Time of Reading 11:15 to 11:40 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1481].
2. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions physically that prevent the more normal activity of the body.
3. These as we find have to do with conditions in the body that are pathological and psychological in their nature. We find that these physically have to do with the digestive forces, or - more specific - that condition which exists in the duodenum of the digestive system.
4. Then, these are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1481] we are speaking of:
5. In the blood supply we find that the deficiency in the high nervous reaction prevents those better activities of the body in producing, from that assimilated in the digestion, the proper balance between the production of red blood cellular forces and leukocyte or the white blood forces.
6. While there are not the less amounts, nominally, of the red blood supply, there is through the psychological conditions a deficiency in the white as related to the warriors against the strain produced by lack of coagulation in the hormones in the blood for the coagulation to take place nominally.
7. Hence we find there are great strains upon the body physically, either from a high mental tension or from an overactivity from the physical reactions.
8. Hence the body drives itself often beyond its physical abilities. Then the mental tension produces a reaction that causes regurgitation, from the acidities as are the normal conditions of the lower portion of the digestive forces.
9. Thus the lacteals, or the lactic fluids, become so charged with the acids of the system as to produce in the duodenum an engorgement that prevents the outflow into the jejunum, or through those ducts and channels of the lacteal
1481-1 Page 2
duct glands in the lower portion of the digestive system; where the pancreas, the spleen, the gall duct enter into activity with the digestive system.
10. Hence we have - as in the present - not ulcerations but rather lacerations, or the SMOOTHING of the internal wall of the duodenum as to cause the regurgitation into the pyloric portion of the stomach itself.
11. Hence we find an engorgement in the pylorus end of the stomach, and a portion of the lower duodenum - or in the duodenal area.
12. In the present these conditions are not as severe as they have existed.
13. The effect of these conditions upon the activity of the glandular system is that they become storage points, as related to the assimilating fluids from the spleen, the pancreas and portions of the liver.
14. We have an engorgement then of the spleen itself.
15. Hence we find the pains may extend across the whole of the abdominal area, just beneath and across the area of the separations of the upper and lower portions - or the diaphragm area of the system.
16. The psychological effects: Here we enter rather into the mental reactions that have disturbed and do disturb the body.
17. In these conditions we find, the body becomes rather super-sensitive to the spiritual, the mental AND the physical reactions in the system.
18. The periods when the body mentally has done violence, as it were, to its own CONCEPT of spiritual reactions in the body, have their effect psychologically upon the SYMPATHETIC nerve system of the body.
19. Hence we find that the mental reaction is to attempt to push back or to close the mind to conditions that arise within the system.
20. These then naturally have their effect upon the mental AND physical body through the high nerve tension as produced upon the functioning organs of the body.
21. Hence as we find in taking into consideration that which will be helpful and beneficial, and to remove the disturbances from the body:
22. Not only must there be considered the activities for a physical condition but that which will produce a better coordination through the activities of the mental and the SENSITIVE forces - or senses themselves of the body.
23. These as we find may be reached the better through the application or the use of these:
24. First, refrain from any high activative forces of highly

seasoned foods. None of those foods that produce excesses of alcoholic reactions; as the combinations of too great quantities of starches, or any liquids or foods with high STRONG alcoholic content.
25. However, red wine taken as a food WOULD be beneficial; especially if this is taken with brown bread, sour bread, or such natures - as the BETTER grades of pumpernickel or the like. Two to two and a half ounces taken in the afternoons with such breads WOULD be most helpful.
26. Take mornings and evenings SMALL quantities - half to teaspoonful - of Pure Olive Oil.
27. In the mid-morning and before the afternoon drink (of the red wine), take a teaspoonful of Yellow Saffron Tea. Use the American Saffron and brew it just as tea. These properties act upon the gastric flow of the digestive forces, not only with the salivary glands (in the mouth) but the upper portion or cardiac portion of the stomach itself. This mixing with the gastric flow (that is started by the activity of the Olive Oil - not at the same period, but taken as has been indicated) will reduce the acidity, will prevent or allay the plethora or swelling as produced in the pylorus and through the duodenum; and thus aid the body in better assimilations.
28. Then in the mental attitudes, we find that - as the physical conditions are allayed - the occasional use of the Radio-Active Appliance, as the body would go to rest, or as the body rests during the evening before retiring, would make for an equalization of nerve energies; by the applying of same to the pulsations or vibratory centers in the extremities - opposite extremities. That is, the first anode attached should make a circle about the body - the first time attach to the right wrist, the next time to the left wrist, the next time to the left ankle, the next time to the right ankle; then start with the right wrist again - but always the other anode (the last attached) should be to the opposite extremity, see? Keep the anodes clean. But use this while reading or meditating. Not while there is the use of the high mental faculties in the study of PROBLEMS, but when there are the relaxing periods. It will relax the body, tone the system, and as we find aid the body in coming to a more perfect balance; not building these resistances mentally to its trainings as it were in the spiritual and mental attitudes in relationships to others.
29. Do these consistently, persistently, as we find, and we will bring normal conditions for this body, [1481].
30. Ready for questions.
31. (Q) What should the diet be?
1481-1 Page 4
(A) As indicated, refrain from highly seasoned foods or the combinations of too great a quantity of starches. To make a SET diet for this body would become too much rote. Hence we would merely adhere to these precautions; refraining from white potatoes, white bread, spaghetti or macaroni or the like, any two at the same meal. No fried foods at any time. Observing these, we will find we will make for better conditions.
32. (Q) What may be done for the nervousness? (A) As has been indicated, this arises from a physical as well as a psychological cause. Use those food values of the Olive Oil AND the Saffron, as indicated - with the Appliance - and we will allay these tendencies in the system. Do that.
33. (Q) How should the Saffron Tea be made for this body - what proportions? (A) A heaping teaspoonful to a pint of water, allowed to steep as tea. Strain this off and keep in a cool place, and take as indicated - a teaspoonful evening and morning - or afternoon and morning.
34. (Q) Do you see any ulcerated condition at all? (A) As indicated, it is rather lacerations than ulcerations. And the Oil combined with the activity of the Saffron to mix with the gastric flows of the digestive system, aided by the quieting of the nerves through the use of the Appliance, will relieve these conditions.
35. (Q) What is the difference between an ulcerated condition and lacerated condition? (A) An ulcerated condition would be as a rent that had ulcered; while a lacerated condition is just as we have indicated - that the roughened portions, as in the pylorus and in a portion of the duodenum, become as cracks that bleed or become inflamed, or become spotted; not ulcered. Do these as given, and we will bring the better conditions for the body, [1481].
