Time of Reading ... Hotel, 11:15 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., La. (Miss [1464] born January 22, 1871, in Natchez, Miss. You will give a Mental and Spiritual Reading, with information that may be helpful at this time.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the records of the entity now called Miss [1464].

2. In giving the mental and the spiritual advice and counsel, it is well for the entity that the basis or the premise from which such information is given be stated.

3. It is then from the records the entity has made in the experiences or sojourns in the earth, and what have been in such experiences the ideals of the entity during such sojourns, such activities.

4. Also it is well that there be given the entity that which is the ideal manner of expression in ANY given material experience; and it is this:

5. As an entity, a soul, is the expression of divinity, and as its purpose or first cause was to be a companion in spirit with the Spirit of Creative Forces, then the activities in materiality - or matter - are to be guided in spirit and in truth by those influences that are the environs, the surroundings, the laws, the premises for the First Cause; or to be, to fill that purpose for which the entity came into being.

6. As to what an entity has done in other experiences is as the lessons that are to be learned in the present, or in the now; and bring about the shortcomings in attitudes, oft in physical reactions, oft in those conditions to be met in the experiences - as the entity has applied self.

7. For there are those immutable laws that with each experience, each activity the entity, an individual soul constantly meets; that is, as these:

8. The WHOLE law is to love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, thy mind, thy body; thy neighbor as thyself. This is the whole law, this is the whole purpose for an experience, an activity of an entity in any given or individual experience or appearance even throughout the sojourns in a

material plane.

9. And as the entity has applied or does apply self in that direction, so do there come those manifestations, the building and the advancement of the entity in the grace and mercy and justice and peace in that given experience.

10. For these, the fruits of the spirit, are the result of that shown or sown.

11. For God is not mocked, and WHATSOEVER the individual or soul sows in its activities among its fellow man, that must it also reap.

12. Hence as we find, mind is the builder and is both spiritual and material. If there is the activity in such directions that the greater stress is laid upon self and self-indulgence, self-aggrandizement, then the entity grows to be more and more material-minded, more and more selfish, more and more in those activities that bring about disturbing forces in the experience throughout.

13. But the more and more the activities are in those things that bring about peace, harmony, brotherly love, long-suffering, patience, kindness, gentleness, greater is the growth, greater is the harmony, greater is the experience of joy and of happiness in the activities of the individual.

14. Thus does the entity create by its activities, from one experience to another, its own environs, its own activities, its own influences. For as has been given, EACH soul meets itself again and again. For as ye do it unto the least of these thy brethren, EVER, so ye do unto thy Maker.

15. Inasmuch as there has been builded in the experiences of the entity, in the activities through the sojourns of the entity in the earth, those abilities, those faculties as it were in given directions for the entity to do or to be able to express itself as a leader, as a director in those things pertaining to the social life, the home, the economic conditions or the environments of others, the abilities in directing others in their moral, social, political lives - hence the entity finds that these channels in every way and manner offer for the entity an activity in which the mental and spiritual self may find the expression in manifesting those very influences and forces that have been indicated should be the ideal of every soul in its activity in a material world.

16. Hence as we find, as the entity applies self in these directions there may come more and more the assurance that there IS a closer walk with the spiritual influences and activities in every phase of the human and the material endeavor.

17. For that upon which an entity, this entity thinks, that becomes a part of same; as the APPLICATIONS of its tenets become a portion of the experience and the life and the living of the entity in its activities in a material plane.

18. So, keep the faith. That thou knowest to do today is as a manifestation of the glory of the Father that has been or may be manifested to thee.

19. Thus does it become a part of self as ye DO it. Knowledge, or a hearsay, may accomplish little; but the application of the truth of love, of life, of those that produce such, bring about in the experiences of others not fear, not hatred, but hope and love and life itself.

20. These created by the activities, the expressions of the entity in its relationships to others, bring those very influences in the life.

21. For as ye give, so ye receive. For if ye would know and have friends, show thyself friendly. If ye would know and have love in thy experience, in thy associations, SHOW thyself, be thou lovely to others! And as has been given, the seed ye sow multiply in the lives of others and return to thee some thirty, some sixty, some an hundredfold. For THESE are the ways of life, these are the manifestations of the spirit of justice and truth and mercy.

22. If ye would have the Father-God show thee mercy, be thou merciful. For as ye do it to others, so ye do it to thy Maker.
