1. EC: Yes, we have the entity, those records of that entity now called [1367].

2. In giving the interpretation of the records as we find here, they seem somewhat confusing. For there is the tendency in the present for a complex.

3. These as we find from the summation of the astrological and the material sojourns, as innate and as manifesting influences in the experience, are given - but they are irrespective of will, that factor which in the application of same makes for those things that arise in manifested form as disturbing forces or as those that make for the awareness of constructive forces being as applicable as destructive forces in the experience.

4. Hence it is an activity in coordinating the mental abilities of an entity.

5. The entity is one as we find with a mathematical turn of mind.

6. Hence those things pertaining to athletics or out of door activity should be stressed rather than that part of the development which is a confining force in the experience.

7. For there is the tendency for the entity to have the attitude as of one carrying a chip upon its shoulder, as it were; hence taking offense or having resentments when none is intended.

8. Thus there is the innate tendency for the entity to feel alone, or not understood.

9. The entity innately tends naturally to be of a sympathetic and loving disposition, but makes for the appearance in purpose towards being cold, austere, with sentiment as only a thing to be spoken of but not a reality.

10. Hence we shall see the necessities then for the gentleness, and not too stern a manner or mien in the experiences of those who would aid the entity to find its better self, and to find its place in activity.

1367-1 Page 2

11. So we will find the fields of activity better for the entity that have to do with the outdoors, and those things of a general sympathetic nature; conditions where there are the opportunities for the expression of sympathy, love, understanding.

12. From the astrological innate experiences that manifest, and from the sojourns in the earth, we may see or draw conclusions as to WHY.

13. Yet all of these influences, as we have so oft given, are but inclinations. For what one sets as its ideal in the spiritual realm and applies self in that direction may change the outlook, the experiences, and what one may make of its experience in the earth.

14. From the astrological sojourns we find Venus and Saturn in the adverse influence, as combined with Jupiter.

15. Hence we will find that those things having to do with great numbers of peoples, as to their thought, their intention, their activity, are subjects of interest. For as has been indicated, the general nature is for a benevolent influence; yet adverse forces that arise from those experiences of the entity in the earth, with the Venus force as in adverse with Saturn, make for those tendencies for dreaming; imaginative, and feeling hurt when none is intended.

16. Thus the greater necessity for the entity's activities to be in environs where there are the opportunities for the expressing of sympathy, to be in the position where the entity will have others depending upon the entity, and where there is required the activity of the entity for expressing that bond of sympathy that may bring the greater beauty - as with horses, dogs, birds, flowers; any of those things where there are the needs for that love, sympathy, understanding to be expressed by the entity for the bringing out as it were of the better points, the better activities of that dependent upon the entity.

17. Those things pertaining to what would be called by some as the higher arts. But what is meant by high? Rather the means for the expressing of beauty, love, sympathy, patience, longsuffering, brotherly love. In whatever state, in whatever position one may find one's self, if these are given expression they will bring harmony, peace and understanding in the experience. For they are of that which brings better association with the spirituality that is manifested through the doing of such.

18. As to the sojourns in the earth, these we find have been tended towards those things that make for questionings in the experience of the entity; as to why individuals do this

1367-1 Page 3

or the other - and the general term is, as to the entity in the thought, that whosoever does such - whether in that called the Christian life or the religious life - does so to gain or to escape something, rather than being willing to meet their own selves.

19. The demands of the entity are that each soul conform rather to the entity's standard. But has the entity set its standard that it keeps itself? Self-analysis, self-STUDY - and application in the experience of thy ideal. What is thy ideal? Then act in that way and manner towards others, as is to self the ideal way and manner in which others should act towards the self!

20. Before this we find the entity lived in the earth during that period when there were those disturbances in Salem and about Provincetown, when there was the questioning of those because of their experiences in what was termed familiar spirits; when those that even made for an activity that made a question brought certain activities of a stern Puritanic influence in those peoples of that experience.

21. The entity then, in the name Mary Ann Hatton, brought severe questioning; and separations from those upon whom the entity depended, and who had promised as it were to the entity to remain in an individual attitude as respecting experiences and conditions in relationships to the own sex and of the opposite.

22. Hence we find while there are types or characters of friendships, the social life, the social experiences of the entity - according to the appearances as from others - do not bring a normal reaction.

23. These arise from those very things that were experienced and that are a portion of the entity innately and through the emotional forces, as in the sense perception.

24. The ideals of the entity are high. Apply self in the OWN ideal to influence rather than demanding in others an ideal.

25. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Holy Land, just after there had been those experiences of the personal teachings of the Master - when there was builded in the hearts and minds of many the attitude that material rebellion meant spiritual separation, and that spiritual separation meant material rebellion; or during those days when the church in Jerusalem and in Caesarea Philippi was being persecuted because of those activities on the part of those who were adherents to same.

26. The entity was young in years when it lost its life by those exposures in fleeing from the persecutions.

27. Hence there is an innate tendency, when there are

1367-1 Page 4

disturbances, for the entity to desire to change, to "forget it," to get away from it. Yet these must ever be met.

