Born June 21, 1890, in Chicago, Ill. Time of Reading 11:00 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: (Going back over years from present " - '30, '29 - lots of change - '28, '27 - " etc., on back to birth date).

2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1468].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find, that is chosen which seemeth to be that which may be the most hopeful, the most experiencing of the entity's influences in the present; that these may be helpful in the experience in finding its relationship to the Creative Forces in this experience, and the manner of dealing with the material conditions for the greater soul development.

4. For the purpose of the entering of an entity or soul into any experience is that there may be that applied in which the entity may become more and more aware of the divine love, in which each and every soul lives and moves and has its being.

5. For God IS! As the mind, as the body, as the soul conceives, in its experience and its dealings with the fellow man, to become aware of the knowledge of same the application must be made in those directions that become constructive ever in the experience of the entity.

6. That the sojourns of an entity in the earth's plane produce influences upon the emotions, or the emotional forces of an entity, is apparent. Just as the visitation of a body-consciousness into an environ produces an added incentive for activity in a given direction. Just as the sojourns of an entity in the environs about the earth, that ye call the astrological aspects, become an innate portion of the experiences.

7. These as combined make for then the urges that arise innately, or mentally, and those emotionally in the experience in any given appearance or activity.

1468-1 Page 2

8. Then for this entity, [1468] as called, we find these become a portion of the entity's experiences:

9. The ruling influence in the present sojourn we find from Venus. Hence we find love, friendships, harmony, activity of a benevolent nature, influences that make for the harmonious experiences or peace in the experience, become as those innate urges that are sought.

10. While the turmoils of experience in the application of these about the entity become haranguing at times, these are ever as those influences sought in the activities of the entity.

11. Hence in the material experiences, in whatever sphere of activity in which the entity may engage in its material associations, these become as paramount issues in the experiences of such associations.

12. In Jupiter we find both an adverse and a benevolent influence. Hence we find the dealings with masses become rather as those things that have brought disappointments, while those with certain classes or certain activities of the nature that have to do with the many bring at times greater satisfaction into the mental experience of the entity.

13. Yet these as we find are ever, then, as the lessons that the soul, the inner self, needs to learn.

14. For to revert for the moment to the purposes again: Each soul enters an experience that it may become more and more at an at-oneness with that Creative Force. And if the love of the Father, as is manifested among the children of men, is held as the ideal, more and more will there grow into the experience of this entity that which is not MERELY gratifying but harmonious in EVERY relationship of its experience.

15. In Saturn we find those influences that have brought changes in the experience, that have become at times very definite. And these become again as stepping-stones or stumbling-stones, as they have been and are applied in the experience as in relationships to Creative Forces.

16. For what the individual soul entity manifests in its dealings with others, that indeed must it meet again and again.

17. Hence it behooves each entity in the analyzing of self and its desires and its purposes and its hopes, to oft stand aside as it were and watch itself pass by.

18. For as in the experiences of the entity in those sojourns, and especially that individual one that stands out beyond or above the others, from that which has brought into the experience those forces and influences of love and

1468-1 Page 3

love's influence, there comes that longing for that cry - yea, for that voice that was an experience, "Behold, He passeth by!"

19. As to the influences then from the activities in the material plane or the material sojourns that become a part of the emotions of the body-entity, we find:

20. Before this the entity was in the land of the present nativity, in the activities now known as or called Philadelphia, or "the city of brotherly love."

21. It was during those periods when there were the establishings of the land.

22. The entity then was among those of the Brethren, as they were called, the Friends, that made for the interpretations of the teachings that were to make the individuals free in their worship of the promptings of their hearts or the influences from without and their dealings with their fellow man.

23. There the entity was a teacher, that was known among the peoples in that city - teachings not that may be said to be of the common school or of what we now know as an individual activity, but rather those where the home, the religious thought, the application of same in every form became a part of the activity.

24. The entity then was in the name Edith Maxwoll.

25. In the experience the entity gained, for again and again there were those activities in which the essence of that taught by Him was expressed; that is, just being kind and patient - which is the greatest activity a soul may perform in any experience or condition.

26. For "As ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them" is not merely an axiom but a life, an experience, a consciousness, that may bring the greater bulwark of safety under any condition or experience that may be practised in the experiences of a soul or entity.

