Time of Reading Grossman Hotel, 3:40 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Lakewood, N.J. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes.

2. As we find with this body here, [1338], there are the mental disturbances that arise from softening of tissue. And this has been since the changes that have come about in the physical reactions of the body.

3. There are periods when it becomes so there is less coordination in the mental and the physical reactions than at others.

4. Hence as we find in the main, what has been intimated or given as the cause is correct.

5. As to what may be helpful, we find a different administration would be more so. Yet necessarily under existent conditions and those temperaments of the body and the mental forces of the body, it would not be well to change until those periods have passed of the present reaction in the system.

6. But when changes may be wrought:

7. We would apply the low electrical vibrations from the Wet Cell Appliance as would carry Gold to the system; these would be most beneficial.

8. Also we would use with same the osteopathic manipulations necessary to allow for the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system to become better drained and to make for stimulation in those centers where cerebrospinal and the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system coordinate. But these manipulations had best be directed when such a time comes; which should be within the next few months or possibly in five to six weeks. Then specific treatments may be outlined, which will depend upon the manner in which those characters of sediments that have been or are being administered (or sedatives) affect the body.

9. As we would find, even a better sedative (which would quiet the body the better) would be the Extract of the Passion Flower. This given as we find would not be habit-forming; neither would it be such as to cause too

great a distress in other portions of the system by producing a strain upon assimilating and distributing forces and eliminations from the body. The dosage here would be half a teaspoonful. But this is to be the choice of those, to be sure, who are aiding or who are administering for the better conditions of the body.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What caused the condition? (A) As given, those periods when changes came about - or the menopause (if it must be given in this term) began; there were not the proper precautions taken as to the conditions as set about in the system during those changes. And the effect came upon the coordination between the impulses and brain and nerve tissue.

12. (Q) How long should she remain at Lakewood? (A) Until the body is quiet or it may be in better control of self, to be sure. And as has been indicated, it may be in a few months, or in six weeks.

13. (Q) Why did the condition stop so suddenly for several months and then come back again so suddenly? (A) As has been indicated, it is the cycle of the activity of the system attempting to adjust itself under the new vibrations or forces in the body.

14. We are through with this reading. Copy to [Son] " " Ass'n file " " Mr. [257] (to be given to Osteopath when treatments may be begun and further information sought) (Am asking the Health Home Remedies Corp. of Norfolk, Va., to send you explanatory sheet regarding the Wet Cell Appliance. GD.)
