Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:50 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Nebraska. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have had the body here before.

2. As we find, there are decided changes for the better - in the general physical conditions of the body.

3. There is still much to be desired, however, as we find. Hence:

4. We would continue with the Wet Cell Appliance, recharging same and keeping the anodes clean, and the attachments secure - though not binding.

5. The rubs and the massages we would keep up.

6. Also we find it is well that there be occasionally the deep or more thorough manipulations, osteopathically. These will tend to make for the better coordination of the nervous system, as well as the reaction that will tend to keep down the inclinations towards hysteria, as well as to insure that there may be the usefulness of the body in its physical reaction - and coordination of the locomotory forces in the system.

7. We would give such osteopathic treatments in periods; that is, two or three times a week for two or three weeks, and then a rest period from same of a week to two weeks, and then another series. These allow the body to react to the vitality created in the system and not become reliant upon the general manipulations for the carrying on of the physical activities in the body.

8. To be sure, those inclinations where the heart's block tendency has produced an uneasiness would, as we find, be materially relieved by the removing mechanically (osteopathically) of pressures along the cerebrospinal system. Necessarily, the manipulative forces must be GENTLY done, especially in the first series of treatments.

9. It is necessary, to be sure, to keep the proper eliminations, and to occasionally have a cleansing of the colon when there is the inclination for scant evacuation - even though there may be activities through the alimentary canal. For naturally with excess poisons being thrown off

(and this is the means for the system eliminating same in a great measure), these then are necessary to be kept; not as a strain but as a means of purifying the system and allowing the constructive vital forces to exert themselves.

10. For, as has so oft been given, ALL healing forces and influences are constructive and are thus of the Divine influence. The applications then that may be made ONLY assist in alleviating; through whatever manner of means may be used, these only assist in alleviating the distressed areas and in adding to the system the influences that may - through constructive forces - materialize in active forces throughout the body.

11. Hence all the more necessity of this body keeping as OPTIMISTIC and CHEERFUL as is possible under the existent conditions.

12. Follow those suggestions, then, as indicated.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) Is there a permanent involvement of the motor nerves? (A) This will depend, to be sure, upon the responses and the clearing of the system from the hindrances that produce the disturbance.

15. (Q) Is there any indications of Hysteria?. (A) As indicated, there are those tendencies and inclinations. Hence as the body finds, it is better (and make the inclinations by the desire to do) to act or exercise as much in the open as possible. Not by overtaxing, but have those purposes for the activity; and these will not only make for the changing of the attitude but aid in the physical activities.

16. (Q) Should the exercise be walking more? (A) Walking more, as is possible.

17. (Q) Are the Wet Cell treatments for restoring the nerves to their normal functions? (A) The Wet Cell Appliance is for restoring the activity of the glandular system as to produce cooperation and coordination between the superficial and the deeper nerve and blood circulation.

18. (Q) How long would you advise him to wait before returning to work? (A) This, to be sure, would depend upon the desires and the inclinations and the abilities of the body. Know that while this condition of the body is long standing, and it has affected the body in the deeper senses, there is not the necessity nor the need for the body REMAINING in an inactive condition.

19. We are through with this Reading.
