1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for corrective measures, answering the questions she submits, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1446]; this we have had before.
3. However, we find there are acute conditions in the gall duct area; produced by a spasmodic neuralgia from cold, congestion, and the cycle of activity in this portion of the system.
4. While this causes excruciating pain, especially to the area about the right side, right shoulder and at times even to the left or upper portion of the shoulder blades and lung area, we find that it may be relieved - but will require consistent and persistent applications of those forces and influences which may not only relax but act upon the system in such a manner as to relieve the causes, also the condition which exists, without producing effects disturbing to those areas which have been weakened by same.
5. First, we would paint the area with a combination of three parts Laudanum and one part Aconite. This would be applied over the gall duct and the lacteal duct, and a portion of the liver area. It is preferable that this be painted on with a small camel's hair brush. This would make it even.
6. And then apply three or four thicknesses of a saturated Castor Oil Pack. This should not be sprinkled or poured on, but the cloth rung out in the Oil. It would be applied as hot as the body can bear - continuously; that is, every twenty or thirty minutes. Even with the use of the Pad to keep same hot or warm, change the cloths by dipping into the Oil again; wringing out and applying just as hot as the hands can stand. It is messy and hot, and VERY HOT, when attempting to handle. But keep applying until the pain is relieved. Each time the cloth is changed, paint the body with the Laudanum and Aconite.

7. Not so hot nor so often as to blister the exterior portion, but there must be sufficient heat to drive the Oil into the activity of the system.
8. Then, when this is eased, take three tablespoonsful of Olive Oil.
9. The Packs then may be repeated, if there is the least disturbance within the next two or three days, or a return of same.
10. Massage or rub with the equal combination of Mutton Suet, Spirits of Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor, over the shoulder, around the breast, under the arm and down the central portion of the breast bone. This will aid in alleviating the disturbance there.
11. Then the precautions as to the diet: This should be preferably of those foods that are strengthening, but those that are easily assimilated.
12. Whole wheat or cracked wheat as a cereal or mush, cooked two or three hours, should be taken about every other day. On the days between (NOT on the days when the cereal is taken), we would have citrus fruit juices in moderation. With the orange juice put a little lemon juice.
13. Of course, any of the liquid or semi-liquids until the body has been rid entirely of the congestion in the liver and gall duct area.
14. Beef juice is strengthening, though not beef itself. Of course, later there may be taken lamb, fowl or fish.
15. When the Oil is taken, after the Packs, if there is still disturbance, or a heaviness or slowness of the eliminations through the system owing to the sedatives, we would use enemas. But be sure there is Salt and Soda in the water used for the enemas; not too high an enema, but so that it would tend to make the lower portion of the colon active. In the last water use a teaspoonful of Glyco-Thymoline to the pint of water. Have the water body-temperature.
16. Do these and we find we will remove the disturbance in the present.
17. When the body is feeling better, or near normal to itself, we would give further instructions.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) How are other parts of the body? (A) As indicated, better. And this is why, when the body is feeling near normal, there should be further suggestions made for keeping the body physically fit; as to what or according to what changes are wrought by the necessity of the applications for the present acute conditions.
20. (Q) Should other treatments as previously indicated be followed?

(A) As indicated, do THESE NOW! When these acute disturbances are eliminated, we would give the instructions for other portions and disturbing conditions!
