Born February 26, 1883, in Lake Como, Florida. Time of Reading 11:35 to 12:30 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Life Reading Suggestion)

1. EC: (In going back over years from present - "1931 - such a diffusion of interests! - '30, '29 - '18 - such anxieties! - '17 - '98 - yes, a change again in surroundings - '88 - '83 - How happy they were to have the entity!")

2. We have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1479].

3. In giving the interpretation of the records as we find here, much of the purposes of the entrance of an entity into a material experience should be taken into consideration.

4. The interpretations are given in order that there may be that helpful influence which may make for an experience to the entity of the assurance that is ever present; that there is the strength necessary for the meeting of the trials, the disappointments that have come - that may yet be, temporarily, a portion of the experience.

5. And only does the mental self, Mind the Builder, have to take hold on same to make it a part of its own experience.

6. For the Lord loveth those whom He at times appears to chasten, but they that remain in the faith see, know, experience the glories that have been prepared for those who love His coming.

7. And for that assurance these interpretations are given here. For these are at times needed, even as He in materiality oft found it necessary to go alone, oft found Himself overflowing with sorrow, oft found joy in giving; giving succor and aid and help and hope to those that had wandered far afield.

8. So may this entity in its meting out to others, in its abilities to depict in story the activities of those teachings, find that assurance ever of His presence.

9. For it is ever, in the evolution of man in materiality, here a little, there a little, line upon line, precept upon

1479-1 Page 2

precept. For He is mindful and hath not willed that any soul should perish, but has with every affliction, with every disturbance, with every disappointment prepared a way, a means for a helpful experience, if the entity, the soul, will but look up, LIFT up the eyes to the hill - yea to the tabernacle within self - for that healing that comes to every heart, every soul.

10. The astrological aspects are given that there may be seen in the experience of self how it was meant, and what was meant when that declaration was made, O so long ago, by those who caught a glimpse of the needs of the Divine associating with the mental and physical forces, "The Lord Thy God Is ONE!"

11. For as an entity, a soul - that was given its personality, its individuality - seeks to know the Face, to hear the Voice, to feel the comfort of the assurances of His Presence - as the entity journeys through the spheres of activity between the sojourns in material activity in the earth's plane, they - too - leave their imprint or impression upon the entity as a whole.

12. Thus they become, or are, a part of the entity's experience through those activities as in preparation for the at-onement with that Source from which it - the entity - came.

13. These appear as the innate, the intuitive influences - and are reached by the deep meditation, the counseling with the inner self in seeking to know the Lord's purpose with thee.

14. As we find from these angles, these are urges - but the will is the factor that, in choice, is the birthright; and that is only sold for appetites that gratify for the moment the self-desires or self-indulgences.

15. And these given as being a portion, may aid in that counsel that thy own house be not broken up by those inclinations or tendencies that may arise from the lack, or from the overindulgence in this or that experience.

16. We find the water sign, Pisces, as a portion of the experience.

17. We find the Mercurian influence, Jupiter, Venus, Mars, all a part of the experience.

18. Hence we find the high mental abilities; one that reasons oft, yet so oft is governed by those intuitive forces of love and sympathy.

19. The material activities from the Jupiterian influence have to do much with the thoughts of individuals, and as to how these may react upon the many.

20. As we find in adverse influence, wrath or madness

1479-1 Page 3

bringing periods of depression, periods of those turmoils that arise from same being in the experience of any - or each - soul.

21. These having been a part of the entity's experience are then things or conditions to be wary of, that they do not undermine - or that they do not become the things that so easily beset.

22. For as wrath breeds contention, as contention breeds hate - these in the inner self make for those things that separate one from the knowledge, the awareness of Creative Forces.

23. For indeed be persuaded and know that there is no power in heaven or hell that may separate thee from the love of God but thyself.

24. For He loves those that love His ways.

25. As to the appearances in the earth, those are given that influence the entity in the present; those that, through the emotional self as combined with the innate and the deeper spiritual or mental self, make up the whole.

