Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1411]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, in many respects the general physical conditions are much improved from that as we have had here before.

3. From the conditions in the specific centers, where there is the crossing of the nerve channels and the blood channels in the portion of the head or ear, in the mastoid area, we find there is still the leakage without the full or proper coagulation for the perfect healing.

4. Then as we find it becomes necessary that this be cleansed that there are no infectious forces or such stoppages as to continue to produce pressures sufficient to continue to break the cellular forces in the area.

5. This naturally must be done by one acquainted with and aware of the physical conditions existent there; yet those suggestions for the general health, the general improvement, should be kept in order as we have given, that the body-resistance may be built and the pressures removed so as to prevent stiffness and the improper circulation being established in the body.

6. These then we would do.

7. We would keep, then, those suggestions we have made for the GENERAL improvement.

8. We would have those conditions cleansed and those activities for producing the coagulation in the local area.

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Why do I have to sneeze so much and how may this be prevented? (A) The natural pressure upon the sensory forces of the body tends to make for an irritation to the soft tissue in the nasal passages. With the continued removal of the pressure in the dorsal and throughout the cervical area this tendency would gradually

decrease.

11. (Q) What can be done to cleanse my blood and prevent leakage or drainage to ear? (A) The keeping of the body in the general way and manner as indicated, keeping the balance in the blood stream for the purifying of same, stimulating the activity to those portions of the body that drain the system of the poisons; as through the alimentary canal, the respiratory system, the activities of the organs themselves. And this as we find may be better done in the manner and way that has been indicated; by relieving the pressures in the areas from which these organs receive their impulse in the actions of the bodily forces and functions.

12. (Q) Should I have my teeth extracted to improve general health? (A) There are individual ones that would be well to remove; yet this in the present condition would be rather hard upon the system. Until there is a little better condition through the whole of the circulation and better coagulation, this would be rather severe upon the system. In six to eight weeks this might be accomplished, if there are the continued improvements in the general health of the body. If there are the continued tendencies for the irritations to the soft tissue, still the upsetting of the system in these ways and manners, we would NOT until this has adjusted itself in a more normal manner.

13. (Q) Does smoking hinder the healing process? (A) Smoking in moderation would not be so severe upon the activity of the nerve system and of the blood supply. WE would reduce the quantity of the smoking, then, and we would find that the digestive system and the nerve system would gradually improve in a cleansing of the system itself.

14. (Q) What would be the most appropriate vegetables or foods to build up my blood supply so as to maintain the same pressure throughout? (A) As indicated, those that make for the keeping of a normal balance in the acids and alkalines of the system. Study just a bit the vegetables and the general food values of ALL foods; as to how they react to the body. As WE would then find, this would be a good GENERAL outline, though this to be sure would not include ALL that may be eaten or all that would be eliminated; for we would find at

1411-2 Page 3

times there are various conditions and various foods that produce, under the stress and strain of activity, a varied effect; that is: (This is not the food list as yet, but how there are the variations.) When the body is under stress or strain by being tired, overactive, and then would eat heavy foods - as cabbage boiled with meat - these would produce acidity; yet cabbage WITHOUT the meats would produce an alkaline reaction UNDER the same conditions! The same would be true if there were fried foods such as fried potatoes eaten, when there is a little cold or the body has gotten exceedingly cold or damp, these would produce (if fried) an acid, and become hard upon the system; while the same taken as mashed or as roasted with other foods would react differently. This as an outline: Mornings - cereals, fruits or the like; eggs, bacon if very crisp may be taken. Toast, preferably the whole wheat or the brown bread. Do not eat cereals and citrous fruits at the same meal, though citrous fruits - as oranges, lemons, limes or grapefruit - may be taken in place of or altered with the cereals. Prunes, stewed prunes, stewed figs or the like may be taken in the place of either of these. Noons - preferably vegetables that are well-cooked, preferably WITHOUT fat meats in same. Use green vegetables, raw, or salads, or sandwiches provided these are preferably of the lettuce, celery, egg, or the like. DO NOT eat hog meat, save the bacon of morning, or the pigs' feet or tripe - these may be taken occasionally, but should be those that are roasted, NOT those that are EVER fried. Evenings - a well-balanced vegetable meal with fish, fowl or lamb. Do not eat fried foods. Coffee, milk or tea may be taken at times as a beverage.

15. (Q) Should I go back to Dr. Richardson? (A) For the GENERAL conditions of the body, these treatments we find offer the better ways of producing the better coordination in the system. In these we find it would be better that there be periods when the whole of the activity would be the LOCAL attention to the ear, and then other periods when the whole attention would be to the GENERAL system.

16. (Q) Would it be better to take a period now for the local treatments and later for the osteopathic?

1411-2 Page 4

(A) These would be better now, the local treatments; for we will find, where conditions have become partly constitutional, partly a local condition, there will be good periods and bad periods; but until the general system would be rebuilt in such a manner that the local condition will coagulate properly, these cannot be PERMANENTLY kept out. Hence there needs to be the period for the one, then the period for the other - if the better conditions will be brought about.

17. (Q) Approximately how long should these periods be? (A) That depends upon how WELL they are done and how reacting the system is to the application! If there are as many FAILURES made as indicated that HAVE been made, this would be problematical! This depends upon the application and the MANNER of application.

18. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do not become in any manner antagonistic to or overworried about the disturbing forces among those that would apply these suggestions, but know that in doing the right and in keeping in that way where constructive forces are the activities of the body and mind, conditions and provisions will e brought about for the best in the physical forces.
