Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1355].

2. Now, as we find, there are rather the complications of conditions, and many of those in the physical functionings of organs are the effects of these complexities and complications that have arisen.

3. Thus with the correction of those things that have been the basic causes of the disturbance, we would find many of these being relieved; though they do not appear to be minor conditions, and are not - but, the applications have at times caused much more trouble than benefits.

4. For they have been aggravating to the conditions, allowing same to become contributory to disturbances in some of the functioning organs.

5. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body in the present:

6. As has been indicated, some great distresses are existent, but these will disappear as the correct helpful forces are applied - as we find with this body.

7. First, then, in the Blood Supply:

8. Here we find some of the causes, as well as many of the effects produced in other portions of the body.

9. Or to begin in another direction, the basic condition, as we find, is a pressure in the lumbar AND lower dorsal areas, and might be indicated if there were an X-Ray made of this particular portion.

10. This would not be amiss, for the very vibrations of the making of X-Ray would be beneficial. Then as we find, a form of electrical force is needed, but not in that particular form in the present.

11. The pressure upon the organs of assimilation, or as directed to the organs of assimilation as related in the hepatic circulation, has produced first an excess or a weight in the body that is of a superficial nature, and not a natural condition - by an excess of lymph and emunctory

1355-1 Page 2

circulation; so that many portions of the body as related to organic functioning have become so engorged as to produce a great excess of poisons in the system.

12. Thus, through the re-poisoning, as it were, the organs are affected - as of the pelvis, and the kidneys become involved.

13. Hence the pressures to the lower limbs, through the trunk portion of the body, the excesses to the liver secretion and activity in the attempts to eliminate the poisons.

14. Then the more so the pressures upon the cerebrospinal nervous system, breaking coordination between the centers especially in the upper portion of the dorsal area, affect the sensory forces; especially the IMPULSES - and the vision, the taste, and ALL of these activities; until the body becomes so that over portions of the eyes themselves there is the forming of a skin, as it were. Not cataracts, no; but rather a thickening of the coverings that have made for pressures about these.

15. Now these are effects, you see; for the condition has been of long-standing and produces what in common terms would be called a form of bloating throughout the system, or the effect of softening of the tissues about the kidneys; or the activities that do not allow the uremic poisoning, or the urea, to be extracted from the circulation. Hence this is carried back, and has gradually produced then this disturbing condition throughout the body.

16. Oftentimes those things that have been easily digested become hard to digest, or turn upon the system.

17. Hence we see how the bloodstream has become involved, how the organs in the system have been hindered in producing their proper functioning. Little of the glandular forces are nominal in their activity. The liver, the spleen, the pancreas, the kidneys all become involved; then naturally the organs through which these excesses of activities pass become involved also.

18. The nervous system becomes almost as incoordinant. Nerve reactions that are voluntary become involuntary, as in vision - besides that as produced there.

19. As we find, then, to begin - we would first give as this:

20. It will be necessary, to be sure, to keep some portions of those elements that have been taken for rest, for quiet, for the easing of distresses; but gradually as these become effective (the applications that are to be given or suggested here), leave off the others and adhere to these suggestions; letting these rather assume gradually the whole

applications; taking ten days, two weeks to three weeks to change entirely to these applications.

21. Begin first by gathering the green Mullein and making Stupes. Such Stupes would be applied each evening for about three or four days only across the lower lumbar and extending to the lower portion of the kidneys. These will change the eliminations; this may be expected. There may be caused indeed at times some little pain, when the kidneys are active, or when the bladder is emptied; yet these should be kept for three or four days here. When the next three or four days apply the same character of Stupes just above the shoulder blades or between the 1st and 2nd dorsal and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical. Each application should be for an hour, and change the application - or the heating of same - about every twenty minutes, or three times during the hour, see?

22. These, as we find, will change then the tendency for temperature.

23. To equal portions of Life Everlasting (in the crude form; the herb) and Mullein; or to 1 ounce of each of these, put 4 ounces of Distilled Water. Do not allow to boil, but let come almost to a boil. Then let set until almost cool. Strain off and add to same, in the order named: Pure Grain Alcohol...................1/2 ounce, Elixir of Lactated Pepsin............1/4 ounce. This solution then is to be taken as a tonic, as a medicine; about half a teaspoonful every four hours. To be sure, do not arouse from sleep or rest to give this.

24. Begin with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance as an addition for the rest, and the Wet Cell Appliance for the low electrical vibrations. These should be kept until we have changed or turned those activities of the kidneys, changed the effect of the activities through the spleen, the pancreas, the liver and the eliminations from the kidneys; or until about the first whole quantity of the tonic (with the Mullein and Life Everlasting) is taken. And then we will give further instructions.

25. For these hot applications will change the muscular forces so that proper adjustments may be made, and then changed activities are to be given for bettering of the conditions.

26. In the diet, while the foods should be sustaining they should be free from fats of any nature. Not that there are not to be strengthening foods, but not those of fatty natures. No butter. No hog meat, ever. Only such meats as

1355-1 Page 4

fowl, fish or lamb. Do not eat cereals and citrus fruits at the same meal, but almost each day (but not on days cereals are taken) let there be taken at least four to six to eight ounces of citrus fruit juices; orange juice, grapefruit or lemon juice. Better that the orange juice and lemon juice be combined, the grapefruit juice alone. This should be a strong portion of the diet. Not too much of the leafy vegetables. This may sound like a variation from the usual recommendation, but we are to create a varied effect here. Pod vegetables, as beans or peas or the like, should be more the type of vegetables taken. Sweet potatoes, the jackets of Irish potatoes, and any of the tuberous - as carrots, onions, salsify, celery, beets, radish - all of these may be a portion of the diet - more than others of the more leafy nature.

27. The applications of the Radio-Active Appliance should be to the opposite extremities of the body.

28. When the Wet Cell Appliance is used (both the Appliances should be used each day, the Radio-Active Appliance in the evening when the body is ready for retiring, the Wet Cell each morning - preferably nine, ten, eleven o'clock; the Radio-Active Appliance for at least sixty minutes or an hour, and the Wet Cell Appliance for only thirty minutes) - when the Wet Cell Appliance is used, let the body lie upon the right side when this is given. The attachments would be made in this manner:

29. The smaller plate would be attached first, to the 4th lumbar; while the larger plate, passing through a solution of Atomidine (full strength), would be attached last - to the umbilicus and lacteal duct center; or just over the lower edge of the gall duct area.

30. Do these and then we may give the further instructions.

31. Ready for questions.

32. (Q) Should the Mullein Stupes be continued throughout the whole period? (A) Should be continued throughout the whole period; three to four days over the lumbar area, as indicated, from the lower portion, you see, or across a portion of the sacral to the lower portion of the kidneys, or to the 10th dorsal, three to four days; then for three to four days from the 2nd and 3rd dorsal to the 1st and 2nd cervical.

33. (Q) In changing the Stupes during the hour, should a new Mullein supply be used, or the same supply reheated? (A) The same may be reheated, but each day the Mullein should be new; and as this is beginning to show in its growing, use fresh Mullein. Break it, use it with water - not too much water it is put in, but let the Mullein be

1355-1 Page 5

almost directly on the skin, or only a thin gauze between the skin and the Mullein, you see, so it may be held in place. Do these, and we may give the further instructions; for, being consistent and persistent, we may bring a great deal of relief and a great deal of help for this body.
