1. GC: You will have before you the entity, [1472], born May 5, 1880, in Bowling Green, Virginia, who is now present in this room. You will give a detail biographical account of her record of the early American incarnation as Clementine, including names and dates connected with her parentage and life before coming to Virginia and her activities in America, interpreting for her the urges from this period especially as they bear on her activities in the present life relating to serving America. You will answer the questions which she submits regarding her associations and activities.
2. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1472].
3. In giving the biographical sketch, some of the conditions which existed in this new land - the reasons, the purposes and the intents of the entity's entering the experience, - must be indicated at least.
4. To be sure, much may be had from the general records, but oft very little of a very personal nature is indicated in such.
5. There had been many reports to the entity's family in Sussex, England, as to the happenings, the lives, the conditions which existed in this new land.
6. In the English land, and among the families and associates of the entity, there had been discussions as to religious as well as the political liberties of individuals.
7. Then, there had also been those experiences and the knowledge of where there had been the choosing of many maidens to come to the land to act in the capacity as companions or wives of many of those who had come to this new land.
8. All of these had been a part of the entity's thought, the entity's activities within its own experience. And there was the thought or purpose (as indicated in the experience of the entity in the present) to become independent, and of
1472-11 Page 2
independent thought, as well as to be active in a manner that would redown [redound?] in the main or general manner to the thoughts, the purposes, the lives, of men - in the social as well as other activities in many phases and walks of life.
9. Hence the entity determined to come to this land, not knowing how nor in what manner, or under what pretense such might be brought about. Yet we find with the various actions and natures of the groups of peoples from this land, with those of the Boyntons that later were known as the Byrds in this land - America - the entity came; taking the place of some of those who had been persuaded - by material ties - not to come.
10. In 1750 (seventeen fifty) the entity came; then settling in those portions of the land that are a part of Surrey County, in Virginia, and the portions that later became known as Williamsburg and Jamestown.
11. All of those activities became a part of the entity's experience.
12. And the entity immediately, or in the course of its activities, began to give expression to that determination, to persuade or dissuade individuals and groups as to the ideas and purposes which had prompted the individual activities.
13. These brought, of course, closer relationships with those in authority during those periods; and those that may be known as the better names in the early history of the Virginian activity were associates and a part of those influences wrought by the entity during the experience.
14. What relationships do these activities bear, then, to the present day?
15. As we find, as the purposes then were for the freedom of activity under the united efforts of both the laboring man and capital, or those of the white shirt as well as the hickory shirt, these become now - as then - an activity to be reckoned with - and as the entity proclaimed to many in those experiences, they that labored not should not eat - or they that worked not with the purposes to make a united effort in preserving, in the founding of those principles that were stable, in that they were founded upon creative impulse and influence and affluence, rather than upon individual making for power - or might making right.
16. These are the basic principles as have to do with the turmoils and strifes in the land in the present. And thus, as the entity made for a greater united effort by the very associations and activities during those experiences, so may it in its associations, its affiliations and its activities,
1472-11 Page 3
sow those same seed of constructive, creative, spiritual and mental influence that makes for the bringing of love, temperance, peace, harmony, patience, brotherly love, kindness, mercy in the experiences of those who PRACTICE same in their lives.
17. When journeying to the American land the entity was twenty and two years of age; of the families of Cornwall in England, but known only and ever in the Virginian experience as Clementine.
18. In the activities the entity worked with teaching, ministering, lecturing, bringing material and spiritual - spiritual actions in the affairs of the peoples of the land.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) When, where and what have been my former associations with the entity now known as [1848]? (A) These were of different periods, but their activities in the varied spheres of their sojourns in the Virginian land were known of, and their PURPOSES were similar. Thus, that of a sympathetic relation, and not physical at all.
21. (Q) Am I correct in interpreting the similarity of my astrological sojourns with those of [1848] to indicate the advisability of a present association with him in the interests of the United States? If so, please advise the most effective procedure to obtain this end, and tell me what should be my specific place and part in the work? (A) As we find, as indicated, the astrological aspects show a unison or oneness of purpose. As to the advisability of a physical association or activity - this would depend upon many of the circumstances as will or may arise within the conditions not only of the individuals but of those determinations of those who are to wield - through their giving of choice - the selection of activities. As these have been of one purpose, there should still be - in their various spheres of activity - a oneness of purpose. Then - if the circumstance, if the bring about those activities in which these may be united as an individual effort - very well. But in those offices as might have to do with the labor questions, if there becomes the opportunities, would be the channels through which greater UNITED effort may be brought about.
22. (Q) Should I get rid of Virginia [...], my present secretary, and take Helen [...] in her place? Would the change be satisfactory and harmonious? (A) For a period, at least, a great deal more satisfactory
1472-11 Page 4
and harmonious; and if there is the practising of the principles in the associations, continued so. We would find it advisable.
23. (Q) Have I had any past associations with the entity now known as Dr. Norman Rittenhouse? What is the source - (A) This as we find, as heretofore indicated, was a knowledge of and an understanding of the principles as motivated the forces of same, more than the physical associations together.
24. (Q) What is the source of the information, on which he bases his teaching; and is he correct in his statement that I will henceforth be closely associated with [1151] in working out the destiny of America? (A) These are twofold as to their questioning. Sources? Judge best for thyself. If they measure up to that which is and has been thy ideal, then think on them. We do not find them that you would entertain too much. As to those prognostications - these as we find will depend upon choices as will be made through the varying circumstances as arise. Remember, there are spiritual laws and there are laws of cause and effect, which are both spiritual and material. The choice is given to individuals, which is of spiritual sources in its essence. As to what individuals do with opportunities, these are the individuals' choice. As to whether these are to lead in the reorganizing or stabilizing of America at this time depends upon MANY of those influences as have here been indicated.
25. (Q) How should I invest the money I have withdrawn from the Young Management Corporation? Would the real estate proposition proposed by my sister be advisable? (A) It's advisable, but rather slow. If there is the desire to take the chances, and to make same grow, invest in those that are of such a nature as to stabilize the security of America.
26. (Q) Aside from the influence of the books which Jacob Boehme wrote when he was on the earth plane 365 years ago, does he in any other way guide and influence my present life? (A) As the spirit that directed or prompted the activities of Jacob Boehme is allowed to be the influence and directing force in the life of self, so does it become a unison of purpose. Principles that influence individuals answer to something within themselves, as prompted by similar activity in
1472-11 Page 5
material experiences. For, knowledge is made aware in the experience of individuals in a physical plane by material manifestation. That's what sense means. Just as has been indicated, that there were similar promptings in the mind of the entity and in Erichlson, as they acted in a new vibratory force or rate in a new environ. Thus are they brought now, in this experience, in a manner such that their vibrations may bring the abilities - through their mental selves - to choose a paralleled activity, or that which would diverge from some individual circumstance or environ. The same is indicated in the experience of Boehme as with the entity - or a better illustration for the entity would be: As the experience of the entity or soul as Judy [in Palestine] made its impressions upon the soul here, by the seeking, the longing for the spirit of understanding as to how, in what manner a materialized influence would save man in his reckless use of divine laws - this was exemplified in that the entity saw in Him. So in the present these are hard at times to stay with, in a material world, and yet the entity may not, cannot erase from itself that die, that cast, that shadow of Him - and the Cross.
