Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1476].
2. Now as we find, the disturbing conditions in the physical forces of this body are rather hidden; and are rather a growth - or an outcome of what appeared to be minor conditions, or of little disturbances in their beginning or inception.
3. These as we find had to do rather with the effect that arises from an incoordination between the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system and the cerebrospinal system.
4. These began some years ago, when the body was under stress and strain in a nervous manner, and not with the proper diets; but with rather a starvation as it were to the nervous system overtaxed same with influences to stimulate the body to activity - of natures that were insidious in their beginnings or activities.
5. Hence we find they have produced at the present these disturbances with this body of [1476]:
6. The blood lacks the ability for the perfect coagulation.
7. Hence the inclination for the inability of carrying the active forces without carrying the inflammatory forces with same. Hence the inclination for the rapid pulse, and the high nervous tensions with the inclinations of the muscular forces to contract; producing in the extremities of the body tautnesses when there is the least overexertion to the body.
8. It is not, then, a true heart condition, but of a nerve and blood force, or disturbance in the nerve and blood supply in such manners as to give those activities through the heart - as from lungs to heart, to liver; as from circulation to liver, to heart, to lungs - of the skipping at times, overpressure at times, headaches that disturb the body almost as migraine in their nature.
9. These are the reactions to the nervous system, as we find, and to the blood supply. These make for conditions that produce weaknesses in the abilities of the entity to
1476-2 Page 2
act in a great exertion of a physical capacity. Thus the mental reaction produces that of moroseness, and the inclination to be very pessimistic about the surroundings, the activities.
10. On the whole then, as we find, general debilitations are produced with this body.
11. As we find, these may be builded back to a near normal manner, if there is the consistent and persistent effort on the part of the body, but necessitating the applications - in a consistent and persistent manner - that may in the beginning appear to be aggravating rather than allaying.
12. But if there is the persistency, we will find we may be able to remove those inclinations for the lack of coordination in the nerve reflexes and the nerve impulses, and through same stimulate the circulation to a more normal activity.
13. And thus through the foods or the diets apply those necessary elements for the creating of a balance in the chemical reactions of the system as between the sodas, the potashes - or the alkalinity and the acidity - and the reactions for the body of the ability for replenishing itself.
14. First then, as we find:
15. There should be taken at least once a week, for a period of five to six weeks, the very HIGH vibrations of electrical forces given as a massage along the cerebrospinal system; and especially around the head, the neck, and then down the whole length of the spine, to create impulses - through the very activity of the electrical forces upon the centers of the body - for coordination between the vegetative or sympathetic system AND the deeper or cerebrospinal system.
16. About once a week, but not at the same time, there should be given the thorough hydrotherapy treatments; alleviating this inclination for the prolapsus in the caecum area of the colon. This, of course, to be sure, would be through the colonics with the PARTICULAR direction of making for adjustments through the right AND left side in the abdomen, not only with the intestine or colon dilated somewhat - but we would have those periods when also with same there would be (but at times when the colon is NOT dilated) a massage across the abdomen and especially across the colon area with an equal combination of Peanut Oil and Olive Oil. Do this occasionally; not every time but sometimes every second treatment and sometimes every third treatment we would have the Cabinet or FUME Bath. Not too hot, so as to heat the body and cause the greater disturbance to the heart's activity, but this watched very
1476-2 Page 3
closely during such treatments. We would follow these with the salt AND with the rum rub.
17. In the matter of the diet: Beware of ANY character of food that even creates a great quantity of alcohol, or of ANY alcohol, or of drinks that carry alcohol. Those drinks with a little charged water would be very well - as Coca Cola or Orangeade or the like, if taken once or twice a day; for their reaction upon the system as related to especially the hepatic or the kidney AND liver circulation would be good.
18. Beware of starches or combinations of starches that produce the excesses.
19. Let this be rather as an outline, though not JUST these foods taken - but foods of these natures:
20. Mornings - citrus fruit juices, or whole wheat cereals - as Maltex or Crushed Wheat, that are well, WELL cooked (but do not combine cereals AND citrus fruits at the same meal!). These may be altered at times also with stewed fruits; as figs, the pie plant, or tomato juice - that may be taken in preference to the citrus fruit juices. But all of these should be taken at one time or another. Coffee may be taken if it is desired, with brown toast at the meal - but WITHOUT cream or milk in same!
21. Noons - preferably have as a portion of same only raw vegetables combined together. Vegetable juices may be taken at this time. The shell fish may be taken at this time, in their various forms.
22. Evenings - only the vegetables and meats that are well cooked and well balanced. No fried foods at any time. The meats should consist principally of fish, fowl or lamb. Have three vegetables above the ground to one below the ground.
23. Do these consistently for six to eight weeks, and then we would give further instructions.
24. Ready for questions.
25. (Q) What special electrical treatment is referred to? (A) That - All of these we would give as at The Reilly Service; and that special electrical treatment is given by the electricity passing to the body through the manipulations of a very high nature.
26. (Q) What causes constant congestion? (A) As indicated, this inability of the coagulation of the blood forces to supply necessary influences for carrying same away. Thus it gradually and consistently produces a low form of FEVER - or temperature; thus affecting the circulation, as said, through the lungs, the heart, the liver; the liver, the heart, the lungs. This, though, is a
1476-2 Page 4
nervous and not a true heart disturbance. Hence the necessity of consistency and persistency in those things indicated for the body-betterment.
27. (Q) What causes pains in joints? (A) As indicated, the lack of the lymph flow and the lack of the eliminations to keep away the poisons produced by the excess of temperature through the circulatory forces of the body.
28. (Q) What about present treatment? (A) As we would give, these treatments that have been outlined would be much preferable. Take ALL of these, leave off others, or DO NOT take these at all!
