Time of Reading 3:20 to 3:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Miss. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1407].

2. Now, as we find, disturbing conditions are of natures that the causes have existed for some time.

3. Then with the reactions as brought about, incapacitation by pressures segregating and producing specific taxation became existent.

4. Then as we find, it would be necessary to take both of these conditions into account when administering that which would not only help but - if the precautions are kept, and if consistent activity is taken - bring many years of active service to the body.

5. These should then not be dwelt upon by the body itself nor those assisting in administering help, that there is little or no use owing to the age of the body; but rather that there may be aroused helpful influences. However, to be sure, owing to the age, these are not as easily aroused unless the mental attitude can be brought to a much nearer, much more normal CONSTRUCTIVE force in its outlook upon conditions, experiences of the body, as well as the activities of same.

6. These must be considered well, then, when administrations are made of that as may be here outlined.

7. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, [1407] we are speaking of:

8. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find evidences of excesses of poisons or accumulations through the system, until there is so much activity or was so much activity along the arterial circulation as to cause an expansion of same. Not a hardening but rather a dilation or expansion. Thus the character of the reaction that has incapacitated the body in the extremities to some extent is not as of a clot but rather a plethora or expansion in the areas from which the cerebrospinal system, as combined with the sympathetic or vegetative, receives its impulse for activity through the extremities.

9. The blood stream also indicates the low or slow activity of the liver, the inclinations for long periods of inattention to the body owing to or from constipation; and a little stomach trouble that produced bad breath, with shortness of breath. Hence the reaction first expected, or as spoken of, was a heart's reaction. Circulation, but not an organic disturbance.

10. IN THE NERVOUS SYSTEM, we find the centers from which the locomotories receive their impulse are affected; in the lower part as well as to the upper, but more in the lower. They are the areas upon or through which pressures are existent, and these are to be taken into consideration when administering helpful forces for the body.

11. IN THE ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANS, as has been indicated, the slowing of the circulation - with the congestion through the areas as indicated - has slowed the step or the activity of the body; has made the feelings or the appearances of not being sick but continuously not feeling good.

12. Then, since the conditions that have partially incapacitated the body, these while not so severe at most periods, at periods they are very severe; causing the body to find it hard to navigate at times or move about; inclination to want to sleep; inclination or desire for more relaxation.

13. These as we find arise from the disturbances in the functionings of the organs as has been indicated.

14. Hence we find liver, spleen, pancreas all involved; yet some sympathetic, some direct, but functional.

15. AS WE FIND, THEN, IN GIVING THOSE THINGS THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL:

16. To be sure, during the periods of such warm weather, these will require not too severe treatments but continuous or consistent; that is, once or twice a day there would be the administrations of those things suggested. Not one day then leave off; not two to three days and then leave off, but consistently. These to be sure will be a little slow at first, but if there is the consistent use of same, we should find help and relief for the body.

17. First, we would make a change in those influences as used for the activity through the alimentary canal. We will find these would be changed in the way and manner as indicated here.

18. First we would begin with the use of Zilatone tablets. These as we find would be taken in this way and manner:

19. We would say on Thursdays or Fridays take one tablet in the morning just after the morning meal; in the evening take two after the evening meal. Then do not take more of these

1407-1 Page 3

until Tuesday, when they would be taken in the same manner, you see.

20. On Wednesday morning (after taking the Zilatone on Tuesday, you see) take a level teaspoonful of Sal-Hepatica in a teaglass of water; first dissolved in about half a glass of water and then the glass poured full.

21. These will tend to make for better eliminations. These we would keep up in this way for two weeks, leave off for two weeks, and then begin again and continue in the same manner.

22. Also we would begin immediately with rubs, using an equal combination of Mutton Suet or Mutton Tallow (dissolved or melted), Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. This should be massaged into the body, all that will be absorbed. Do not bake same except when there are very severe pains; then bake same by applying an electric pad or hot salt in bags or the like, across the areas where acute pain may arise.

23. Give such a massage morning and evening. Begin in the middle of the spine, gently massage along the spine to the centers from which the locomotories receive their impulses - or at the 4th lumbar. Then follow down each limb, especially in that area just under the hip bone (from the back), along the ends of the sciatic nerve at the knee, across the muscular forces of the lower limbs AND the feet. Then from the 9th dorsal or central portion of the back, work upward; gentle circular motion, all the body will absorb; under shoulder blades, extending to the hands, all the body absorbs. Then sponge off with a little soda water.

24. Do this in the same manner in the evening just before retiring, and in the morning just before arising.

25. Also be mindful of the diet! This is the most important precaution, BUT DO NOT TAKE ANY PORTION OF THE TREATMENT SUGGESTED UNLESS ALL IS GOING TO BE ADHERED TO IN THE MANNER INDICATED! These first:

26. DO NOT eat white potatoes nor corn, either fried or boiled; nor spaghetti or macaroni. An outline according to these, as we find would be the better:

27. Mornings - fresh fruits or cereals and fruits.

28. A little brown toast, coffee - but not with cream! Sugar may be taken.

29. Noons - this should be the lighter meal, with all raw vegetables! Lettuce, tomatoes, celery, onions, radish; anything that may be eaten raw. Do this at least three days of each week. The other days there may be taken gruel or vegetable soups or meat soups, or the like.

30. DO NOT EAT HOG MEAT OF ANY KIND!

31. Evenings - preferably the leafy vegetables, well-cooked.

1407-1 Page 4

If meats are taken, let these be fowl, lamb or fish. DO NOT EAT FRIED FOODS!

32. These - if they are adhered to - will bring better conditions for this body, [1407].

33. Ready for questions.

34. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Mr. [370]
