1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1362].

2. In giving the interpretations of that which has been builded innately and manifestedly in the experience of this entity, the urges are given - and the influences producing the manifested urges, or the urges arising innately and the urges that arise from the emotions of the present physical entity.

3. As the entity has experienced sojourns in the earth, these are as the emotions - or the vibratory forces in the physical activities in materiality; while the sojourns in the interims between the earthly sojourns make for the experiences which become as mental or innate urges.

4. Then, the astrological aspects become as signs, or as directions from which and through which the whole entity or soul entity has experienced these that become as influences in the present.

5. As we find from the astrological aspects, then, Jupiter is a ruling influence; making for that in which the entity may find itself emotionally or actively as an influence that must act upon great numbers of peoples, or groups, or the masses.

6. Yet the influences from the entity's sojourn in Saturn, and the adverse influence in Venus, make for contrariwise experiences as it were in the very ennobling forces that arise in the entity's experience.

7. Hence we find these as conflicting forces; that as arises from the application of self in the Saturn and the Venus force with the higher influence in the Jupiterian force.

8. In Mercury we find one making for the high mental abilities; one becoming very capable in whatever field of

1362-1 Page 2

activity or endeavor in which the entity's mental and soul self finds material expression.

9. Then to succeed or to make for more than what is ordinarily termed material success becomes the dominating force.

10. If there is the application of self in the proper directions, and if the influence of Will - the ever changing factor - is applied in constructive forces ever, in the moral, in the mental, in the material associations, we will find those abilities, those qualities that have been experienced and as developed in Mercury and in Jupiter becoming the dominating forces.

11. Thus may there be brought in the material experience of the entity in the present the harmonious associations, material gains, and a constructive experience for the benefits and service of the many.

12. How, then, may the entity apply self in these directions?

13. As is seen from the earthly sojourns, there are - as indicated - definite urges that arise to become detrimental at times; owing to the application of will - detrimental to the very high sensitive mental and spiritual forces of the entity's abilities.

14. These we see arise from the application of self in the earthly sojourns.

15. Then, the purposes, the import of the earthly sojourn of each soul is to meet self, to overcome those weaknesses in self, and become more and more adaptable to the spiritual truths that are a part of each and every entity.

16. For what gain is there in the experience of a soul to gain the world in fame, in fortune, in social relationships, and to lose self's own soul?

17. For the soul is continuous. Life IS, in constructive forces - or that ye call God.

18. Hence to do in a material way those things that are in material emotions the fruits of the spirit of truth, fits or qualifies or makes for those experiences in the emotions, in the innate forces of the mental and material self, for a closer and closer union with the Creative Forces or God.

19. Then to manifest patience, as well as persistence, to manifest brotherly love, to manifest that of long-suffering when there is known that the ideal and the purpose is right, is building that which is the schooling, the training, the qualifying for closer walks with God.

20. So until each soul, each entity, knows those closer walks, there must be, there are, turmoils - in the experience of every soul; more and more mental, more and

1362-1 Page 3

more material turmoils.

21. But to be at peace, to be in harmony with constructive, creative forces, is to know Him that IS the way, that is life, and in Him ye live and move and have thy being!

22. As to the experiences in the earth, while not great in numbers, these have been very definite, very definite activities, and have - as will be seen - the influences upon the emotions; and many of those turmoils arise from same.

23. Before this we find the entity was in the earth during those periods known as the American Revolution, during those activities when Howe was in and about those portions of the entity's present nativity, and activity.

24. The entity then was what would be termed today the Intelligence part of the campaigns made by Howe. Hence the entity was of the British forces, and we will find in those activities in the present the tending toward those things that were longed for, hoped for during those periods of sojourn and activity - the communications, the use of the elements of the material plane for the very activity.

25. Hence things as pertain to the manifestations of Life itself - or electrical forces - in the relationships to the communicative forces should be, and are, the field in which the entity may find the greater sojourn in the present for satisfying that longing, for developing mentally, materially, yea spiritually.

26. For the basis of communications is that between the creator, the created, even in its material analysis; or that in the spiritual realm between the external influences upon the mental and spiritual man, and the relationships of man to his fellow men - these become as one and the same.

27. For as man IS in image the creation of the divine, as ye do to thy fellow man ye do to thy Maker. As He has given, "Inasmuch as ye do it unto the least of these, my brethren, ye do it unto me."

28. During the experience the entity gained and lost; for the entity turned much of those associations in the material life into justification for that to be gained as would be advantageous to those whom the entity served, without respect of that it brought in the experience of those from whom the entity gained such information or knowledge.

