1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1467], present in this room, together with his present work, and his son, [...], his sister, [1540] in Williamsburg Sanitarium, with the present conditions and environments surrounding each in their relationship to him. You will please analyze these problems and give him specific information as to how he may meet and overcome these problems that are confronting him and give such aid that would be beneficial to him. You will answer the questions he has submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1467] present in this room; together with the problems, conditions and circumstance.
3. These are indeed problems, in a manner, but let the body, the mind, not approach same with the idea or the thought that they are something not necessary in the experience.
4. It is true that the problems of the questionings in the one, and the serious disturbances in the mental attitudes and relations in the other, are indeed sorrowful. Yet do not meet them as being barriers or as hindrances. Know that in all such, while ye may not be able to meet them alone, there is a friend, a brother, who knows the sorrow, who knows all such disturbances. Having promised to be ever present in time of trouble, in time of sorrow, in time of trial of any nature, He is able to fulfilland to keep that promise.
5. In the one, with the son - it IS necessary that there be oft established that relationship as of father and son. Thou hast known in thine own experience that character, that understanding thou hast desired thine own father to have toward thee.
6. Know that such again comes into the mind, into the experience of thy son. And be all that thou would desire that thine own father be, if conditions now were reversed.
7. These in counsel, these in association; not as one giving

way to sentiment that is not thy nature. Sentiment and friendship are indeed different. One desires. The other fulfill.
8. That is the manner, then, that ye shall approach and ask, and seek, and abide by that direction as may come from Him.
9. In the association or conditions existing regarding the sister: [See 1540-4 and 1540-5.]
10. Here ye have problems wherein they each meet themselves, as it were; of and in keeping with things or conditions spoken as regarding others, not really meaning. But remember, He hath given - ye shall give an account of every idle word. For the law shall not pass away until ye pay every jot, every tittle; even as did He, who is able, who is capable, who is willing to be thy counsel, thy brother, thy guide, at ALL times.
11. There needs to be a period yet of what might be termed chastisement; not so long, but in another three to four weeks there may be a willingness in the mind, in the conditions of the sister to be guided by those counsels, those conditions as may be in the offing then.
12. THEN there will be needed the cooperation of others in MEETING the conditions, until there is the physical and the mental adjustments of the body of the sister for the carrying on in this particular experience.
13. These are the conditions, the problems, the manners. But the guidance should be in Him.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to have my glasses changed? (A) We would not have glasses changed until after there had been at least four full, complete adjustments made through the upper dorsal and throughout the cervical area; as in reference to circulation to the upper portion of the body, and particularly to the eyes, ears and nasal passages. Also, when these are made, there should be some reference or strengthening given to the pelvic center and bone. While these are much improved from that condition as we have had heretofore, an adjustment or stimulation - now - will help the body a great deal. Then we would have adjustments made for the glasses to meet those conditions that will have been brought about in the body; for these will then be more in keeping with that as would bring the bettered conditions and better help to the body in study or in close activity or work.
16. (Q) Please advise me on the condition of my teeth and gums. Should I consult a dentist; if so, name one?
1467-10 Page 3
(A) Any that is consistent with thy own judgment and in whom ye have confidence, but consult a dentist. And use the equal combination of salt and soda (dampened), and Ipsab occasionally, as a toughener and a hardener for the gums. Also we find that these will be materially aided by the adjustments in the dorsal and cervical areas.
17. (Q) Please suggest a man that is capable of building up my left shoe in the manner that was given through this information. Give any changes that should be made in the one I now wear. (A) As we find, this has been very well done. While this is not so well as the first, through those same channels that this first was done it can be brought about.
18. (Q) How may I become better acquainted with my son, [...] considering the conditions surrounding both of us? (A) By association, by conversation, and most in that as indicated. Put thyself in his place. And be that thou would desire that thy own father be.
19. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to advise my family to take my sister, [1540], out of the institution at this time? (A) In about three to four weeks, yes. As indicated, then there must be a cooperation with several.
20. (Q) At that time, will this be well for [1540] and all concerned? (A) This would depend, of course, a great deal upon conditions. But as indicated, by that time there should be such conditions that it would be more satisfactory to all. But let those who are to assist in this cooperation know that such MUST be done.
21. (Q) Where is the place that she should live in order that she will gain her health and be in a near normal condition? (A) With the father.
22. (Q) Please advise me how I may aid her physically and spiritually. (A) As just indicated, for three to four weeks let it be as it is. Then would be the period when conditions are to be met, that may not be indicated at this present time, to be sure.
23. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to try to collect the back pay owing me by ... Grocery Co. according to the wage and hour law that went into effect in 1938, which they have not observed? (A) They should be REMINDED of same, but DO NOT make it a condition that would cause that priority as already attained to be lost. But make them aware of their position. Adjustment will be made.
24. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to get in contact with Mr. [...], the president of the company, for an increase in salary?
1467-10 Page 4
(A) Would be well.
25. (Q) Please give me any mental or spiritual advice that would help me at this time. (A) Consider that given as to thy friend, thy brother. Make it personal. Nothing can come closer to meeting, to answering thy problems, than His promise - if ye will make it thine own.
