Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks a Mental & Spiritual Rdg., with information, advice and guidance as to his life and work. You will give that most needed for his proper expression at this time, and answer the questions he submits, as I ask them.)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1466] present in this room; this we have had before.
2. In giving that in the physical and material and mental manner, as we find that would be the more helpful in the present, many things that have been given the body as respecting its associations, its activities, its experiences through the material plane, should be considered.
3. Each soul, as is known by the entity, enters an experience for the magnifying of the entity's ideal. For as has been given, He hath not willed that any soul should perish; neither does He seek to bring sorrow, disappointments, heartaches, in the experience of those activities in the earth - save it be for the edifying of the soul.
4. For whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and purgeth EVERY one.
5. These to be sure are known in the experience of the entity, yet how to make these applicable, and to become not reconciled but rather the more active, looking forward to the ability of self to stand in every sense, every phase of the experience, as a channel, a manifestation, a helpmeet for those principles, those ideals that are cherished within the inner self, become then the problems.
6. These then ye know, these then ye must make practical, make applicable.
7. Humbleness does not mean, then, degrading nor becoming discouraged when self has been refused that which according to the principle of the self is debased by those that SHOULD be, are in the position to be, helpful experiences in the affairs of the entity.

8. But he that finds fault, even when these conditions and experiences come about, is not wise.
9. Rather know, as HE has experienced and did experience in the associations with man, even to those periods when they could not watch for one hour.
10. Ye may not expect, ye may not ask to be above thy Lord, thy Master; but He hath willed, He hath desired that ye be one WITH Him; looking forward to the fruit of that in the spirit that ye sow among thy fellow men.
11. For love begets love, just as patience and longsuffering beget these in the experiences of those that do same.
12. And ye know He is not unmindful, and that His promises are sure. These ye have proclaimed, these then ye MUST rely upon.
13. Not that ye become as idle in the vineyard of the Lord. For He will come and reckon with the keepers of the opportunities that are given to each and every soul.
14. These then should make rather the entity take courage in the faith, in the promise - and make those promises thy very own!
15. For He will keep watch with thee.
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) Should I continue the work [as agent] with the Bankers Life Ins. Co.? (A) This as we find should be rather a part-time work. We would give more and more time to the automotive work. And then keeping in touch with all of those activities that pertain to being a minister, a messenger, a servant in the faith.
18. (Q) Please give suggestions for improvement in this line of work. (A) Just more consistent persistence. This requires tact, and the seeking and searching out. And look for the opportunities ever in such for doing good for His name sake.
19. (Q) Any advice or suggestions for improving the work with the Bankers Life? (A) As we have indicated, this is well to be rather as a side issue. Not that it is to be neglected, not that it is to be the first and foremost. For SERVICE is the first and foremost principle of the entity. Keep that foremost, then, even in the approach in this line also.
20. (Q) Should I continue my work with the A.A.A. for the time being? (A) As indicated, this should be stressed the more for the outside work.
21. (Q) Any suggestions regarding improvement? (A) As indicated, just keep on keeping on.

22. (Q) Should I remain at ...? (A) For the present, or until at least the next fall. Then we will find, before then, changes coming about.
23. (Q) What are the possibilities for the days to come? (A) As ye sow, so will ye reap. These then as we find must bring a harvest of that which has been put forth.
24. (Q) Generally speaking, has the move we have made been the correct one? (A) Generally speaking, a correct one. Then again, as the entity so well knows, USE THAT THOU HAST IN HAND; and as ye use same, that as may be for thine own soul and mind development will be given thee.
25. (Q) Or have we inserted too much of self and used lack of wisdom in the matter? (A) Make the Lord's work first and foremost ever. Opportunities continue; for these are the ways of the Lord with man, in making manifest that man professes and confesses before men. Then be ever in that attitude, that activity, of BEING that ye propound to others.
26. (Q) Should I make any definite move to seek employment, either in the ministry or in business? (A) These as we find, as has been indicated, should first find self and that purpose, and then know - as ye apply, and as has been indicated these will grow to fruition in the coming seasons.
27. (Q) Or should I continue to expect the proper place to present itself that peculiarly fits my capabilities? (A) You should! For he that asks and expects not has already set the barrier. But he that seeks, he that asks - as it hath been so oft given - Seek and ye shall find, knock and it will be opened unto you. For the Lord loveth those that keep His ways.
28. (Q) How may I keep from becoming discouraged? (A) Looking to Him, the author, the finisher of thy faith. For though He were rich, He became poor that He might know thee and that you might know Him as thy brother, thy Savior, thy Lord - and be one with Him. For the earth is His, as ye know. Trust in Him and ye will find faith. For the lesson ye are learning is PATIENCE; and

in patience ye become aware of, ye possess thine own soul.
29. (A) Is there any particular work I can do in the Ass'n for Research & Enlightenment, Inc., that would be beneficial both to the Ass'n and myself? (A) As ye have received, so give. As ye have been convicted, convinced in thine own experience, so give. For the work of the Association must stand as it ministers to the needs. Ye may become an emissary to others according to thy faith, thy measure of experience in same. These become rather as a part and parcel of self; not a definite activity. For the Lord hath need of those that CAN and DO endure.
30. We are through for the present.
