1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions for further corrective measures; answering the questions, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1467]; this we have had before.

3. As we find, there are many changes in the general physical forces of the body since last we had same here. Most of these as we find are for improvements.

4. There ARE those conditions, however, that are causing some disturbance with the body.

5. These as we find are pressures that exist in the lumbar and sacral area, that is a balancing, and has NOT been corrected properly; that deflects the circulation as to the limbs, the lower extremities, as well as the circulation especially to the throat, head and mouth.

6. These weaknesses, then, have allowed not only a general disturbance that causes muscular contraction in the tendons of the lower limbs, that affects the muscles between the heel and the knee, but that causes disturbance to the knees as well as at times heaviness through the thigh and the trunk portion of the body.

7. Then, through this weakened condition, we have an attack upon the lymph circulation through the teeth and gums - a condition at times called Riggs' Disease.

8. This as we find causes the receding of the gums, soreness, especially in the frontal portion. This is from the lack of the circulation, and then the microbe that produces such.

9. For these conditions we would give first, then, that there be at least three to five thorough osteopathic adjustments through the sacral and lumbar area; coordinating the 9th dorsal, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, and through the cervical area, with the corrections made in the lumbar-sacral.

10. Apply also locally, alternately, an alkaline and an acid

antiseptic for the gums.

11. Use a massage, then, of the compound called Ipsab, twice each day. Then rinse the mouth, after this is used, with the Glyco-Thymoline full strength, working same to a foam through the teeth and around the gums.

12. As for those conditions (from the same cause) through the feet and the toes apply a local antiseptic; as any good, strong antiseptic, such as Absorbine, Jr. full strength, night and morning.

13. These, with the osteopathic corrections, should reduce and make for better conditions.

14. The muscular forces in the lower limbs we would massage with an equal of Olive Oil and Tincture of Myrrh, for this body; heating the Oil to add the Myrrh. This is merely to give strength and elasticity to the muscular forces from the strains that have been produced by this subluxation through the lumbar and sacral area.

15. Then in the diet - keep away from fried foods or quantities of fats or greases.

16. Little of carbonated waters, though at times it will be found that fountain Coca-Cola will be helpful to the body, but this rather in moderation.

17. White bread and white potatoes are tabu for the body. Potatoes may be occasionally in soups or the like, but very little of same.

18. Carrots, lettuce, celery - these should be a portion of one meal each day.

19. Ready for questions.

20. (Q) Should I continue to use soda and salt, or Ipana tooth paste? (A) Ipana at the present time; though there is no better dentifrice than soda and salt ordinarily.

21. (Q) Is Ipsab the acid antiseptic referred to? (A) As indicated, one an acid, one an alkaline. Use the Ipsab as a massage and a cleanser twice each day. After the use of same rinse the mouth as indicated with Glyco-Thymoline, full strength. DO as has been given.

22. We are through. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (8/2/40 GD's note: See extra copy of directions [which was enclosed] for Dr. Hudgins.) .)