27. And this was the guiding force of the entity through that sojourn.

28. Hence we will find in the present the ability to minister to others in their helpful needs, their activities for a greater understanding in a statistical as well as in those applications where those things that become as research, as in those activities of same, may become a part of the entity's desire and nature - and following same bring joy.

29. Before that we find the entity was in that land or experience from which the greater knowledge, the greater joy has been or may be the influence to make for the weal or the woe in the experience ever.

1468-1 Page 4

30. For it was during those periods when the Master walked in the earth, and during those periods when the Master was seen and heard by many in the triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

31. During those sojourns of the individuals from many portions of the Judean land, the entity was then among those peoples of the hill country that came to the city during those periods of the feast - when there was the triumphal entry into Jerusalem.

32. The entity for the first time then saw (though it had heard of) the activities of the man called Jesu, or Jesus, in those experiences.

33. And when there were the cries of "Hosanna!" and there were the processions, these brought strange feelings to the entity, as a harking to something that had lain dormant within the experiences of self - and the wonder became rather that of a worshipfulness.

34. THEN the entity, as Mariaerh, made overtures; joining with those for the searching out of those activities of that strange new experience of self.

35. And the entity in those periods became among those that ministered to needs of those that were supplied by the gifts of those during the days following the persecutions and the establishing of the church, or the groups in the various portions of the city.

36. The entity grew in years and joined with the activities, for it was only in its teens when these began; and the entity was from the upper portion of the Judean land.

37. Hence we will find in the present that which was held to, in the giving of service to those that may minister in the various fields of activity, becomes an innate longing within the soul; the searching out of those that are the promptings becomes an innate and a manifested portion of the entity's activities.

38. Thus again we may find the arousing within the entity's inner self of that which becomes the motivative force for the experiences in a material plane. Though it may come oft under the guise of servitude or service, or activities in the various spheres, with those experiences as the promptings - time passeth; and in time and in space and in patience man becomes aware of his relationship to that we worship as God.

39. These are the days when the paths must be made straight, that indeed there may be peace on earth, good will to men.

40. For, even as He gave on that memorial day, if the people do not proclaim Him - or if the people had not cried "Hosanna!" - the very rocks, the very trees, the very nature

1468-1 Page 5

about, would cry out AGAINST those opportunities lost by the children of men - to proclaim the great day of the Lord!

41. Hence in the experience of the entity, as He - these do not become as tenets do not become as edicts, but as OPPORTUNITIES in the experience of self to make each association, each contact, more and more aware of the love the Father hath shown to the children of men - if they seek to know His face.

42. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Persian or the Arabian, during those periods when those peoples of the Grecian land journeyed for those activities to overcome, to belittle the activities of the teacher Uhjltd in the "city in the hills and in the plains."

43. The entity then was among those of the groups that were brought by one Creton [?] into that activity; and then when the activities became known, more and more did the entity - as Celcia - make for the ministering to the sick, the ill, those that were to be healed by not merely faith but an activity of the mind and of the material forces and influences in the experiences of individuals in every walk of life.

44. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost, the entity made the activities that bring into the present experience the doubts and fears that arise when the application of tenets becomes rote and they lose their effectiveness.

45. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Egyptian, during the periods when there were turmoils and strifes from those activities that arose with the banishment of the Priest.

46. The entity then was among those who went into banishment; for the entity held to the tenets as proclaimed by Ra-Ta in that experience, that sojourn.

47. Hence with the return, with the reestablishing, the entity was among those that aided in the activities in the Temple of Sacrifice; and, beset by those needs for those that came under the law of recompense and sacrifice, aided in the establishing of those forces that are known in the present as the hospitalization - or the separation and segregation of individuals for the study of particular interests that may be applied in the experience of individuals.

48. The name then was Shu-Tun.

49. The entity was of the Natives in that particular experience, and among the few of the same that went into exile and raised to one of authority in the return.

50. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then,

1468-1 Page 6

and that to which it may attain, and how:

51. As has been indicated, as is seen from the experiences and sojourns of the entity in the earth, LOVE doth rule - and the manifestation of same in whatever choice of association with its fellow man MUST BE the channel through which the greater material success may be gained, the greater mental satisfaction may be had, the greater soul development may be obtained.