29. The name then was James H. Proctor. Hence the entity may find in its experience, as every entity finds (and this more decidedly), he is the father of his own self, meeting his own SELF, in this material plane!

30. These become then as few that we have experienced here, the greater periods in which gain and loss was experienced by the entity and is influencing the entity in this present

1362-1 Page 4

sojourn.

31. Hence troubles of mind, troubles of financial associations or activity, troubles as to the social and the moral life, to the entity become greater barriers and greater helps, greater disputes, greater disturbances, yet - with their proper application - greater helpful experiences.

32. Hence we will find in the present sojourn (from that activity in that particular land, for the entity was born then in Havereham (?)) friendships and associates are not to be abused but used.

33. Hence the greater friendships that have in the present experience been a part of the entity's activity, where they have turned - or the entity turned from those associations, have brought greater disturbances.

34. The loves, the activities in the social life, the activities in the marital life, make for disturbing forces. Duties of either portion of such experience seem to be lost sight of in the moment of SELF-WILL, self-expression!

35. KNOW, self is the only excuse. Self is the only sin; that is, selfishness - and all the others are just a modification of that expression of the ego. But so close is the ego, the I Am, to the GREAT I AM, THAT I AM, that the confusions of duty and privilege and opportunity become so enmeshed in the experience of the entity.

36. And so great are the abilities of the entity to make of this experience a GLORY for the living God, that to fail would be indeed calamitous in the experience of this soul!

37. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Promised Land, during those periods when there was the return from captivity to the rebuilding of the walls and the temple in Jerusalem.

38. The entity then was not of that peoples now called the Jews, but rather of the Persians; being then a nephew of Artaxerxes, and of the household of the rulers of that land, yet so closely associated, so closely active with those forces under Nehemiah that the entity was the representative then of the Persian peoples that went with Nehemiah for those activities in suppressing the influences that had arisen that caused the stopping of the rebuilding of the walls.

39. So again we find the entity associated in what would be called in the present, means, ways and manners of communications for messages that must be sent to those in authority in Babylon, those in Abiel (?).

40. There may be yet discovered those activities of THIS entity, Axterern, in the excavations that are being made in portions of what - is called Mesopotamia, for the means for

1362-1 Page 5

preservation of messages - that was a part of the entity's activity.

41. In the experience the entity gained, because of those promptings of the King to let those peoples go that cried for a means of expression, a means to return to the material activities in a spiritual service to that as was held by them to be the way and means of serving their God; for these became as a purposefulness in the material activity of the entity in that experience.

42. Hence those latent forces that make for the tenderness - as may be called - in the entity's experience; the tenderness of heart, and the willingness to listen to a sad story, the ability to make those expressions of sympathy - not only in words but in deeds.

43. Hence if this portion of the entity's innate self is developed the more, and given the greater expression, we may find renewed friendships, renewed relations to this experience that will bring in the inmost self the greater joy, the greater happiness, the greater blessings for this experience of the entity.

44. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were the correlations of activities by the teachers of many lands.

45. The entity was among those who followed closely with the Priest into banishment and returned, and made for those activities by the emissaries to the various lands.

46. Thus there was brought about a teaching, an aiding, a helping in those activities and expressions.

47. The name then was Al-Teshept.

48. In the experience the entity gained and lost and gained.

49. As to the activities from same in the present - the travel, the various characterizations of thought and purposes are often analyzed by the entity.

50. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

51. As has been given, so great are the possibilities, so great are the abilities of the entity to accomplish - not merely materially, not merely mentally, but in the practical application of the spirit of truth; and yet at times these seem so far afield to the entity.

52. For the entity has in the turmoils that have arisen lost sight of the proper evaluation of experiences, of the activities in its relationships to individuals, to groups, and to those to whom there is a duty not only in self but that they, too, with whom the entity is associated, may know the truth that will set them FREE from worry, tears, sorrow, sadness! Not by the mere material things of life but that

1362-1 Page 6

which has made and does and will ever make for harmony in the experience.

53. Then, first study to show thyself approved unto God within. KNOW ye may know Him within thyself. All power, all love, all faith, all hope, all honor, all grace, all mercy, is within Him - and He hath promised to meet thee within thine own SELF. Then as ye study to show thyself approved unto the better within thyself, He will show thee the way. For His promises are SURE, and are within thine own self. For He has given, "Say not who will ascend into heaven that we may hear or know of God, or who will come from over the seas to bring us a message that we may know; for Lo, He is in thine own heart!"

