Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Virginia.
1. HLC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1467], present in this room, together with the conditions of his body, his present employment, his relation to present world conditions, his obligations to his wife and his son, his fitness for service with the Merchant Marines, and his automobile. You will go into these thoroughly and give definite information, counsel and advice which will be easily understood by him. You will answer the questions which he will ask:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1467]; present in this room.
3. In the physical forces of the body, we find these in the main very good. There are disturbances, to be sure, but these are of the local or minor natures; as conditions that have existed with the teeth, gums, these have improved. Naturally, from the general activities in the present surroundings, these are conditions that become conducive to giving that effect in the body as to produce disturbances that cause irritation, or minor infection, against which the body builds resistances.
4. As there has been added to the body the effective resistances in the gums, these are allayed. And with the keeping occasionally of the use of those properties indicated, as in Ipsab, this condition will be kept in abeyance.
5. The same as in conditions indicated with the feet. Here we have infectious forces, but tetrachloride - a combination of those applications found in the compound called DOG ON FOOT will allay and relieve these disturbances. Apply this nightly for at least a week or ten days, leave off for a little while, and then apply again. This will eradicate the disturbances.
6. As for the conditions with eyes - these, we find, are much better, but if there is the choice by the body for
1467-14 Page 2
changes in the environ or activities, these, we find, will not necessarily need any changing. But when there is reading, studying, or any close work, do use them.
7. As for the relationships respecting car - when the conditions with the government's activities are taken into consideration - it would be well at this time to dispose of the car - for the best for self in the material ways.
8. As to relationships with the present environs and workings - while these are good, those conditions that have been a part of the experience are being investigated. As to whether this will be closed by those in authority higher up, depends upon how severe the Interstate Commerce judgment is that is passed on same. But it will NOT be closed as some in which there have been some questionings that have arisen.
9. As for consideration of service of the body with the country - this necessarily must be a factor determined within self. There is no greater service one may render than being true to one's own convictions. These are purposes for which an entity experiences activities in the material plane. And those that remain true to their ideals, in sincerity, in hope, in faith, in that way which is in keeping with the ideals of the body, may be very sure that the spirit of truth, of good, of God, will direct them into paths of righteousness - even though they may be in error at times.
10. As to whether the entity should leave its present environs, considering the home, the wife, the son - this must be decided within self. But if the choice is made to join in, to offer self in the defense of an ideal, of a purpose, know that this must be done in hope, in faith, and in the purpose to FULFILL a greater expression of that ye sincerely, honestly believe, and not for an escape, not for an excuse, but as giving of self in a service, in which there is the fulfilling of a purposefulness in self to be not merely as a hero, not merely as for fame or for fortune, but for an ideal.
11. As to whether the entity should choose this may not be given from here, but must be answered deep within self.
12. As for the relationships with wife, with son:
13. There has been given how there should be a union of purpose. Then, do not cause ANY of those conflicts PURPOSEFULLY to have thine own way, but let rather it be, "LORD, HAVE THY WAY WITH ME."
14. As for the son - advise, counsel with the son, but let him join the Navy as soon as he desires to!
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) Is the Quinine hair tonic that I am using the
1467-14 Page 3
correct brand? If not, please suggest the correct one? (A) This is very good - this is Quinoil.
17. (Q) What is cause and relief for tiredness in my legs? (A) Much of it comes from the infectious forces in the toes and between the toes. The use of the properties indicated should relieve these entirely.
18. (Q) What is cause and cure for the twitching in my shoulder? (A) That strain which has existed for some time, of course, finds reflection in the superficial nerve forces as affected by the infection through the body in minor ways and manners. A little exercise, or hot water - as in bath, as in a pack or of such natures, will relieve same.
19. (Q) Please give me any other mental and spiritual advice that will help me at this time. (A) None better may be given than that which has been indicated here. Take the time to put on paper, "I believe - I believe -" Let this refer to thy faith in a God, a living God, as manifested in Jesus the Christ. "I believe His purpose in the earth - I believe this promise, that promise of His -" Then, live like it! For He came into the earth to teach YOU - as He did others, to know themselves to be children of God and to live like such.
