R E A D I N G
Born January 13, 1888, [3:20 A. M. as per Par. 66-A below] in New York City. Time of Reading 3:25 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present - "1924 - change of thought and direction - '23 - '17 - again material influence of a change - '16 - " etc., on back to birth.)
2. Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1473].
3. What an unusual shape! as if this in itself had much to do with that the entity has had to do with the unifying of thought of those who have sought to interpret the records left by the sages, as ye would call, of old.
4. This in itself would appear to signify that the entity's application of self in the present will find a greater outlet for itself in seeking the correlation of those tenets and truths left by those in the eons and ages, that have attempted to leave for posterity - or man - a vision of that which prompted the activities of human endeavor throughout the ages.
5. And as to how they are, as through the solar as well as the years as by the fixed stars, come into the experience of man to bring a new order in the dealings with the elements, and the activities of same as related to the associations of man's endeavor.
6. Is there little wonder then that television, radio, flying have a DEEP influence? Not so much the act as the influence such has upon the relationships of man as his brother, under the varied climes or varied aspects of the experience.
7. But to give the interpretations from the records of time and space, or the akashic records, of this entity called [1473] in the present:
8. Those influences - as the entity experiences - that arise in the relationships to mind as the controlling factor in

the experience of a human entity, are correlative and have their relative relationships to the astrological aspects, the numerological influences, as well as those from sojourns of an entity or soul in materiality or in matter.
9. Hence we find, while these are influences - relative - none of these surpass the will of the individual entity.
10. For the will is a portion of the soul-entity, a part of - or creation itself. And as every atomic structure of the bodily force is in relationships as one to another, so each soul in its relationships to a universality of activity, of evolution, as of the very movement of itself through time and space, becomes a part of an influence.
11. Yet will is dominant even of that.
12. Hence choice and will become the predominant forces; and the urges that arise in the human experience as from this that makes for that which is ruled by the mind, ruled by the influences from the astrological aspects, may allow itself to be influenced, or may influence those in other aspects to a greater or lesser degree, according to their relative relationship from a numerological aspect.
13. As One is the factor, and every division of same becomes a portion of that unit, so do we find from the astrological aspect the influences from Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Mars, Saturn, with the effects - for this entity - of the Moon and the Sun.
14. For Two becomes a factor in the experience of the entity; not as a divided influence but rather the abilities to weigh or compare in the experience of the entity two degrees beyond that of many with whom the entity may find even much in common.
15. In Jupiter we find influences accredited by astrology as not only protectorate but as disseminating among the masses.
16. Hence the influences in which the entity may find itself engaged, or the influences that arise from its material activity will affect many - the masses rather than the individuals; though to be sure reaching same through individual application.
17. From Uranus we find the EXTREME influences. Hence the entity's experiences are those as of just ready to grasp the meaning of much being sought, in the interest of the occult and the spiritual influences and forces; and again to the very depths of "No use - it escapes me!" These then become factors in the experience of the mental forces of the entity, in which there is manifested from the spiritual aspect the Mind - AND Choice, AND Will.
18. Venus as the friendship or love influence has very unusual aspects, with the aspects of Jupiter, Uranus AND

Saturn with Mars. There are very few whom the entity trusts ENTIRELY; yet holding friendship, love, and those influences ordinarily accredited in Venus as of the beautiful, as of the music, as of those factors in same, as that which may bridge often that which is lacking in this full trust.
19. The influences of Saturn make for the changes that have been at definite periods in the experience of the entity in the present sojourn, and into the way of its mental thinking - not only that but as to the environmental forces or influences, and the manner of application as related to same.
20. Mars has made for those forces where anger, wrath and the like have become such at times that the necessity of choice became paramount to be weighed with those innate feelings that all of such experiences are worthy of being considered, and not thrown aside lightly; neither are they to be dwelt upon in such measures or manners as to become paramount.
21. For the creating of anger breeds contempt. Contempt gone to fruition breeds strife, and makes for disturbing forces that become - in the experiences of the entity - those things that bring inharmony.
22. As to the influences that arise from sojourns in the earth, we find these are unusual as compared to most.
23. For, as from the very shape (a harp) of the record itself, we find the entity's creating or making - through many of the sojourns - those activities that make for ONE becoming so much more outstanding than the others that it becomes as a thread through the whole efforts of the entity.
24. To be sure, its horizon of vision becomes lost in the confusion of time, in the confusion of circumstances oft; yet there may be seen the thread throughout those sojourns that we find influencing the entity in the present.
25. Not that all are given here, for as the very cycle of numerological aspects turns about, or as the wheel of fortune or fate (as may be termed by some) goes about its activities, irrespective of that which is done, then opportunities come.
26. Each awareness of an association brings its influence that arises from the emotions created from the portions of the experiences in the varied spheres of activity in the earth.
27. These then are given that from same there may be gathered hopeful, helpful aspects for practical application in the activities of the entity in its relationships as one to another.
28. That ordinarily termed or called theological in its

