Time of Reading ... Street, 4:15 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.
1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1436], ..., New York City, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to her health, her life and work. You will answer the questions, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, the enquiring mind, [1436]; this we have had before.
3. In some respects, physically, conditions show improvement.
4. It is well - the character of hypodermics that have been given and are being given, to change the reactions in the chemical forces of the body, and to produce better glandular reactions. These in the main we would keep in the present.
5. Ready for questions.
6. (Q) Should I take the thyroid the doctor prescribed, also the injections of the Theelin? (A) The thyroid is very well to be taken. This adds to the effect of the injection, which also is beneficial in causing resistance, as indicated.
7. (Q) What am I heading for and how should I prepare myself? (A) This, to be sure, depends upon the course taken and the choice made. There are many opportunities that lie before the body. If the choices are in the way of constructive thinking, constructive activity, creative influence for the mind of self as well as for others - no matter in what direction the choice is made - it should be for developments.
8. (Q) How about my mediumship? shall I continue to develop it? (A) This depends upon the purpose for which it is to be used. We would go slow with this. In the present directions, go slow. We would rather develop the abilities to bring hope, comfort and cheer to others, through the physical and mental abilities - as in the writing, as well as in the abilities to make, distribute or show dolls.
9. (Q) I have just contracted to go on tour with my collection of dolls for the government "The National Defense

Doll Tour." I am to begin in January and I want to make this really count. What should I do? (A) GO, by all means; and make it count by NOT self being presented so much as the hope, the interest that may be aroused in the activity of others.
10. (Q) Should I publish a book with the Garden City Publishing Co., on which they will give me only 2 1/2 cents a book? (A) By all means. By the correct advertising, the correct mediumships for distribution, it should bring a very nice income.
11. (Q) Should I try to get a contract for pictures? (A) This may be eventually, but this should not interfere with the abilities in doll making, doll distribution, or doll showing.
12. (Q) Should I manufacture dolls? (A) This would be a better outlet.
13. (Q) Should I sell pins to stores? (A) This may be a part of the activity, but as we find if the whole time is given to the manufacture, construction, delivery and distribution of the dolls, this should take most of the time.
14. (Q) Should I sell defense dresses? (A) This depends upon whether the choice is made in that direction indicated. If there is the choice to manufacture, distribute and sell dolls, do THAT. Do not try to mix too many things. Too many irons in the fire, none will grow hot, none will be tempered properly; the best would not be obtained from any.
15. (Q) Should I call it the [1436] Enterprises? (A) This is very well.
16. (Q) What is the motive or ideal that I should stress in this tour, and what should I look for as its reward? (A) The constructive thinking, the constructive activity in associations with each and every individual with whom contact is made; especially the interests as to the developments and the character and the various types of dolls that may appeal to the developing in childhood towards motherhood. Few have considered as to the helpfulness dolls have been towards motherhood in any land. Wherever these have been a part of the developing of the children, especially of the young ladies or girls, these have made homes where those who never played with them rarely would. Stress this.
