1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1347].
2. In giving that as may be helpful in the experience of this entity in the present, from the records here let's divide this into three phases - and the summary.
3. From the combination of the material or earthly sojourns, and the interims of consciousness in the phases of experience or existence about the earth, we find these as influences.
4. Then from the application of self in the interims and the astrological sojourns or astrological influence AND the earthly sojourns we may determine within self WHY these influences or urges are innate and manifested; and in the summary we may give helpful suggestions for the application for the betterment of self in this experience.
5. From the combination then we find:
6. One somewhat timid, somewhat shy, under many circumstances and conditions.
7. One not given to be overly flamboyant in conversation, unless very much exercised or unless it has been aroused to indignation. But when the entity speaks, it is usually that which is worth while that is given.
8. Beware of those influences, then, when anger rules the tongue.
9. The entity is given naturally to that which is in its own training of a moral and spiritual nature.
10. These then are influences that are to be magnified by practical experience.
11. The tendencies towards that which would be for safety purposes for individuals or for groups are the natural and the innate manifestations of the entity's activities.
12. Also those things having to do with the reading of literature of a nature are a part of the entity's better self, as well as of its questionable self.
1347-1 Page 2
13. As to the astrological influences, these arise not - as is sometimes surmised or given - because the entity was born under a given star, but as the Lord thy God is ONE, so His purposes with thee are one.
14. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof. The universe He called into being for purposes that the individual soul, that might be one with Him, would have, does have, those influences for bringing this to pass or to be in the experience of every soul.
15. For hath it not been given that the Lord thy God hath not willed that any soul should perish? but He hath prepared with every temptation a means, a way of escape.
16. Hence the position or the period of the entrance is not ruled by the position but it may be judged by the position as to the influence the entity may bear as respect to the planetary or the astrological influence upon an entity's experience because of the entity's application of self's abilities relative to its position in the universal scheme of things and conditions in the experience of a soul-entity.
17. Thus those things that may have to do with the associations of the entity in the larger sense, or greater numbers of peoples, will be not only the material but the mental and the life work of the experience of the entity in this sojourn.
18. And this being that as is commonly termed the benevolent force or influence in the experience (Jupiter), the activities must evidently then be of that nature in its relationships to others; whether in a commercial field, or as an artist, or in whatever field of endeavor is chosen as the means or manner of expression by the entity in this particular sojourn.
19. Also we find Venus as a ruling force. Hence the entity is tender-hearted; one with a loving disposition, quiet in mien and manner.
20. Yet when it is aroused, as from its associations in the Martian forces, we find it is one "let loose" with all the vitriol that is capable of being expressed; whether in activity, in mental or in any expressions possible in the experience of the entity's activity.
21. Yet the entity is quiet of manner, rather reserved; and not quite sure of self - that must be grown out of by the application of self to its benevolent or (preferably) spiritual ideals in its relationships to material things as well as the mental and spiritual influences in the experience of the entity.
22. These make for then the whys within the mental forces, as has been indicated as a summation of the experiences of
1347-1 Page 3
the sojourns of the entity in the earth's plane, for this particular activity.
23. As to the appearances in the earth, then, not all are given - but those that have a greater bearing, the greater influence upon the emotions of the entity that find expression in the entity's relationships to individuals and things in this particular sojourn.
24. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there was that called the American Revolution; or the period of struggle for freedom, or for the Colonists' independence.
25. The entity then in the name Georgas Putnam was active not only as an agriculturist (as would be called, or farmer) but as a storekeeper, and then as a director of that which made for the preservation of stores for those who were directing the aggressive activities of the peoples; or the keeper of the ammunition, food supplies, clothing and what not; thus insuring the safety of the provisions of all characters for meeting the needs or necessities of the individuals who were engaged in waging war.
26. Hence we find these expressions in the appearance of the entity in the present emotionally; a good story well told but not too smutty; the ability to write; the ability to hold up its argument.