nature has become almost nil in the experience; while that termed SPIRITUAL has grown and does grow more and more paramount in the activities of the entity.
29. That these (the theological and the spiritual) have grown and are growing farther and farther apart in the affairs of man as a whole, as is viewed by the entity, is a fault - a failure of man to grasp the ONE thought, the ONE ideal, that would be held in such a way as to know that these must be ONE, in that "I AM my brother's keeper!"
30. As to the appearances in the earth of this entity, [1473], we find:
31. Before this we find the entity was in the land of its present nativity, when many in England - yea, in the Dutch lands - were being considered for joining the activities in America.
32. It was when many of those were brought as hostages (?), no - rather as the outlet for seeking of companionship; though there were those that took advantage of same and SOLD those girls, those that became the mothers of a NEW generation, a new peoples.
33. WHY such might have been the choice of the entity, one Marggie Benden will be seen from that thread; that to begin anew, to make for the delving into the new fields of thought, of opportunities, of that looked upon as new frontiers of the mind, the body, and the environs and surroundings.
34. These were the promptings that brought the entity into the land, now known as Virginia.
35. And in the family known as Calhoun - Marge Calhoun, the entity then became known in the new land; where those opportunities for the making of home, the activities for state, for nations, brought developments.
36. In the experience the entity gained, yet made for those things where there was the trying out of what may have been termed ideas as to the manners of activity in relationships to mass influence upon communities and states.
37. And there were those of the entity's own descendents that made for that very force in the forming of much in the activities of the nation, in the later years.
38. In the present from that sojourn we find the calling for that search, or feeling as to those that try new things as it were - yea, new experiences of any nature become interesting, but afar from the entity, from those experiences there.
39. Before that we find the entity was in the experiences of that now known as the Arabian and the Persian plain, when those activities from the Cretans (?), the Arabians or Arabs

or nomads overran the land.
40. The entity was among those peoples of the Persians that were in the household of Croesus, the king; and a relative or relation to the wife of the king, the daughters of the king.
41. And when those activities in the 'city in the hills and plains' began to be felt in many of the nations about, the entity sought to know the sources of that leader's power as a healer, as an interpreter of the travels of those between the land of the Gobi, the Indian, the Egyptian, the Carpathian, the Pyrenees, even of the Grecians - that were then beginning to become felt in those experiences.
42. The entity then became what would be termed today as a seeress in the experience. And the interpretations of that which in the latter portions and during those periods arose in Persia were set by the entity; as the star, the crescent, what would be called flags or emblems that made for the influencing of the peoples - these were first propounded, first offered by the entity then, as Majgugo.
43. In the experience the entity gained, the entity lost, the entity gained. Gained through those very services rendered, lost through turning same into self-aggrandizement; gained when the understandings came that the interpretation must be of the universal rather than of a PERSONAL application. Though personal in its application, universal in its influence upon the many.
44. The interests in those characters of cloth, incense, drapery, rugs, hangings or things of the nature - that are innate and find occasional manifestations - arise from the experiences of the entity during that sojourn.
45. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Atlantean.
46. There the entity was a priestess; and the entity's experience there overshadows ALL of those experiences in the earth that even have an influence.
47. For the entity was of the peoples of the Law of One, and with the breaking up of the land itself and the beginning of the exodus of those peoples, the entity was among those that journeyed to what is now called the Yucatan land - or the Ithmus land.
48. And with the building up of those activities, the establishing of the temple service, the applications of the temple's activity to the commercialization - or those activities in which many of what ye call in the present new discoveries, these were but a portion of the entity's associate's activities during that experience.
49. And when there became the heresaying, yea in those

periods when there became an activity in which those portions of the land were discovered from what was left of Lemuria, or Mu - in what is now lower California, portions of the valleys of death, the entity journeyed there to see, to know.
50. And during those experiences much was set up that may be of interest to the entity, that will be a part of the discoveries of natures or natural formations in what is now the Canyon Island.
51. For THIS was the entity's place of the temple.
52. Is there any wonder that new expeditions to ANY land become fraught with interest to the entity?
53. For the entity then was a priestess that made for the correlating of tenets of all portions of the earth, for the unifying of the activities of spiritual understanding, and the application of spiritual laws - not as for material but for the harmonious and the peace of the peoples. And such longings were then, are now, the desire of the inmost self.
54. The entity was named the Princess Shu-Tu.
55. Also in those periods, the entity journed to what was later known as the meeting of the seven nations for the protection from the common foe of man during the experience.
56. The entity then finds an interest in the activities of all characters of RITUAL; not as to what it DOES but the WHY of same in the experience - and the emotions created by same.
57. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
58. As has been indicated, the greater service to others, and the greater peace and harmony to self, may be gained through the seeking to correlate the tenets of many teachers of many lands, of many climes; and simplifying them for their use or application into the experiences of those whom the entity may meet or contact day by day.
59. Hold fast to those purposes, then. For what ye sow, ye reap - as ye have experienced. Not only in the material affairs but in the mental and spiritual relationships also.
60. Ready for questions.
61. (Q) What should I do to advance my spiritual growth? (A) As just indicated, an analysis and a correlating of similarities - not differences - in the teachings of the many that are called sects, sets, or teachings in the varied portions of the UNIVERSE today. For a practical application: WHY the Laplander or the Icelander or the people of Greenland or the Eskimos hold to certain legends, and as to WHY these find some parallel and

