1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1475].
2. As we find, there is rather a serious complication of disturbances with this body.
3. However, if there are the proper precautions and the proper applications made - IF there is the ability to save the mental reactions - the physical may be brought to near to normal, as we find.
4. Hence, the combination of disturbances is both pathological and psychopathic - in their reactions, with this body.
5. These then are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1475]:
6. First, in the blood supply we find a deficiency; caused or produced by great strains that have been produced in the body through the attempts of the body in supplying, as it were, the necessary forces for the rebuilding of other bodies.
7. This strain has produced in the sources of the red blood supply a deficiency in the hormones of the blood force, in the hemoglobin, in that which makes for the proper coordination in replenishing through the glandular forces of the system.
8. Thus we find not only the combination from the drawing on the structural portions of the body through which the addition of the plasm for blood building is drawn, but in
1475-1 Page 2
those activities in the glandular system to reproduce from the assimilating system the necessary forces for this blood reaction.
9. Hence the strain that is produced upon the nerve system of the body; an incoordination between the deeper circulation or the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic or vegetative, or the superficial circulation.
10. Hence those periods when the body becomes so overtaxed by the emotions, and those activities as produced at the periods - or before - upon the functioning of the organs of the body.
11. Hence as we have indicated, the first consideration is to save the SANITY of the body, or keep that coordination between the assimilating system and that in which the cerebrospinal AND the sympathetic may KEEP coordination.
12. That there are, then, distinct disturbances in specific centers of the body becomes evident - from those causes that have been indicated; as in the lumbar, the 9th dorsal, the upper cervicals.
13. These in making for the activities upon the nervous systems, we find that there is incoordination produced between the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic in the areas indicated.
14. To the functioning of the body, to the up-building of even the structural as well as the organic reactions - all of these suffer under varied cycles of activity.
15. The inability of proper assimilation becomes a decided factor in the general condition.
16. Those ministrations that have at times been necessary for the production of sedative reactions WILL not, DO not, heal; they do not even supply necessary influences or forces.
17. As we find, that as may bring the help, the aid for the body, would BEST be had through mechano-therapy, or low electrical vibrations, AND osteopathy, administered in the manners as we give here:
18. We would use the low electrical vibrations as from the Wet Cell Appliance carrying into the system, alternately, the vibrations of Chloride of Gold and Atomidine (atomic iodine). The Gold would be as an activative vibratory force into the system for the stimulation to the glandular force as related to the circulation. The Atomidine vibrations would be carried in the system in the same manner to react upon the glandular system and purify same so that the assimilated forces may build strength to the whole anatomical condition of the body. The attachments would be made as follows; one day carrying the Gold, the next day the
1475-1 Page 3
Atomidine:
19. The first day we would attach the plain anode first, to the 4th lumbar; while the larger anode - through which the Gold Solution passes (in the proportions of three grains of the Chloride of Gold to an ounce of Distilled Water) - would be attached last, to the umbilicus plexus. Such attachments would be made every other day, for thirty minutes.
20. The next day, or the day in between the above described attachments, we would attach the plain anode first, to the vagus center plexus - or the 1st and 2nd dorsal center; while the larger anode through which the Atomidine Solution passes (commercial strength) would be attached last, at the lacteal duct or gall duct center. Such attachments would be made every other day, for thirty minutes.
21. Morning and evening give GENTLE massage, osteopathically, to relax the body; coordinating the centers especially in the upper cervical, the brachial or upper dorsal, 9th dorsal, and 4th lumbar.
22. To assist the body in maintaining, or to assist in digestive forces, we would use a combination of these properties: Cinnamon Water........................1 ounce, Lime Water............................1 ounce, 10% Solution Iodide of Potassium.....10 minims, 10% Solution Bromide of Potassium....30 minims. The dose would be a teaspoonful in a tablespoonful of water. This may be given two to three times each day; and will make for quieting, as well as assist in assimilations.
23. Do these as we find, as making for the better opportunity of maintaining an equilibrium; keeping the body quiet, to be sure - but in as pleasant as surroundings as possible.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) Is there any special doctor recommended to cooperate? (A) A good Osteopathic Surgeon, or one in sympathy with the forces or influences as we have indicated here as necessary for this particular body? There needs be first, as given, the consideration as to the mental reactions. For unless we keep or maintain coordinant or correlative forces between the MENTAL balance and physical balance, what use is a physical reaction?
26. (Q) What specifically has caused this condition? (A) As we find, the great strain upon the body in childbearing WITHOUT the proper consideration of even keeping an equal balance in the salts and elements of the
1475-1 Page 4
body; thus depleting the circulation, taking from the system the influences necessary for proper glandular rebuilding; thus drawing upon the system to an extent as to cause deterioration rather than the ability to rejuvenate itself. Hence the necessary applications in those factors given. These react in this manner upon the system: The vibrations of the properties carried through the low electrical forces - rather than taking the properties internally - will aid in producing that vibration necessary, not only for the coordination of the glandular system but for the ability in the nerve itself to be rejuvenated. For the properties of the Gold (that are lacking in the system) are in portions of the nerve cords, or even the cerebrospinal cord itself. Hence such properties carried vibratorially into the system will not produce deterioration in other portions of the body. The same is true of the atomic iodine. As there is the activity of this (the Atomidine) through the vibratory forces of the low electrical appliance that are in themselves the basic vibration from which there is atomic activity through the body (or from which there is the exercising of the same force), this works directly upon the glandular system; the thyroid, the adrenals and the thymus, ALL the glands of the body; thus enabling them to react as assimilating forces. For that is the process or the activity of the glands, to secrete that which enables the body, physically, throughout, to REPRODUCE itself!
27. (Q) How long should this treatment be continued in this manner before a change is made? (A) For twenty-eight days, and we would find changes verifying much that has been given. If there is the reaction that is indicated, by keeping the mental forces NOT pessimistic (as it is) but optimistic - as of opportunities for greater service in the material world.
28. (Q) What diet would be suggested during this time? (A) Those foods that are strengthening, body-building, yet EASY of assimilation; as beef juices, junket, cereals of whole wheat WELL - WELL COOKED, but that carry the gluten in same. And after the treatments have been begun for a little, so that the distribution of that supplied to the system is carried through the body, we would then use Ventriculin as
1475-1 Page 5
an inner body-builder. This would be taken a heaping teaspoonful each day. Do not begin with this until SEVERAL of the osteopathic manipulations have been given and there has been the ability to settle the stomach sufficiently for assimilation to take place.
29. (Q) Would a change of environment be suggested? If so, where would you suggest? (A) Osteopathic institution in Philadelphia; or the one in Macon, Missouri.
30. (Q) Will the present treatment she is having bring complete or partial relief from pain? (A) This would be problematical. There is help in some directions being gained. If it is sufficient to keep this mental balance. We do not see it so. It would relieve only in part the physical, while - unless there is better coordination produced - it would leave periods of lapses in the mental reaction.
31. (Q) If the change is made to the Osteopathic hospital, would it be possible for the Wet Cell Appliance to be given there? (A) If insisted upon, they will.
32. (Q) Could these treatments be given in England? (A) They may be given in England.
33. (Q) Would you advise moving the body to England in the present? (A) If that is the greater desire of the BODY, yes!
34. (Q) Whereabouts in England? (A) It would be necessary to make associations or connections with one of the Osteopathic School there, which may be done. Do these, and as we find it offers the greater opportunity for a normal equilibrium being gained by this body, [1475].
