1. GC: You will have Dr. [1397] at ... St., N.Y.C., and her associations and the property which I will describe. You will go over the property and tell us the various formations, oil sands, and amount of production available to drilling, giving depths. This property as shown is a subdivision of parts of Porcion Seventy-two (72), Los Territos, Santa Ana and El Gato Grants in Hidalgo County, Texas, which said parcel contains about 2500 acres, more or less, as shown by the recorded plat of said subdivision, which includes the parts thereof underlying roadways and canals. Property - 8 miles South of Alamo, Texas on the border of the Rio Grande - the property is marked in blocks with large letters, and the smaller letters - the sub-divisions. Please designate drilling locations from large circle marked "X" in the circle on the map present in this room. [Map ret'd with the reading.] It is owned by Dr. [1397] of the Santa Ana Groves Corporation, Alamo, Texas. After giving the general information, please answer these questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the property here, as indicated, and Dr. [1397]. These in their associations and connections we have had here before.

3. There are many conditions to be considered in making these properties as developing or as producing properties. The indicated as we have had heretofore were in reference to individuals and activities, and the complications as might arise from same. Some of these have been cleared, some of these are still quite in question. A great many disturbing factors will arise when there is the attempt on the part of Dr. [1397] to clarify or clear these properties for operations.

4. As we have given heretofore, the LANDS themselves JUSTIFY operations; owing to their location and as to production which as we find, as indicated, is not such a great way from same - or five to eight (5 to 8) miles.

1397-3 Page 2

5. But unless these may be cleared in such a manner that the properties themselves may be SYNDICATED with other properties, we find it would be doubtful as to the developing - for the amount that is here.

6. Not that there is not sufficient production to be obtained. For we find the general lay of the South Texas fields, or this in this particular portion, is a part of the great supply - to the South and East, or in the Tampeco direction of Mexico. Yet these are of a higher quality, closer to the surface and more gas in many of the locations that might be made. But all of these SHOULD be considered in the proposition of considering these activities on this particular property for developments.

7. As we find, there is production - that is, oil and gas - in paying quantities. Great quantities of gas and a high, or at least a thirty-eight to forty (38 to 40) grade oil.

8. These would be then reached, as we find, by the considering of the cross strate. As is generally indicated, the activities in most of the Texas field - all Texas field - have and do run Northeast, Southwest. HERE they will be found - owing to the injection as it were of the uplifts to the West, that extend on into Mexico and even to the Isthmus to be a CROSS way that is entrapped in the cross sections, cross uplifts. And there is quite a variation as to the depth at which production would be obtained. This could be made a shallow field as well as an intermediate and deep producting field. Hence three folds or stratums, running from about eight seventy-five to forty-eight hundred (875 to 4800) feet. These are the difference strata, then - 875 - 789 to 875; and the 1800 to 2200 somewhat larger, not quite the same production; and the 3700 to 3800 to 4800 feet. These as to the various STRATA!

9. As to the character, the kind - as indicated there is a variation. Portions of this particular property in the WESTERN portion, extending to within a mile about the mark or the circle here, or to the South and East from the circle, are the areas where there are the indications of the fold from the West and Northwest - would be locations where production might be obtained in any of these.

10. As indicted, owing to the conditions that surround same, it should be SYNDICATED with other holdings where satisfactory arrangements could be made for the drilling or operations in the near future - or within the coming year - for these holdings to be made most productive.

11. Ready for questions.

12. (Q) Which location will be easiest to drill first to prove field quick?

1397-3 Page 3

(A) As indicated, about a mile from the mark as indicated to South and to West.

13. (Q) What formations will be penetrated as you go down? (A) As indicated, this depends upon which depth is to be considered. The upper strata as we find will NOT be of a greater depth than the 875. they may be used with rotary or spudder or standard. Either of these may be used. But as indicated, for the money, for the production, for the larger areas to be covered, it SHOULD be SYNDICATED with other holdings! As to whose these would be, this must be worked out by those with whom this is a part of their experience with same in the present!

14. (Q) How much capital will be required? (A) As indicated, not necessary for capital other than the settling of the holdings FOR this consideration with a syndicate.

15. (Q) Regarding location just given, what depth is producing sand to be found? (A) As indicated, 875 to 1800 to 2200 to 3800 to 4800!

16. (Q) From what persons can the necessary drilling money be obtained? (A) As indicated, this should be rather from syndicate than from individual operations - as WE find.

17. (Q) When should drilling be started? (A) As has been indicated.

18. (Q) What is the nearest production to this property? (A) As indicated.

19. (Q) Are there more easily acessible oil properties nearby this one? (A) This depends upon whether it is considered from the seeking of Dr. [1397] or from others!

20. (Q) What changes in present company set-up should be made by Dr. [1397], the owner? (A) As just indicated, it should be cleared so that there might be SYNDICATED activities - or combined with OPERATIVE organizations; for the BETTER and surer and the less expensive activity for Dr. [1397]!

21. (Q) Will [257] be able to render a service and aid by advice to Dr. [1397] in her desire to be successful in this development? (A) This depends upon the channel through which and how this may be handled. It's BEST that these be handled THROUGH those channels in which Dr. [1397] is already connected or associated!

22. We are through for the present. Copy to Self
