Born November 20, 1876, in Milltown, New Brunswick, Canada. Time of Reading 12:10 to 1:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Life Reading suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present - " - 1900 - quite a change - '79 - Not well! - '78, '77 - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes, we have the records of that entity now known as or called [1474].
3. In giving the interpretations of those records that as we find are a part of the entity's experiences through sojourns in the earth, as well as the environs about the earth, we find the astrological aspects coincident - or coinciding with what has been the experience of the entity through the sojourns in the earth.
4. Thus we find the entity in the present experience, and at this particular period of the development, coming under the influence of many sojourns in the earth.
5. Hence we find the influences in the present from not only the astrological relationships but from the earthly sojourns. But remember, all of these influences or urges are as signs, or omens; or they produce tendencies and inclinations.
6. The astrological influences are upon the innate urge, or those that may be referred to as psychic experiences.
7. But the material sojourns in the earth influence rather the emotions of the body.
8. The entity then has experienced in the present sojourns great periods of changes, or periods of great emotional fervor - long periods and short periods; as the inclinations to do this or that, the inclinations to shield self from this or that material experience because of the innate urges that arise from its activities in these relationships.
9. Yet the entity has always remained rather in the background; not from lack of desire or knowledge, or desire to know - for the abilities innately far surpass the many,
1474-1 Page 2
but the entity is inclined to be quiet, close at times, never expressing WHOLLY that it feels innately within self for fear of being misunderstood.
10. Not that the entity creates what may be termed an aversion completely, but rather - even though as may be seen through the very experiences in material sojourns these have brought oft the lonely feelings, yet - seeking ever for that material, mental or spiritual companionship that will give the assurity of that which has been and is being sought.
11. And only at times the glimpses have been caught of same.
12. The astrological aspects and influences from material sojourns, to be sure, do not surpass the will of the entity.
13. Hence the entity may find this assurance more and more in its ideal: Knowing that as the promptings of the soul, the mind, are to those things that are more and more spiritual in their aspect, greater and greater may be the assurance in the mental forces and abilities of the entity for the carrying on in those directions that will bring - not that as of material security but - mental and spiritual assurance that:
14. He lives, and all is well, and that His promises are SURE! For His example before the children of men is not beyond the grasp of the mental and physical activities of the individual, but in thy dwelling in same there comes more and more that peace as He promised that passeth understanding; and brings that assurance that we may walk with Him. Not only in the realms of the unseen but in those ministerings to the children of men.
15. For that as He gave becomes more and more apparent, as one dwells upon the beauty of the experience of the children of men - yea of the Savior - that, "As ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker."
16. The astrological aspects we find then in Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn - as rather the ruling influence; while those forces as from Mars, Uranus, become rather as stumbling influences.
17. While the entity has found and may experience in the present that force of wrath and anger, turmoil and strife, bringing into the experience of self or others the destructive influences - even upon those in whom the entity may have had faith, confidence and hope - yet these things, as the entity has experienced, may oft be held in abeyance to such measures that they EAT as it were to the very cankering of the soul forces!
18. Hence the more joy, the more open activity in the experience will bring greater and greater vision of beauty and harmony into the experience.
1474-1 Page 3
19. Mercury makes for the mental abilities, the abilities for direction.
20. And yet the influences in Venus, as well as in Jupiter, make for the inclination to become within rather as the recluse, as one seeking shelter.
21. Though the abilities for direction as a leader are paramount; and the ability - as from the advice or counsel of the entity - is to give strength to others.
22. Yet the entity seeks for others to push forward into those places of position or of material power.
23. Love lies dormant in the experience.
24. Friendships are valued by the entity, and yet it never seeks to give full expression for fear of being misinterpreted as to the meanings of same.
25. The interests in things of the mystic or mental or psychic nature arise, which oft to the entity appear to bring - while very good to others - very questionable experiences.
26. Hence the entity has held itself aloof from those experiences and things; that something within - as may be seen from its sojourns - that cries out for expression.
27. As we have indicated, the appearances in the earth have been many (compared to many) that influence the entity in the present, and they are quite varied - as we find - in their appearance of influence in the experience of a soul entity at this particular period.
28. Before this we find the entity was in the land nigh unto the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were many questionings as to whom those portions of New York, Vermont - yea, the portions of the lands of the entity's present nativity - belonged, or would become a part of.
29. The entity was among the children of the first settlers in the land, in the name Esther Gizzard, though called "Prissie" [?] throughout the experience.
30. Hardships materially; yet the very physical and mental abilities of the entity to meet with the relations and activities through the experience made for STRENGTH, and a gain in the abilities.
31. Yet the entity finds in same in the present that though there are those deep feelings for friends, for acquaintances, there are those influences that hold back from giving the full expression of same.
32. But there be no field of activity in which the entity may not counsel and may not have those innate experiences that arise under such conditions; whether in the dealing with things or with the abilities of peoples to cooperate
1474-1 Page 4
and correlate their service for any particular activity.
33. For there are not only the astrological influences of the high mental abilities and the innate forces through the abilities to see into the future as well as much of the past, but also from those experiences in matter there are the abilities to make practical application of those virtues in the material sojourns in which soul growth may be a part of the experience.
34. Hence as we find, as from that sojourn, there is the desire to know OF the frontier projects of every nature, seeking or longing to be a part of same; yet refraining the more from engaging or finding SELF active in such.
35. Before that we find the entity was in that now known as the German land or the Fatherland, during the early periods of what were called the Crusades.
