Born February 2, 1923, in Norfolk, Va. Time of Reading 11:35 to 12:30 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1406].
2. In giving the interpretations of those records as we find there are many influences - even to the astrological urges, the material sojourns, and things - that have to do with the greater urges that arise.
3. Hence we will find there are conflicting conditions in the activities that must be coordinated and correlated if the greater development - as may be possible in the experience of the entity in the present - will be carried through.
4. Colors - these become as means in which the entity may, for itself, determine much. But know as to what colors mean. For the entity is not only able and capable to receive the vibrations of individuals about the entity as to their colors but as to their vibrations. And these then make for a sensitiveness that is often disturbing to the entity.
5. This may be developed or it may be passed over. But those that are as symbols or signs or conditions that may be used constructively, use same; do not abuse same. For that which is good, to be sure, may be used to one's own undoing.
6. Know that when there is felt, seen or experienced those vibrations of low, leaden or dark reds, these are as dangers; not only for self but self's associations with individuals. This is not always to the entity, neither will it be found to be, compatible. For there will be oft, as has been in the experience, those individuals that mentally or materially the entity likes and likes the associations, yet there are resentments.
7. Then study those influences. And know when such arise in
1406-1 Page 2
the experience that warnings are ahead, and govern the associations and the activities accordingly.
8. When there is felt that glow of orange, and the violet hues with the orange, know that these bespeak of sentimentality in the experience and are not always good; yet these in their proper relationships should be a portion of the experiences that make for a joy and an understanding; and it is indeed in such experiences - in which one may know what such vibrations and such colors mean - that the individuals may be trusted.
9. When these reach those stages as to where there is felt the lighter red, and those that turn to shades of green with the influences that make for shadings into white, then these trust, these hold to; for such individuals, such associations, may bring in the experience of the entity that which will make for spiritual enlightenment, a mental understanding, and the influences that would bring helpful influences in every experience.
10. Hence the opal that is called the change, with the moonstone, should be stones about the body or entity oft. Wear the fire opal as a locket about the neck. This would be well. Not upon the hands nor upon the wrists, but about the neck.
11. Wear the others, as of the pearl with moonstone or the like, as rings or amulets or anklets; but never those upon the neck or in the ears - rather upon the extremities; for they will make for the bringing out - in the experiences of those the entity meets - of those very colors and vibrations that have been indicated to which the entity is so sensitive.
12. In giving then the astrological aspects and their influences that arise in the innate forces of the entity, we find that the earthly sojourns become as a portion of the emotional life, the body-emotional, and these - with those vibrations from the elementals (that is, fire, earth, air, water) - will bring the vibratory forces in the experience of the body more than those innate influences from astrological sojourns.
13. Yet intuition from the influences of the emotions arises. Again we see conflicting forces. Not an easy path, unless those standards are chosen that become not only standards to self but to others. For those things to self rarely will be in accord with what others think. Again, confusion; yet so live, so act in thy relationships with individuals that thine own conscience NEVER rebukes thee.
14. These then may be summed up as put in another manner: To thine own self be true and thou wilt not be false to
1406-1 Page 3
anyone.
15. Let thy ideals be rather in the spiritual impulses, and most of all the courage to live the life and the experiences that to SELF answer for the spiritual concept of morality, of peace, of harmony.
16. For being a "sensitive" and capable of the interpretations of the emotions of others is not easy, yet it must not be abused; else there may come those experiences in which there may arise many misunderstandings - and gossip is never kind!
17. In the astrological aspects we find the entity headstrong from Mercury, yet very demure in its headstrongness, and oft sets itself to have its way - eventually has it and finds it isn't what was wanted at all. These arise from those conflicting influences from Mercury, with Saturn.
18. Hence many changes in the aspects, but those benevolent forces in Jupiter and in Venus make for the ability of the entity not only in its friendships and in its relationships with the material world of seeing more of the joy and more of the beauties, but do not let the worldly things be the goal; else these will bring again upon the entity confusion - which is never very kind.
19. In the application then of self in these directions of friendships, of abilities, of abilities for the analyses of emotions and the like that become a portion of the entity's experience - which, as indicated, are judged rather by the material things, or the inclination becomes such:
20. Know that that which has not its foundation in spiritual way MUST eventually fade.
21. While there may be in the experience of the entity much of earthly fame, much of earthly fortune, these abused will turn again and demand flesh for flesh; and these become - as it were with Gabriel [Michael] - disputing with Satan over the body of Moses.
22. Learn indeed what that meant, and what it means in thine own experience. For ye have so oft warned others. Then be warned by that which may now be given thee.