26. For remember, ye are in a three-dimensional consciousness. Hence as body, mind and soul make up thy tabernacle in the material world, thy experiences in the environs about the earth and thy experiences in the earth - and in the present now - make up that which is the emotional and the innate portion of its evolutionary self through the activities in reaching and in searching for the Creative Forces.

27. As to the appearances then, we find:

28. Before this the entity was in the land of its present nativity, during those periods when there were the first of the settlings in this land.

29. The entity was among those who were brought into the land for companions to those pioneers, those who had wandered or gone in search of greater opportunities.

30. Hence the entity took upon itself the desire to be as one seeking adventure, seeking opportunity, seeking freedom; yet willing to give of the strength of body, the strength of purpose, for the developments of that new undertaking.

31. Then from the English-Dutch portions of the land, the entity - in the name Benda Coloner - came into what is now known as the Virginian land; and was known then because of its union with and its activities among those peoples who became as the heads of the land - and the first of that family known as Fairfax.

32. Coloner Fairfax, the son, expressed much of that the entity put into its early experiences, as to the freedom for those that would serve or worship according to the dictates

1479-1 Page 4

of their own conscience; in and about then those portions nigh unto what has become a part of the northern portion - or near to Maryland, nearer to Washington - as it is called in the present.

33. Hence that particular portion of the land has held in the innate forces of the entity rather a sacredness; as rather a sacred land, that has often been and is oft abused by those in authority.

34. For as indicated in the experience of the entity, there was the search for freedom that makes one free; yet the experiences in Venus have made and make in the present those influences in which sympathy - yea, that which may be called greater than that - LOVE - is felt, a sacredness is felt in the experiences of places, of lands. And yet it is such that is far from idol worship.

35. Such feelings become a portion of the entity's experience; and in its abilities to depict such, in writing, in conversation, in making associations and communications, these arise - or they rise above the seeking to become in a way or manner beholden in any; and there is rather that sacredness of opportunity, the sacredness of purpose, the sacredness of heart to love, to show, to manifest that expressed by Him - who in the experience - of the entity became so near, so dear, oh such a part of self "As ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker."

36. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the French, then known as the French land, during those periods when there were the turmoils in the periods when Charles was in exile there.

37. The entity was close to those who assisted in not only making for the conveniences for but the respect to that deposed monarch, or exiled monarch; yet the entity was among those who attempted to counsel with those close to that entity to become rather those that might mete to their own peoples not merely conveniences but those things that would become hopeful experiences in their lives and activities in the earth - giving consideration to all, in whatever state of activity.

38. And though the entity was disappointed oft, the entity gained through the sojourn, in the name Camelicia.

39. In the experiences in the present from that sojourn we find that doubts arise in the mind oft as to the purposes of those in authority, in their dealings with not only those of its own sex but of the opposite sex. These conditions, as to the activities in the abilities of the entity to depict relationships to individuals of the opposite sex, arise from those innate forces and influences experienced during that

1479-1 Page 5

sojourn.

40. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Promised Land, during those periods when preparations were being made for those entrances, those activities in which there came that Holy One, the man called Jesus.

41. The entity was then among those that were first chosen, among the twelve maidens that ascended and descended the stairs upon which Mary was chosen.

42. To be sure, the entity was of the Essenes - of the household of one Joseph; not of that Joseph that was chosen later, of course, but a kinsman - in the correct [direct?] line from David.

43. Hence the entity throughout its experience came close in contact with those that kept the records, yea with those activities when the persecutions arose.

44. And when the entity's own son was among those that were destroyed by Herod, the great cry of the heart that went up in rebellious forces to a consciousness that would allow such, made for an experience that has oft been met in this experience in many ways in disappointments.

45. That lesson of humbleness, that lesson of self-sacrifice seems to have been drained to its very dregs oft in the present. But know the LIGHT as ye gained from those teachings and those persecutions and those sacrifices made among those Holy Women, and thy association with those in search for same.

46. For ye were among those that FIRST - in thy latter years - recognized the freedom brought to thy sex by the very MANNER of the entrance of the Son of man, the son of Mary, to the material world!

