the body mentally and physically.

17. Ready for questions.

18. (Q) Any counsel or advice to the husband regarding this body? (A) As has been indicated, let those who surround the body be persistent in the following of the suggestions, but gentle, kind; not antagonistic yet not giving away to every whim or change of mental attitude. But we would find that with the physical changes as will be brought by the applications here as has been indicated, there should be in a few weeks quite a change. Do that.
