1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, Miss [1471].

2. As we find, in giving that as may be helpful for this particular body, many of the physical conditions as well as the mental attitudes must be taken into consideration - if the applications of that as we find might be helpful would be applied in that spirit of cooperative forces in bringing relief.

3. The conditions have been rather a growth; that is, hindrances that through negative thought as well as sometimes negative reactions have allowed some of the disturbances to become as a constitutional condition.

4. Hence these must be taken into consideration in the manner in which these have affected and do affect the functioning of the organs of the body itself.

5. It is very true that MIND is the control, Mind is the Builder, and Mind may be made wholly a spiritual force or source. Yet remember these as related to a physical being work through a physical organism, in every atom of which there are energies as within themselves.

6. Hence often there are the needs, as we find in this particular condition, that there be the application of the mechanical means as well as the influences that will work directly upon the functioning of the system as related to the physical body.

7. True, the active principles - even of these - must be in their ESSENCE of a creative nature or force; else they become not coordinant with the activities of the mental and spiritual forces of the body.

8. These then from the physical activity we find as disturbing forces in this body of [1471] we are speaking of:

9. The blood supply indicates how that the toxic forces and the activities of the organs of assimilation and elimination have been and are clogged with the poisons of refuse forces in the system, until there are those specific reactions with the organs of the activity in the digestive forces.

1471-1 Page 2

10. Or in the gall duct area, the liver's activity and its coordination with the lower portion of the hepatic circulation, we have such as to produce those contractions in the muscular forces throughout this disturbed circulation; until we have both an arthritic and a neuritic reaction or activity.

11. Hence there are periods or times, and especially under some stresses or strains, when the very movements or activities of the body, or the pressures from the activity of the atmospheric reactions, produce contraction and pains and disturbance and distress - or stress - upon the whole of the nervous systems of the body; until there are ACUTE pains.

12. These are also indicated in the effect of the natural reactions these have upon other portions of the system - as in the sensory organism of the body.

13. All of these become a part of the disturbing forces.

14. Hence in making applications for helpful forces, we will find these will appear to be as long drawn out. But not only must there be that as would make for the relieving of the specific or acute conditions that arise at times in the body, but that which - even though with the strains produced by these - would become, with the ability of the bodily forces themselves as well as the constitutional reactions, able to eliminate the CAUSES of the disturbances from the system; if these applications would be of MATERIAL or lasting benefit to the bodily forces themselves.

15. From the congestion and the activities of the poisons as indicated in the blood supply, these make for pressures upon the nerve system and systems of the body; especially in those areas or ganglia, or the locomotory axis and centers we find conditions where the extremities become involved in the disturbances themselves.

16. And these produce, to be sure, the greater disturbance in locomotion or activity or physical exercise or exertion.

17. These all become a part of the whole or general condition, but are effects rather than causes; the causes arising from the conditions as we have indicated.

18. In the activities of organs themselves, as has been indicated, more specifically these arise from the functioning of the hepatic circulation as related to the deeper and also to the superficial circulation - with the effect produced upon the sensory system by their pressures or activity upon the superficial or vegetative nerve systems of the body.

19. Hence the organs of the sensory forces - as eyes, ears, taste, feeling, effects upon the whole of the system or as

1471-1 Page 3

related to the senses - become involved in the condition.

20. The general health, the general activities to the body will materially aid; and thus such conditions as those disturbances in the eye, those even that have to do with the throat and head at times, had better have specific applications or activities for same AFTER there have been those applications of sufficient period of reaction to STIMULATE the general health of the body.

21. These general treatments had better be given first, as we will indicate; as the organs or portions of the body in their functioning have set up their activity from the very vibratory forces of the body created by the disturbances of a general nature.

22. In making the applications, then, as we would find in the present:

23. We would begin first with the Cabinet Sweats, followed with the Fume Baths of specific nature. The Fume Baths would be taken twice a week, but one time use the fumes from Tincture of Iodine and the next time Spirits of Camphor - a tablespoonful to half a pint of water, and let this be allowed to steam as from a vapor cup FOLLOWING the Cabinet Bath when the body has been relaxed by the heat from same, see? and the Fume Bath would require only a few minutes - or fifteen to twenty minutes.

24. But following same (that is, the Cabinet and the Fume Bath - after both have been taken, at the same time, you see - or both of these taken twice a week), we would have a thorough massage and rubdown - for these will greatly aid in the superficial circulation, by the manner of such manipulations or massages.

25. Each day we would use also the activities of the Radio-Active Appliance, that will enable the body to rest - if the attachments are kept properly in their order of circulation about the body, in the applications of the anodes for the activities of same. Use the Appliance for thirty minutes to an hour each day, for periods of three to four weeks, leave off a week or ten days, and then take again for periods of three to four weeks. Keep the anodes clean. Make the circle about the body with the attachments; that is, right wrist, left ankle; left wrist, right ankle; left ankle, right wrist; right ankle, left wrist - then begin with the right wrist and left ankle again, and so on - around the body.

26. We find that the diet would be much in keeping with what has been indicated. The vegetables, the fruits and the nuts, preferably - instead of too great quantities of meats; though fish, fowl and lamb may be included in such

1471-1 Page 4

proportions as will not only satisfy but will build the necessary influences for the activities of the other properties upon the bodily forces themselves.

27. Do these; then after sixty to ninety days we would give further instructions for this particular disturbance.

28. Do that.

29. Ready for questions.

30. (Q) What may be done to correct trouble with eyes, poor vision, etc.? (A) As indicated, let there be first sustained a better general physical condition - and then the SPECIFIC reactions may be more DEFINITELY given. For the general health improved, the vision or the activities of all the organs of the sensory system would be benefitted by renewed vitality in the body. The activity of the Radio-Active Appliance is to reionize or revitalize the circulatory forces disturbed by pressures upon the nervous system, or systems, in the body itself; while the applications of the Cabinet Sweats and Fume Baths with the medications as indicated will so stimulate as to make for bettering of the conditions. Because improvements are noted, do not leave off. Take these regularly. Of course, after a month or six weeks, leave off for two to three weeks - even with the Cabinet Baths - but begin again. And at the end of the sixty to ninety days we would give further instructions.

31. (Q) Could I be given the name of a physician in Brooklyn, N.Y., who will be qualified to carry out this treatment? (A) Anyone where that we may make for the insistence that these suggested applications be given in the manner indicated. Of course, the Appliance may be taken at home; while the Cabinet Sweats would rather be given therapeutically under a hydrotherapist who uses the Fume Baths also.