23. As to the appearances in the earth, so many of these become as a part of the entity's experience in the varying years of its experience and development and application in the present, that there will be found that these arise in the order as are given. Hence here, as we will find, not in a consecutive order are these given - the entity's appearances in the earth - but as they influence the entity in its development. For the abilities in a helpfulness so outclass, so surpass the other influences that these would
1406-1 Page 4
rather be dwelt upon than giving the shortcomings. Though offenses are present, though shortcomings are apparent, keep them far, far in the background.
24. Then, the appearance or experience we will give first is that experience when the entity was in the Promised Land, or the Palestine period.
25. The entity was young in years during those experiences when the Master walked in the earth, but was known to many that endured many of the hardships.
26. For the entity was in the household of Rhoda when there were the gatherings when the persecutions had begun, and when Peter was so miraculously released from prison.
27. Hence miracles, as ye would term them, to the entity are the things of the day. And true, the entity has the insight into those influences, that the so-called miraculous is a natural law; if there is the living, the thinking, the praying one and the same.
28. Hence these become to the entity, and those about the entity, wonderments to others as to the abilities; yet these become confusing at times to others and to the entity.
29. Then, think not on the things of the earth. Think not on those things that are as the passing fancy, but hold to that which is the innate influence from those very understandings as gained; that He IS Life - and to abide in that faith; that belief, that consciousness of His indwelling, is that experience that may bring the joy of living, the better experiences of life, and those things that make others conscious of the entity's presence whenever it is among others.
30. It would be impossible for the entity to go even among a group of a thousand and not all be conscious that the entity had entered. Why?
31. As the colors, as the vibrations are a portion of the entity, they also radiate from the entity. Hence many, many, MANY are influenced by the entity even as during that experience when she called to those that had heard, had known, and made for the strengthening influences in even the older of the apostles, even in the younger, and even those that were aged.
32. For the entity brings into the experience of others a helpful, hopeful influence.
33. Hence the admonition to never, NEVER - though the earth may fall, though things may change - do that which would cause thy conscience to rebuke thee!
34. For these broken, then there will come too much of that which at times appears under the surface as of "Don't care." For these would lead to dismay, despair, and to
1406-1 Page 5
disappointments that not only would injure, not only bring discouragement to others but to thyself in such measures that destruction would overshadow thee!
35. The next appearance which we will give as influencing the entity, was just before the entrance in the present.
36. We find the entity was in that land now known as Providence town, during those periods when dipping of those that had familiar spirits might be said to have been in vogue.
37. The entity was dipped, yes - not for the familiar spirit, but rather for taking the part of those that were persecuted.
38. Then the name was Abigail Hemingway.
39. In the experience the entity gained, for there were the abilities that are in the present innate from the material experiences - to understand and comprehend those influences that cause others to act in the varied directions regarding those things unseen as well as those things that become a portion of the material experiences.
40. Thus the entity aided many.
41. Then the entity was an old maid. Hence the present inclination will be to marry early. DON'T DO IT! for such would bring those confusions in the experience for the entity upon those very material activities. And as these are a part of the entity's activities, the directions should be rather in the training for the abilities of the entity in teaching, in ministering, and in bringing to others the material as well as the mental and spiritual help.
42. Hence as the nurse, hence as the teacher, hence as those activities in offices or channels where there may be the First Aid given to those where bodily injuries and such activities become a part of the entity's experience. For what saith the old saw? The first impressions, the most lasting impressions to those in most any experience are the first impressions. And if Christ is carried to those that are in bodily pain first, such impressions last the longest in the experience of the mental man. And this the entity is capable of doing, first knowing these within self.
43. The experience that again becomes a part of the entity through those various stages of development, becoming dependent upon the application of self in those directions as indicated that become a part of the entity's urge!
44. We find the entity was in the earth during the period when "the city in the hills and the plains" made for material experiences in the affairs of men of many nations.
45. The entity then was a Grecian; of beauty in body, of beauty in abilities to attract men, to attract those things
1406-1 Page 6
in the affairs and influences of individuals that were earthy and carnal; and the entity was used as such among many that came into the city for the destruction thereof. However, such was not intended by those leaders, as has been before indicated, but that it might become a part of an idea of a leader during that experience.
46. But with those variations of activities under which the entity passed, and becoming a part of those influences where the teacher in the "city in the hills" brought for the entity not material but mental and physical gains in health, in understanding, the entity became rather as a teacher, a musician - and an influence in creating harmonies by vibrations through music and colors in the experience of those of many lands.
47. Hence, as the attuning of music in the present makes or arouses emotions in the body to an unusual degree, well that there be choices made as to what the emotions are that are aroused by the character of music for the entity.
