Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1364].
2. As we find, the disturbances that arise, causing the greater distress, are from the hepatic circulation - or such a disturbance in the assimilating forces and the activities of the liver as to disturb the circulation between the liver and the heart; causing a fullness - and an uneven flow or activity in these directions, or a fullness.
3. Hence the pressures to the ganglia that supply circulation to the bronchi and trachea are such as to produce a sympathetic cough, or reaction in the throat, the bronchi and the trachea.
4. These to be sure cause poor eliminations throughout the whole of the system, making for a slow activity in eliminations, disturbing at times the digestion and the appetite becomes poor; there are the tendencies for an incoordination with the circulation through the kidneys.
5. All of these combine to make for the distresses through the whole of the circulatory system.
6. As we would find then, in bringing the help for this body:
7. We would first have an adjustment osteopathically at least every other day; not too deep and not so much to make for too deep and not so much to make for too great a strain upon any portion of the system but as to make for the muscular adjustments (or massaging) through the abdominal area and over those areas particularly of the liver.
8. Make particular and specific manipulations through the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area, making for a general coordination of same in the lower lumbar area.
9. Then as the adjustments and as the activities are made for the better eliminations, under the direction of the one that makes the adjustments the diet and the activity should be given.
10. To aid in making for a better activity through the

sympathetic forces in the throat, the bronchi and larynx, we would prepare a compound that will act locally and will coordinate with the adjustments - if the applications are made in the manner as has been indicated. Prepare in the manner given, adding the ingredients in the order given.
11. To 4 ounces of Distilled Water add 2 ounces of Strained Honey. Let this come to a boil. Skim off the refuse. Then when this is not entirely cold but some cooler, to be sure, add 1 1/2 ounces of Grain Alcohol. To this as the carrier, then, add - in the order named: Syrup of Horehound.....................1/2 ounce, Syrup of Rhubarb.......................1/4 ounce, Glycerine...............................10 minins, Chloroform...............................5 minins. Shake the solution well before the dose is taken, which would be a teaspoonful - that may be taken every hour, but take ONLY when the irritation in the throat is severe, or the cough.
12. These as we find if they are followed should bring help for this body, [1364].
13. Ready for questions.
