Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: (In undertone - "Yes - that's outside here")
2. We have the body, [1401].
3. Now as we find, in describing the abnormal disturbances, or abnormal conditions which produce disturbances, it might appear to some that most every portion was disturbed.
4. Yet as we find, when all the conditions are considered, it is that period through which the body is passing when there MUST be precautions about MANY things; as respecting the environs, the diets, the studies, and the physical reactions in the system.
5. For, in the present it is a GLANDULAR disturbance. Hence there might easily become an overbalanced condition in any one direction that would produce disturbances that would be the harder to correct for the body.
6. Those conditions of the high nervous tension, those conditions where the body is at the one moment - as it were - overjubilant -, overactive; at another tired, weary, with headaches, and aching through portions of the system - All are indications of the manner in which the disturbances are AFFECTING the activities of the organs as related to the glandular and the assimilating and eliminating systems.
7. Then, these are the precautions as we have indicated that must be taken respecting the body, [1401], in the present.
8. As we find, there is a deficiency in the red blood supply, and a tendency for the white to be at times overabundant, and at others quite a variation or very low.
9. Hence the condition in which the body, growing, tends to make for a strain upon the system.
10. The glandular forces as related to the thyroid, the thymus, the digestive forces - or about the lacteals, those through the adrenals, and those through the caecum area - All of these are in that condition where those precautions are necessary as to diet, as to activity, as to environs, as to the whole conditions of the system for the next six to eight months at least.

11. In giving that as we find that would be the most beneficial for the body:
12. Now before beginning with all of these, as we find it would be well to cleanse the system rather thoroughly because of the inclinations for the pinworm, or the strains through the alimentary canal that tend toward development owing to the lack of the vital forces through the system. These then cleansed from the system first would be very well.
13. To do this, then, we would - before beginning the other treatments - have one whole day, morning, noon and evening meal, with practically nothing save raw cabbage; this eaten slowly, chewed very, VERY well.
14. Then that evening take a dose of Santonin and Calomel with Vermifuge. This would be best prepared - that is, the proper dose - by a physician. And with these properties taken, there may NOT APPEAR a quantity at ALL of the worms, for the same will be reacted upon by the day's use and activity of the cabbage upon the system.
15. This, of course, will produce some little nausea. It will produce some little headaches. But let the body rest the day this is taken, and the next day.
16. And on the morrow AFTER the dosage of the Santonin and Calomel and Vermifuge has acted, or after the regular activities for the system through this manner, take then - for at least half a day - the Fletcher's Castoria, to cleanse all the effects of the Calomel from the system. Take about half a bottle; not at a dose, to be sure; but take about a teaspoonful every two hours until about half or two-thirds of the quantity is taken.
17. THEN begin with these:
18. We would first begin with giving the Halibut Oil with Viosterol at least twice each day; one capsule or tablet to be taken just after eating at the morning meal, and one after the evening meal - that is, two each day. Preferably take this with MALTED milk rather than raw milk, see? If it is more desirable to have the chocolate flavor, it would be very well - but have a full tumbler of the malted milk each time. These taken two each day for two to three weeks, then left off for a week and then taken again, will be MORE effective.
19. At least once each week we should have a thorough general massage; about once a week for a period of three to four weeks, and then a rest period from same of two to three weeks, and then another period of treatment for three to four weeks. Once a week should be sufficient, though the one making the adjustments may desire to do this oftener.
1401-2 Page 3
Once is sufficient if properly given. Those treatments of the neuropathic nature such as used by Stone would be very well.
20. Now as to the diet:
21. Mornings - whole wheat, crushed, and WELL, WELL cooked! Have this one, two or three mornings each week. On the other mornings (but never at the same meals when the cereals are taken) have citrus fruit juices - orange juice and grapefruit juice, or the fruit itself. With same may be taken an egg (coddled - or not cooked TOO done), with whole wheat toast; and occasionally a little very crisp bacon.
22. Between the morning and noon meals we would find it well to have a small glass of milk - raw milk; provided it is passing the proper tests for every form of reaction in the system.
23. Noons - juices of vegetables, meat broths - but not too much fat in these; and never any hog meat. Fish, fowl or lamb are the meats to be taken - and the broths of these also; though beef juices may be taken - but not the beef itself. Not necessarily large quantities of the beef juice, but this taken two to three times a week would be very well - tablespoonful at the meal, but not taken just as soup - rather sipped, slowly, and it will be more effective.
24. Evenings - a well-balanced vegetable diet; and at least three or four evenings a week have a raw vegetable before the evening meal - or a raw salad.
25. Do these and, as we find, we will bring the normal forces for this body.
26. Ready for questions.
27. (Q) Any suggestions as to her environment that will help? (A) A bright environment, and the surroundings as much outdoors as possible would be well for the body. It shouldn't be so active as to STRAIN the body, but have a good deal of walking, or a good deal of sunshine. The body would be BETTER off not in school during this latter portion of this spring term.
28. (Q) Would a few weeks at the coast of Florida, say Daytona Beach, help her? (A) It would help her, but we would give that the west coast would be much better than the east coast. Though if it's desired, this may be - but the west coast is the better - for the body.
29. (Q) Any special place? (A) Fairhaven (Fivay?) or Clearwater, or the like.

Do these, and we will bring the better forces for this body; developments in physical, mental and the spiritual activities. Let all of the environs be never as to produce such as to become great antagonism, but positive, active forces that are EVER constructive.