28. In each experience the activity of a soul is for its closer walk, closer communion with the Creative Forces or God in its dealings with the fellow man.

29. Running away from same only prolongs the mental and material torture, and does not aid the mental and spiritual-mental self towards development, but creates fear - and that activity that finds expression in sarcasm and irony; that finds expression at times in the entity as regarding conditions, experiences in even individuals.

30. The name then was Helene, and the entity gained and lost and gained.

31. But in the present the gain may be the greater if there will be set within self rather the spiritual ideal, and let others do as they may, but as for self - it will hold fast to that which is good; which means doing good to others, in little ways, in preferences, in gentlenesses, in kindnesses, even when these may be questioned by others.

32. Know, though, not only in what but in WHOM ye have believed. For ye hold individualities and personalities as ideals. Do not worship personalities; rather that individuality as was manifested by Hannah, by Elkanah, by Abigail, by the mother of the Lord, by the Holy Women - Elois and Mary and Martha and Lydia; those whose beauty of aid and help brought to them not only material disturbances at times but hope and harmony and peace and beauty.

33. That these in self may find expression in the animal kingdom, in its beginnings, may not be amiss. For Life as it manifests, whether in the grass, the rose, the tree, the dog, the cat, the bird, the animal, IS a manifestation of that ye worship as God.

34. HOLD FAST to that love of LIFE for its beauty that it may bring in harmonious experiences!

35. Before that we find the entity was in the land known as the Persian and Arabian, during that period when many came from other lands for the teachings, the understandings in the 'city in the hills and the plains.'

36. The entity then was of that land now known as or called the Grecian, and an exponent of those activities of the early Grecians in beauty of body and in the worship of same.

37. Hence personalities again enter into the experience and consciousness of the entity, yet should be turned aside as in that experience.

38. For when the entity came under the influence of the teacher Uhjltd in that land, it turned into that expression for not only the healing of the body but for the aiding of

1367-1 Page 5

others in finding hope and faith, finding that to which it might give itself in an expression of service in some manner - as the entity did in the 'city in the hills and the plains,' and brought to itself and to others a greater, broader vision of the beauties of living.

39. The name then was Teopan, and the entity gained throughout.

40. Hence in the application of self in those activities of like manner, with those ideals founded in spiritual self, may it find beauty and harmony in the present.

41. Many of those things that are of the natures as of the outdoors, as those things that bring changes and expressions - as in the innate activities, arise from those experiences.

42. But holding fast to a spiritual ideal may bring the greater happiness in this experience.

43. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land, when turmoils arose - when there were those activities of the rebellious forces that brought about the banishment of the Priest, and those turmoils that arose later.

44. The entity was among those of the household of one of the Counselors to the King, and of the Native peoples - but wedded then to one of those who came from the Persian land, or what is now the Persian or Caucasian land.

45. In the experience the entity gained, for the sympathy was with the Priest in the beginning. With the return and those activities that dealt with the Atlanteans, when there were the buildings and there was the use of all of those mechanical means - whether applied to measurement, to the discoveries for the movements of those activities about the earth in the buildings and the cutting of stones, in the preparations for the activities as brought about the establishing of what became now what would be known as hospitals and schools - the entity was among those who laid the plans for many of those; counseling with the leaders and the Priest and the King in those later experiences.

46. Then great were the joys of those who came under the influence of the entity's activity during that sojourn, as Bar-Shar-Pht.

47. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

48. First, analyze self. Know that the world, the peoples, the environs are what ye make same yourself and whether that which has been set before thee comes within thine own desire or not, if ye will keep true to self, to the ideals of a spiritual life, it will bring in the experience the greater happiness, the greater peace, the greater harmony.

49. Do not hold resentments. Do not let the imaginative

1367-1 Page 6

influence of hurts bring discouragements - but what is thy desire toward thy activity in the earth? Then be the BEST of that there IS, the best to thy ability; and let the purpose ever be set, "USE THOU ME, O HOLY ONE!" rather than "GIVE - GIVE - GIVE" but "BLESS THAT I MAY GIVE."

50. Ready for questions.

51. (Q) Should I return to Smith College next fall? (A) Not unless the curriculum and those activities are in keeping with that self purposes to do, no.

52. (Q) Where would be the best place for me to go? (A) In whatever environ that fits one best for that work, that activity as is chosen by self. Rather in the training of those as about self; that is, like has been indicated; whether in that more inclined to a mechanical activity; or a study of things in detail, as of minutia, as of the findings in scientific investigation, or scientific investigation of truths of any nature. Then those places or conditions that best fit self for such are the better.

53. (Q) For what specific life work should I fit myself? (A) In either of those fields as just indicated. Either as a keeper or trainer of animals or pets, or in a more SCIENTIFIC investigation of detail or minutia - as a physiotherapist helper or aide, or a scientist's helper or aide - or a scientist itself.