27. And as to the fields of activity in which we find the entity may find the greater joy, acting in the capacity of an INSURANCE representative, or actuary, whether fire or life, or of those of such natures, would be the fields - if the entity were trained in those directions in which from that expression and that experience, as will be seen from others, the greater joy of activity might come. Not that there will not be given some times for writing, or reporting as for magazine articles; but these will begin as we find preferably in the fields of service or activity in which the entity engages itself.
28. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Roman, during those periods when there was the special activity in the foreign lands; when there was the establishing of the procuratorship in other lands - as in Egypt, Greece, Palestine and other lands.
29. The entity then was a representative of that ruler who began that period of activity in the beginning of the first Christian era; or during the days when the Master walked in the earth.
30. Then the entity established its representation in the Grecian land, or that which is a portion now of the Turkish land.
1347-1 Page 4
31. The entity gained and lost, for during those experiences there were those in the entity's own association - among its own associates - who made for the ruling of influences, or the denying of much of the reports.
32. Hence confusions and activities that brought about a great deal of discussions arose.
33. So not until the very latter portion of the entity's sojourn, again back in Rome, do we find the entity - as Polyneus - making for that which may be termed as mental or soul development during the experience; though the material experiences were in that of a gradual rise to power - but after there had been a change in the rulers in Rome.
34. From that experience or sojourn we find in the present, from the emotional self, not only that as represented from the Martian astrological influence but the anger from being crossed in purposes.
35. And much of the timidity arises from those experiences also; yet much of that strength as was gained in the study of those things that were experienced in the latter days of the entity's experience in that land - the lessons of the Master.
36. These became a part of the experience of the mental forces of self, and becoming expressed in the present may be as the bulwarks of faith; that upon which the body mentally, the body spiritually, yea the body physically, may rely for strength.
37. For the power of His might remains within those places in self where He has promised to meet thee oft, and He will not leave thy soul desolate but will come to give strength within self to as many as call upon His name and DO His biddings towards their fellow men.
38. Be CONSISTENT in all thy dealings.
39. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were turmoils and strifes by the uprising of those in the King's own household, and the banishment of the Priest, and the rebellion of the Natives.
40. The entity was among the Natives who rose in rebellion and made for those activities that allowed the opportunities for the Prince of Ibex to withdraw and make his own expressions of desertion to activities of the King and the Court.
41. But during those periods when there was the return of the Priest, and a correlating of the tenets or teachings of many lands and their application in relationship to the material things, for the betterment and for the common good of many, the entity came then to be reckoned among those;
1347-1 Page 5
that were not only from the Atlantean peoples but from the Abyssinian as well as from the Caucasian, the Indian and the land of Mu.
42. The entity was a counsellor for those who made general distribution not only of the material knowledge for the bodily protection but for the protection of foods, the protection of individuals, the protection from droughts or from those things over which nature ruled.
43. For even in those periods there was the study of the relative relationships of man to the forces of nature as expressed in the earth, and the forces in man as related to the influences of spirit or life outside of self.
44. Then the entity, in the name Ne-ha-sor-ses, made for a great development in those latter periods.
45. This may be manifested in the present experience as an actuary, as a study of conditions as made then.
46. In the summing up of that to which the entity may attain, and how:
47. First know in WHOM thou hast and dost believe, and know that it must be of the Spirit to be everlasting.
48. Have thy physical and mental ideals, to be sure, but be sure that such are prompted by their spiritual source; or by thy spiritual reverence for the preservation of constructive forces in the experiences of others. And this would be in the beginning of the activities.
49. As to the fields that may represent the manifestating of the entity's abilities, we find that in either insurance of any nature or as an actuary in same, or as combining same with its application in those of letters or of writing and the like, the entity may find the greater expression.
50. SUCCESS may be made in most any commercial field chosen, but in those of the nature as we find indicated from the sojourns, from the innate and manifested forces, these be the channels through which the greater material satisfaction, the greater mental ideals and development may come; as well as offering for the entity a channel or means for its spiritual relationships to Creative Forces.
51. Follow those.
52. And may those blessings of a sincerity as is thy purpose, and the purity of motive in thy dealings with thy fellow men, be measured to thee from the source of truth and light, as ye measure it to thy fellow men.
