1. EC: Yes.
2. Now, as we find, conditions are not so good with this body, [1409]; and unless real precautions are taken, and some applications for correcting the disturbing conditions, these may become rather serious in the experience just now.
3. As we find, there is rather a complication of causes, and these have grown to where the disturbing factors are combining against the better influences in the system; and this makes all the more necessity for activities that may relieve and eliminate these conditions.
4. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1409] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates not only a very poor quality but very much lacking in quantity.
6. Hence we have a fast activity of the flow, and this very low in vitality.
7. Hence the temperature that arises from the poisons by the poor eliminations, which have long been a part of the greater disturbance in the body, through the lack of proper glandular activity, as to produce those plasms that would not only replenish the cellular force in the circulation (as the white and red blood cells) but also those sources from which these arise; and from the very activity of that effluvium in the blood supply to produce better coagulation.
8. Hence as we find, from toxic forces through the intestinal system, and through structural portions of the body, there are adhesions or lesions from old conditions that arose from activities in the pelvic organs and through the activity of the assimilating system as related to the jejunum's activity. This is the source of infection from which the pressures upon the nerve system in the extremities cause a form of neuritic reaction, or neuritis, or a neurotic condition.
9. This slows the circulation then to the hands, to the
1409-1 Page 2
arms, to the lower limbs at times; and these arise from those centers where the cerebrospinal and sympathetic systems become closer in conjunction in their activity one with another.
10. The lumbar area specific, the 9th dorsal, the 3rd and 4th dorsal, and throughout the cervical area.
11. From these very same pressures as indicated in the cervical area, we have a very thin or very poor circulation, and also one that - as has been indicated - is lacking in the vital forces for recuperation; that produces an irritation to the larynx and to those portions of the bronchi; and this tendency for a dry hacking cough without phlegm, without other than a feeling of a fullness in the areas from which these conditions arise.
12. All of these then are as a portion of the whole of the disturbances through this body.
13. These then as we find produce very bad circulation upon the activity of the organs of the system; in the throat, bronchi and larynx.
14. The lung becomes involved through the lack of the blood flow sufficient to make for a fullness through same. Thus we have often only a half breath, or not more than two-thirds of the lung area expanding to the breathing.
15. This naturally makes for the inclination towards lack of the oxidization or sufficient oxygen in the system. These make for again the lack of the ability of the blood supply to cleanse itself; hence making for a reaction upon the whole of the hepatic circulation, producing toxic forces and poisons - combined with the lack of the proper circulation and coagulation.
16. Hence we have those indications of the hot and cold sensations. Even when the body may be perspiring freely in portions there will be those inclinations or feelings of lack of proper circulation.
17. The liver, the spleen, the pancreas all become somewhat involved.
18. As we would find then, in making applications that may be the more helpful for the body:
19. While the eliminations may not be carried too far, there must be the poisons eliminated from the system.
20. Rather a series of activities through the alimentary canal, as we find; tending to make for strengthening as much as possible through those periods, and yet producing somewhat of a strain upon the system.
21. First, we would begin with small doses taken often of the Simmons Liver Regulator in the liquid. The small dose would be half a teaspoonful two to three times a day, you

see; about three times a day, until there is a full activity throughout the system.
22. During the whole periods of this beginning, let the diets be principally liquids; as citrous fruit juices - oranges, lemons, grapefruit, pineapple; gelatins, raw vegetables prepared with gelatin; beef juice; the juices from vegetables. All of these rather than meats or the like. Let the beef juice be prepared with only the lean beef; no fat in same. Also we would include broiled liver, or liver extract. All of these during this cleansing period.
23. As soon as there are at least two full activities from the alimentary canal by the use of the Simmons Liver Regulator, leave off and begin with Fletcher's Castoria. Take two teaspoonsful at a dose about five hours apart. Take this until there is a thorough reaction from the Castoria.
24. During these periods we would rest.
25. Also we would use the electrically driven vibrator over the whole of the cerebrospinal system, extending to the back portions of the limbs and to the feet; to the head and to the arms.
26. All of these are to make for a reaction as for replenishing of the system.
27. We would also use the Radio-Active Appliance for at least an hour each day.
28. Do this for at least three rounds; not meaning to take all of these properties all the time, you see, but in periods - with about three days between. Hence we would take about three periods or rounds of the medicinal properties.
29. Then we would give the instructions from there.
30. Do these in the present.
31. Ready for questions.
32. (Q) What will relieve cough? (A) Do these things as we have given first. This will aid in relieving, but we must have something to build upon!
33. (Q) What will reduce the fever, and relieve neuritis? (A) Those things for the eliminations, to get the poisons out of the system, from which these conditions arise as indicated. Do these for at least three series, with three days in between each series; and then we would give further instructions.
34. We are through for the present. Copy to Self - sent in by Hugh Lynn Cayce