54. As ye would then that men would do to you, do ye even so to them. As ye would that thy God would be patient, be thou patient with thy neighbor, yea with thine enemy - for in so doing ye heap coals of fire upon thine enemy and make thine own self happy in doing GOOD unto others. For as ye do to others, ye do to thy Maker.

55. Thy field of service to thy fellow men, as has been indicated, becomes in the fields of communication; that deal with the radio and every form of communication; and a closer association with the national and international fields of operative forces will bring thee greater happiness in LENDING of thyself, for it becomes a portion of thyself - and will make for an outlet where the material gains may come.

56. But first KNOW ye the Lord, for the cattle and the gold and the silver are His, and all ye have is lent ye of the Lord! Only that ye give away, of self, of money, of time, of patience, of love, do ye possess!

57. For if ye would have life, give life! If ye would have friends, BE friendly! If ye would have loved ones, love others, do good to them though they may despitefully use you; for they did that unto thy Lord and Master.

58. In the application of self in the fields of activity, draw nigh unto that which is good and it will draw nigh unto thee.

59. Ready for questions.

60. (Q) Please advise me as to the present stability of my position with the ... Electric Co. Is there an opportunity to realize a satisfactory future there, or should I make a change? (A) As we find, as has been indicated, this has been and may be used as a stepping-stone to greater opportunities, greater possibilities for the associations with communication fields rather than those of COMMERCIAL lines in the electrical forces - that offer the greater

1362-1 Page 7

opportunities. And ways and means are being opened that as we find will bring about an association of that nature. For soon, as has been so oft given from here, there must be a closer association with the telegraph, the radio and the telephone communications. Hence as all of these have been through the many ages, through the many experiences of this entity, this soul, thy study, thy desire, thy wishes, thy activity - to give expression in same in the present offers the greater opportunities for advancement materially. But in thine advancement let this warning be: Think not only of material gains, but of how great a service ye may be to thy fellow man! For if ye serve the masses, the individuals, without thought of self save as for service, ye serve thy Maker.

61. (Q) Having desired to be re-associated with [...] with whom I was previously connected, when and how should I best continue my negotiations and contacts with [...]? (A) As has been indicated, there are - as we find - those conditions being brought about in which there may be closer and better associations; and in the application of self greater opportunities. As to how soon, keep those negotiations open - and prepare self, in thought, in body, in mind, for ready, active service in same.

62. (Q) How can I best adjust my upset financial affairs due to the depression? (A) Just as has been indicated again, go to those whom thou owest obligations - and those things that materially demand consideration. Give the explanation, give the thought to same. ASK and ye will receive the opportunities for being able to meet them in thy service for others. Not speculating, not calling on advantageous positions that ye would clear self; but know, only they that are able to suffer are able to know glory, to know peace, to know harmony. These may sound at first only as idealistic sayings, but if ye turn within and ask of thy better self ye will find the answer there.

63. (Q) Would it be possible to negotiate some loan whereby these obligations can be pooled, rather than all mixed up? (A) As we find, as soon as there is definite (and permanent) connection made with communications, this very condition CAN be consummated and give self the opportunity to meet same in a way and manner that would be satisfactory

1362-1 Page 8

to all.

64. (Q) Is it possible and right, and will happiness result if a reconciliation can be made with my divorced wife? (A) These conditions offer problems that become of a different nature. There are others that are a part of that association - the offspring. If the ability is found within self to show to those of the own flesh the need, not only as a need but that of fatherly counsel, that of fatherly advice, then this - and through these, and through their very needs - may be brought about. For there is none so bad that there is not that desire for the fatherly counsel, the fatherly advice. For it is part of the very natures of every soul; and if this is first accomplished, then there maybe brought about a reconciliation with the wife that will make for a happiness that has not yet been experienced, even in the heydey of material successes in which this union first began. For as has been given, first studying to show thyself approved unto God, ye will find in that study of self not only duty but opportunity to those souls that have through thy material, yea thy spiritual love, been given an opportunity for expression in this mundane sphere. Ye have realized thy duty, ye have realized thine obligation. SELF, self-indulgence, self-neglect - not as condemning thyself, but rather as He hath given, "When ye call I will hear, for I will be thy God." In that attitude then approach first the son, the daughter; then as in that attitude there may be created first the bond of sympathy that has been so broken down by that considered by them as neglect, as indifference, as "don't care," and be overcome. This is meeting self; and in doing so it will create that Attitude of mind, that inmost purpose of self to be in the fields of thy ability of greater service to thy fellow men. May the law of the Lord be made of real effect in thy life. Bless the Lord, for in Him ye will find strength of mind, of judgement, of purpose; and in Him alone ye may put thy trust!