47. Hence there are those abilities for activities in the present to uphold the PURPOSES for or in the relationships of man and woman; not condoning things that become questions, but rather showing that love that arises in the hearts and activities, in those influences that should be NECESSARY in such unions as to bring into preparation those channels in mind and body through which souls may manifest in the material world. Not just the aggrandizement of a material or earthly or body passion, but that they each must give of their own bodies, their own blood, for such; that may bring to their consciousness the necessity for a training for such - even as thy training in that experience, even as thy fellows in those choices made because of their fitness, thy fitness in body, because of the fitness of thy father and thy mother, their fathers and mothers, during those experiences.

1479-1 Page 6

48. And these cry aloud then in thy experiences in the present, through what may be called eugenics - or the preparations for the entrances of souls that make the earth BETTER in the material ways, yea the spiritual ways.

49. For God is not mocked, and whatsoever ye sow, that must ye also reap.

50. Preach, practice; give of thy strength in making these forces known in the hearts and minds of men EVERYWHERE!

51. Before that we find the entity was in the land now called the Arabian and Persian land, during those experiences when the 'city in the hills and the plains' became a place of refuge for the sick, the afflicted in body.

52. It was during that period when not only were these experiences a part of all that fared there, but the greater associations of Creative Energies or God-Force in the experience were given also.

53. The entity was among the Natives that early joined with those activities under Uhjltd, the healer, the teacher; for a greater service to others.

54. In those experiences the entity rose to one of authority, yet in the way or manner in which it administered to those of many lands the HELPFUL influences and forces.

55. The name then was Edesta, and the entity gained throughout the experience.

56. And in the application of self in the present it may find the greater harmony and peace in that which brings hope and peace - that is not of the earth-earthy but as associated with that of doing good; that others may know the Lord is Good.

57. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land. There we find the entity was among those peoples who came into the land; being an associate - yes, a sister - of the Young King that was put into power for the greater activities.

58. The entity joined in the activities when the Priest was banished; the entity joined MORE in the activities when the Priest's return made for the separations of individual activities.

59. Hence the entity in that experience became a teacher, a judge - yes, as one who counseled with those in choosing what ye would call in the present as a life's work or activity.

60. Then the name was Ar-Ar-Pheth.

61. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:

62. Holding fast to the vision thou hast seen, leaving aside

1479-1 Page 7

more and more those things that would so easily beset, turning thy face to the light - as has been indicated - the shadows will fall behind.

63. KNOW in WHOM thou hast believed, as well as in what thou hast put thy trust. For He is indeed the light among men. Love His ways.

64. Ready for questions.

65. (Q) What is my particular destiny with regard to the service of the world? (A) In thy abilities to depict those phases of relationships as indicated; this in writing, this in talking, this in activities.

66. (Q) How can I know what my part is more clearly? (A) Looking the more often within. For as has been given, behold He standeth at the door and knocks; and they that will open - He will enter in. And as He hath given, "Ask, believing, and I will bring to thy remembrance ALL things from the foundations of the earth! For ye have been with me," saith He, "from the beginning!" And ye were among the choice individuals, ye were among those through whom there might have come even His physical activity! Because thou hast oft seen, oft experienced ALMOST but not quite the whole way, do not become discouraged. For as He hath given, "I WILL uphold thee." Keep that promise close in thine inner self, and ye will KNOW the truth hath indeed set thee free!

67. (Q) Will the activity begun last July serve best to expand my consciousness and usefulness? (A) It should; keeping in the way as has just been indicated. As ye study that given, and it brings an answer from within, then apply same. Remember, as indicated from the first, this interpretation is given that ye may be assured the more often. As ye open your heart and mind ye will know more and more. And let thy meditation oft be: "THY HANDMAID, LORD, AWAITS THY VOICE; THAT I MAY KNOW THE PURPOSES THOU HAST WITH ME! I AM THINE, USE ME. LET ME BE THE CHANNEL OF BLESSING TO SOMEONE, TODAY!" This will keep, this will hold thyself close to that Heart that knoweth the purposes of all - and will comfort thee, yea lift thee up.

68. (Q) What am I meant to learn through the physical

1479-1 Page 8

handicaps of the last five years? (A) This has been pointed out again and again; that of patience, humbleness - not abased, no; but that ye may know the Lord's purpose with thee!
