Time of Reading 11:05 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions which have been submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now as we find, there are changes; and these if taken advantage of in the present may be turned into that in which the better physical activities may be brought about.

4. Each day, then, we would give the body a gentle massage, - not so much the corrective measures osteopathically, except occasionally; that is, if there is the massage to produce a better activity of the muscles and tendons that have been under stress and strain through the operative forces. Thus we may bring the better forces for the body.

5. This will naturally be a gradual change, and will be inclined to be as a growth - that is, the inclination will be to grow OUT of the disturbance, see? For the body is still in the developing periods.

6. Unless such is done, we may not have ever the full use of the limbs, owing to the static as may come about in the present manner of activity.

7. This, then, we would do. As to how soon there would be the better activity, this depends upon how well the body responds; also as to how well the massage, the manipulation, is given.

8. For the massaging we would use an equal combination of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh, heating the oil to add the myrrh. This would not be merely patted on, or just smoothed over, but painstakingly, patiently, massage about the whole of the sacral and the areas about the end of the upper portion of the thigh where there are those connections with the pelvic area.

9. This we would do consistently, persistently, each day for at least a few minutes.

10. And occasionally - twice a month - we would have the osteopathic treatment to insure the one making the daily

massage that the limb is kept in its correct position.

11. The rest we would keep; also the braces as necessary at times; and keep the general physical body functioning in a normal manner.

12. Thus we may bring the better forces for this body.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What benefit has the body received from the operation? (A) It is yet to be gained, by the better use of the limb, see?

15. (Q) What is present condition of hips? (A) As just indicated. Do as has been indicated, if we would bring the better forces for this body.

16. We are through for the present. Two copies to Mrs. [...] (one for Mr. [257]) Copy to Ass'n file