36. The entity was among those peoples left when the men folks as well as in certain estates became active in gathering together for the defense of a purpose, for an idea - that to the entity, during the period, made for a questioning: Could there be in the outer activities such showing of the zealousness of the individual and yet leave the home and the surroundings of same to chance?
37. This has remained with the entity in the present, such that oft - very oft, not too oft but very oft - the entity is considered or spoken to as becoming too practical, and not visionary enough.
38. Hence these very forces oft make for periods of confusion in the experience in the present.
39. The entity then, in the name Luela Heifenstefeler, may be said to have gained and lost, and gained.
40. For when left so in seclusion, so alone during portions of those experiences and activities, the entity began to pity self. And indeed does the soul in the material sojourns find more oft - yea, always - that at such periods there arises anything but those activities that are fruits of the spirit.
41. In the present, as indicated, the GENERAL experience is that others look upon the entity oft as being TOO practical. This is not giving that the entity is wrong OR right; it is that as must be the questioning and within self!
42. Before that, then, we find the entity was in the land now known as the Grecian, during those periods when there was an exodus of many to the land in the 'city in the hills' for what appeared to be the overrunning of the land, or for the seeking in subtle manners to subjugate the land; or to engage in what was termed in the experience as a peaceful warfare through propaganda of a nature.
1474-1 Page 5
43. The entity was among those that were sought to become a part of those activities yet refrained from allowing self to be pulled into or to join in such.
44. And these made for those experiences in which the entity finds self oft in the present desirous of becoming a part of activities, yet withholding self oft from same. As it meditates or dwells upon an activity in its inner self, that looks to be or appears to be good, or there is the feeling that it is good - yet there is the withholding of self. This is from a confusion that is indicated in the present from just that experience as given.
45. Yet the entity in that experience was what would be called in the present a sculpturist of note, for the abilities of the entity during those periods were in making things with clay, with stone, and the activities of self were lost in those very things; monumental activities in many directions and yet very delicate in their executions.
46. Before that we find the entity's experience was in what is now known as the Indo-China land, in those periods when that Princess rose to the greater heights - yea, sunk to the lower depths.
47. The entity then was very closely associated with that Princess; in the first the capacity was as a maid, and then - owing to the abilities - it was raised to rather the closer companionship; in the deeds that brought the cries of praise and "Hosanna" and glory, as well as in the exalting of self, debasing of the principles of brotherly love in such measures that even hisses (as would be termed today) followed oft.
48. Then the entity gained, yea lost much, gained again much through the experience. For what would be termed in the present as pleasures, pastimes, indulgences for the glorifying - also the deep brotherly love, yea the magnifying of all the forces of eternal love - were a part of the entity's experience, as Mi-su-lu.
49. As to the abilities of the entity from same, we find the love of ease; yet the feelings that those who labor not, or give not of self in some manner, have lost and do lose the joy of companionship and service that is not found other than in the very activity of same.
50. Hence we will find abilities for directing, as from those sojourns there; whether in parliamentary activities or in finding or in seeking out relationships for definite or special purposes in social, religious or educational affairs.
51. For all of these were a portion of the entity; and so they become opportunities in the experience in the present.
1474-1 Page 6
52. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Atlantean, during those periods before there were the definite separations of the children of the Law of One and the children of Belial.
53. The entity was among those of the household of the priest, yea the entity then was a princess of royal blood - as would be called today, as was called then.
54. For the entity rose to that power or position in which there was the supervision of that stone upon which the light of heaven shone for the blessings of man, that brought the divinations to the peoples as to their relationships to the godly forces as might find expression.
55. For the entity gained throughout the experience.
56. Again we find THINGS and conditions, for the welfare of the activity of humanity, are a part of the entity's experiences; as well as relations of same in which the mental and spiritual forces of others are to be considered.
57. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
58. First, know thy ideal - in what and in Whom ye have believed; and assuring self by the answer within - as is given, "Thy spirit beareth witness with my Spirit" that such IS true, and that the ideal is able to keep ALL ye may commit unto it, against any experience that may arise in the mental, the material or the spiritual spheres of activity.
59. Then press on in those things, knowing - as His promises are sure, as ye apply self - ye become more and more aware of His presence abiding with thee always.
60. Ready for questions.
61. (Q) Was there a definite, intimate relationship between [1298] and me in some previous existence? (A) A comparison of that which has been given each will indicate WHAT an intimate relation there was!
62. (Q) In what way am I expected to be of help to her now? (A) Assisting, as then, in keeping an equal balance in the dealings with the physical, the metaphysical, the spiritual.
63. (Q) Where can I find a legal record of my grandfather's birth, John [...], born Dec. 31, 1799, in Plymouth, New Hampshire? (A) This we do not find as related here.
64. (Q) What book is there in which I can find a record of my descent since 1630? (A) Only those records as may be had from the older records in Albany of the genealogy of those peoples in that portion of the land.
65. (Q) Why does Mr. [...] [my late husband] not "want to be dead", and how can I get thru to him when he comes back to ... Place, Brooklyn?
1474-1 Page 7
(A) Only in the deeper meditation may there be given to that entity, that soul, the assurance of the CONTINUITY of life and of the growth necessary for each; in the assurance of that given: Know not only what ye believe but in WHOM ye believe! For life IS continuous! There is no halting. We either progress or retrogress.
66. (Q) While he was ill at ... what became of his accident insurance policy made out in my name? (A) Such things as these are hard to seek out from this phase. As we find, removed by a young man.
67. We are through. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file [Remark immediately following the reading: Has always been tremendously interested in sculpture; hasn't been able to pull herself away from looking at sculpture in Washington museum - always there has been that urge. Feels so close to [1298]; almost as if they were lovers, if one were a man.]