comparison to those legends held by those in New Zealand, and off the coast of the South Seas. WHY the teachings of a portion of the peoples in the Persian land, the first of those great teachers historically recorded, compare or parallel with the Indians in the southwest portion of America. Or WHY the teachings of Confucius or his axioms and lessons, and those of Jesus, are parallel. Not their differences, but their overlapping. And what these teach in the many varied sects, the many varied cisms - not their differences but their unity. These will not only enable the entity to give to others but in the giving, in the seeking, in the understanding, broaden - yea, magnify - the vision and the ability in spiritual things.
62. (Q) Does my attitude toward my mother retard my spiritual growth? (A) Let it rather become (it retards) - Let it rather become as if NOT. Not that - But as the Master gave, as Jesus gave on such: "Who is my father, my mother, my brother, my sister? They that do the will of the Father, the same is my mother, my brother, my sister."
63. (Q) Where and how have I been associated with her in the past, which has caused such an attitude in the present? (A) MORE than once. In the household as indicated in Persia, yea the mother then; and it became necessary for a complete separation and segregation. Again in those Atlantean lands. The mother, then the friend, would not leave the land. And in these comparisons ye may see parallels. As to what ye do about that as illustrated - WHO is thy mother, WHO is thy brother, WHO is thy sister!
64. (Q) How may I improve my memory and power of concentration? (A) By more and more turning within. This would apply to material as well as mental and spiritual aids: Use a Radio-Active Appliance for ATTUNING the body. And during the use of same, whether used daily or at set periods (as may be given in circling the body), use that period as a period of DEEP meditation; gradually raising, through the

system, opening the centers of the body for better understanding. Then the activity of the bodily forces as attuned to concentration will make for not only a better feeling, physically, but an adaptability of the spiritual DEVELOPMENTS of the body TO the material surroundings. Resentments and slurs will be more easily negative forces or forgotten forces, and the more positive aspect of Creative Energies flowing through the system become apparent.
65. (Q) Is it advisable to continue my astrology, or Kaballa of Numbers, lessons? (A) Kaballa of Numbers lessons, as we have indicated, become more and more of an accepted force within self. As it was so great a portion of self as the Priestess who did so much for the earth, for the world during that experience, so may the entity find it becoming more and more a helpful influence in the present. Know, though, O Daughter, that these ARE BUT SIGNS! and the application is in the heart and soul and MIND of the individual! Hold to that - and they will never confuse.
66. (Q) What was my physical birth hour? (A) Early morning - three-twenty.
67. (Q) What causes my inferiority complex? (A) It is NOT an inferiority complex; rather the lack of giving or allowing full expression of that INNATELY known to the entity from its deep experiences in matter and the activities of the many. Because of the FEAR of convention and what others will say. Hence one of the greater forces as may be had, allowing self to be loosed by the influences of the vibrations of the body - in the Appliance - and the abilities to unify the concentrated efforts, ye may indeed learn the lesson as that Teacher of Teachers gave; that abiding in the truth, it SHALL make you free, and will bring to thy remembrance ALL that is helpful since the foundations of that ye know as the earth!
68. (Q) How may I overcome this, and also my outstanding faults? (A) Just as indicated. During such periods of using the Appliance, open thyself to those tenets. Look upon them not as of a man, not as of an entity even, but rather as a universal consciousness to thee in those things given in the 30th chapter of Deuteronomy, in

the 150th Psalm, in the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of that book called John. And then the Revelation; knowing THIS - the Revelation - is a description of, a possibility of, thy own consciousness; and not as a historical fact, not as a fancy, but as that thy own soul has sought throughout its experiences, through the phases of thy abilities, the faculties of thy mind and body, the emotions of all of thy complex - as it may appear - system. And ye will find PEACE, and an awakening - beautiful!
69. (Q) Do you advise a return to business in 1938 [real estate?]? (A) If return, let it be after the middle of the year. Many changes are in the way and in the making of the entity's environs and surroundings, and these used - not abused, nor looked upon as hindrances - may become stepping-stones for the great SERVICE. And "He that is the greatest among you is the servant of all."