52. Study then to show thyself approved unto that thou hast set as thine ideal. Know it is not of the earth-earthy, but rather in the spirit of truth and mercy and judgment.

53. For these be the channels through which He hath promised, and His promises are sure. Let thy yeas be yea, thy nays be nay IN THE LORD; for His ways are not past finding out! And they that seek Him may find Him. For He hath promised to answer when ye call, and to answer speedily.

54. May that love, that peace, as ye find in the cry of "Hosanna to the king!" ever be the promptings of thy heart in this experience; that the beauty, the joys as He hath promised may be fulfilled in thee; that "they may be where I am, that they may behold the glory I had with thee before the world was!"

55. For ye have all been with Him from the beginnings of the experiences of the separations, that ye might be companions, as one with Him.

56. Ready for questions.

57. (Q) Why have I always been so alone? (A) Seeking for that answering as ye heard in that cry, and it is coming - coming - nigh unto thee soon!

58. (Q) Is there any particular reason why I shouldn't find companionship in marriage? (A) None. While the entity, the self, has held back, or has held the thought innately that there are hindrances in such, this is from those experiences and teachings following the separations of self, during that sojourn in the Palestine activity. For those tenets were then set by some that "he that weddeth doeth well, he that weddeth not doeth better." Hence there has been ever that questioning as to whether there were not those hindrances that would prevent the full expression of that being sought. But the day groweth nigh when these associations shall be accomplished in fact, materially.

59. (Q) Am I right in feeling that marriage might help me

1468-1 Page 7

find my life work or place in society? (A) This is NOT amiss; but build, as has been indicated, in that which has been given thee. KNOW that the way of the Lord is right, and as the union of hearts and minds and bodies brings the opportunities for the greater expressions, then in union there is strength - and these will bring the strengthening of purposes, the strengthening of desires. IN the Lord keep them ever.

60. (Q) Why am I such a misfit? (A) The body is NOT a misfit; though oft misunderstood. But let that little leaven leaven the whole experience in the present. Seek ye to do His biddings, ever. He will show thee the way.

61. (Q) What are the lights which I see coming and going, like twinkling stars? (A) As there were those varying lights that appeared when ye first beheld the company following the Master, they are as the ways being pointed for the greater awakening, the greater understanding in thy spiritual and mental experiences in the earth. These are AS the influences such as we have given in regard to the urges from astrological sojourns and from experiences in the earth; they are signs, omens. Not to be worshipped AS such; but as He gave the light of the rainbow to those of old, they are as but the keeping of the promise to thee, that thy ways, thy works, thy activities are not forgotten before Him. They are assurances, then, of His love, of His care. Then with HIM ye can never, no never, feel or be alone.

62. (Q) Would my life work be writing? (A) These are as experiences that applied in giving the beauties of love, not in the material alone but as to how the divine love overcomes, may bring help, aid and hope. And he that saves a soul through hope renewed hath covered a multitude of shortcomings. These would be well - but as in cards, in verse, in the stories of the way to Jerusalem - from Bethany to Jerusalem, from the Temple to the Cross - these would be well.

63. (Q) Is there anything I can do to help it come through? (A) Look within - these will aid. BEGIN it! As ye use that ye have in hand, more and more will be given thee. But, as has been depicted for thee, can ye not see the place, the little town in the hills from which ye journeyed to the city of the many strange noises, the many strange

1468-1 Page 8

lights, the many unusual customs to THINE own tenets! and then this new experience of He that brought hope and cheer to those that were ill in body, those that had lost hope through the holding to material things and to the old tenets of tradition? And can you not see the great throng as they spread their garments - yea, those of high and low estate or position - and all the wonderment and loveliness of companionship sought in the material ways? These became a vision. Build upon it, carrying - as it were - thine own part in same. And it may be brought through to a BEAUTIFUL, helpful experience - From Bethany to Jerusalem!

64. (Q) Is the trouble in my throat from glands, nerves, or a psychic source? Please explain the cause, if it is spiritual, and just what I should do about it. (A) This may be best had from the Physical approach through this channel rather than the whole life experience. It is a part of same, may be used as an experience or stepping-stone. Best be approached from the Physical. Hold to that thought - The Way From Bethany to the Temple - to Jerusalem!