48. For there is a way that seemeth right to a man, but the end thereof taketh hold upon hell.
49. As to the experiences then that arise from same, choose that which is constructive in the experience, and know it must partake of that which brings peace to the soul and not gratifying of body or of an emotion of the body alone.
50. The name then was Dortheaen.
51. Again we find the experience in the Egyptian land, when turmoils and strifes were rife, owing to the banishments of the Priest.
52. The entity then was of the King's own household, and among those that were of the chosen for the activities to persuade the peoples. Thus the young King used the entity, it might be said, as a pawn; for the activities with the disturbances that had arisen in the Ibex Rebellion as well as the Native activities.
53. Hence we find there is resentment and yet the inclination of the entity to be too easily led by others.
54. Again, as has been given, look to thine own self and to thine own conscience when others would persuade thee; and ye will find - as in the latter portion of the experience when there had been the necessity of the regeneration through the fires of the Temple of Sacrifice, as well as in the services in the Temple Beautiful - that the life beautiful is in an experience of service, not in the gratifying of the temperaments of any individual but rather know, as He, in thine experiences through the Judean or the Palestine land, that He IS the bridegroom; even Jesus, thy Lord.
55. And as ye know, act in those things that may come in
1406-1 Page 7
thine experience as ye develop those abilities for those activities of ministering to others through thine abilities as a seeress, a prophetess, a director in any activity as pertains to the mental forces. Know that He, thy Lord, is at hand EVER - even as ye saw among thy brethren, and in the household of thy fathers.
56. The name then was Isis-El-Tha.
57. Again we find an experience in the Atlantean land, when there were those disturbing forces - or just previous to the first disturbing forces that brought the first destruction in the continent, through the application of spiritual things for self-indulgences of material peoples.
58. Those were the periods as termed in thy Scripture when "The sons of God looked upon the daughters of men, and saw them as being fair."
59. In the experience the entity held fast to the Law of One. This brought many material sorrows, but implanted that which is as a portion of the entity; to know evil, to know good, when it is in the surroundings of the entity.
60. Hence of that one to whom much has been given is much expected.
61. Hold fast to that which is good. For the way is before thee, and many look to thee - even as in all thine experiences in the earth - for directions.
62. Be the leader, be the guide to the many; that ye are innately, and that ye have by thy service gained as thy rightful place. But know that thy leader must be the Christ!
63. Ready for questions.
64. (Q) In what experiences have I been associated with my mother and father [[1222] and [2493]] and what were the relationships? (A) As has been given, in those where the experiences of each brought them in contact as one to another. These were far apart, of course, in the Palestine experience - from the material angle, yet very close; for the entity was blessed by the mother more than once. The associations with the father, as has been indicated, arise more from the Atlantean as well as the Egyptian experience.
65. (Q) Why did I choose to come to the particular parents at this time and for what purpose? (A) Most to be of the help to them that ye can be, and that they might give to thee the correct balance in thy choosing in the present.
66. (Q) What is my true life's work? (A) As has been indicated; as a seeress, a prophetess - in
1406-1 Page 8
the capacity of nurse or teacher.
67. (Q) What particular psychic faculties should I attempt to develop and just what should be the procedure? (A) As has been indicated, vibrations and color.
68. (Q) Please give me my seal. (A) The Cross alone with the crown of roses!
69. (Q) The interpretation? (A) He leads, and crowns those that are in keeping with that indicated.
70. (Q) Is my name in keeping with my vibration? (A) Very much in keeping with the vibrations. Well chosen is the name.
71. (Q) To what color do I vibrate? (A) As has been indicated, all colors almost fade when the entity enters. It gives life then to any; but those that are of the bright colors, yet those that are in harmony, are those that should be most about the body.
72. (Q) What has been my relationship with Edgar Cayce in past incarnations? (A) In the Persian as well as in the Egyptian; and that - to be sure close in the Palestine.
73. (Q) What particular studies should I take up as I have opportunity for choice? (A) Those of First Aid, as has been indicated, or those in the capacity of an attendant to the physician, or as a nurse; and then EVERYTHING that pertains to color, to vibration, to stones, and to all such.
74. (Q) What have been my past associations with my sisters, [2632], [...] and [...]? (A) We haven't the sisters; they are not a part of the entity. But let that which has been given interpret itself in thine experiences. Look on those often. Hold fast to those portions of the experiences of the Disciples and the Apostles in the early ministering for the Church; and you will see thine own self! Then, in the very vibrations of that as is seen, know ye must hold to Him who is the Way, who is the Brother to every one that seeks His aid.
