Born November 3, 1887, 3:22 P. M., in New York City. [11/3/84, 3:22 P. M., See 1500-4, Par. 3-A, 6-A.] Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Life Reading Suggestion)
1. EC: (In going back over years from present - "1935 - going through a lot of karma! - '29 - an upset - '99 - wasn't such a good accident! - " etc., on back to birth date.)
2. Yes, we have the entity here, now called Mrs. [1500].
3. Quite a record!
4. In choosing the interpretations of the records to be given here, this is done with the hope and desire that the entity may indeed apply that which has been given of old, "Know Thyself."
5. And in the analysis of this, and the seeking to apply that which is good, know that these are chosen from a standard - an ideal.
6. Know then that an ideal, physical, mental and spiritual, must be a part of the experience of each, if there would be a gaining, a developing, a fulfilling of the purposes for which each soul enters a material experience.
7. For there is the constant meeting of self in the varied experiences, and we are the result of all we have been in respect TO that which is the ideal, the way, the truth and the light.
8. It is only in the application of these, that are the fruits of the spirit, that each soul may indeed come to know that purpose for which it enters a given experience.
9. Then indeed in patience and in hope and in faith may one become aware of one's soul - yea, one's relationships with the Creative Forces.
10. Also we come to understand that in materiality the only way of expressing or manifesting same is in the dealings with and the manners or attitudes of self towards others, in relationship to that which is our ideal.
11. The entity, as each entity, comes under the astrological aspects. These are rather sojourns, and hence become rather
1500-3 Page 2
those influences from which the entity may draw. Just as an individual may in a material experience under such and such an environ come to think and act or deal with conditions in that same relationship as those about the entity, for the entity comes to hold the same as the ideal way and manner. Or it takes on, as it were, the habits, the activities in relationships to same and to conditions in the way and manner in which the mind (the builder) is allowed to be controlled, or trained, or directed.
12. So in giving the astrological aspects, know that these are urges - and environs under which these become as experiences for manifestations. For knowledge is power, but knowledge misapplied, knowledge misused, becomes rather deteriorating and detrimental than a helpful experience.
13. Thus there should or must be the ideal, and not merely the idealistic attitude but a CONSISTENCY towards those things of the mental and spiritual aspects of every individual's experience of life.
14. As we find, Jupiter is rather the ruling influence; and without those protective forces and activities the astrological influences under Saturn and Mars would have made for those very experiences in which the material application of environ would have become such a bugbear as to become almost unbearable in the flesh.
15. From the Jupiterian sojourn we find the inclination, the feelings, the activities for great thoughts, great ideals, great movements, great masses of people; and things in which the entity hopes and visions for activity in which many may be influenced by not only that in which the entity may itself be engaged as an activity but by the desire and hope for great movements of different natures or characters as would influence the activity of the masses. These become a part of the entity's hope and desire.
16. In Saturn and Mars, as indicated, we find the many changes, and the influences in which there are wrought many disturbing forces within the body as well as in those relationships that would have to do with either marital or home life. All of these become a part of the entity's experience, and oft the entity's ideals and ideas become rather as disappointments owing to the inability of the entity to direct, control or give expression fully of that which is inclined to be a part of the experience of those about the entity in these particular relationships. However, friendships become a different experience; and the entity is often drawn to those where from the material aspects there would be little to indicate a help or a relationship to bring such a closeness.
1500-3 Page 3
17. Indeed may the entity gain much (if it will analyze self and its ideals) from that as the Teacher gave, "Who indeed is my mother, my brother, my sister? they that do the will of the Father." "They that think alike as I," would be rather the application the entity may make in its own experience.
18. The influences from Venus only become a part of the experience, as we find; yet they make for the beauty and the hope of those things which the entity has experienced and does experience from the innate influence or force from the benevolence of Venus and Jupiter as their relationships are one with another.
19. Yet, as indicated, with the adverse influences from Venus with Saturn AND Mars, these make for wrath, anger, disputations and divisions among many of those influences that are about the body.
20. These give abilities, however, in the artistic influence about the entity; the niceties to which the entity is attracted; the abilities in teaching; the abilities in directing; the abilities to become - as in some sections, some influences, and at specific times or occasions - rather inclined to lead or direct in these.
21. All of these now may be drawn by the entity: Those influences that are for helpful experiences, if the basis of the activities is founded in Creative Forces, are impelled by the spiritual forces known as the fruits of the spirit, - hope, charity, longsuffering, brotherly love, kindness, gentleness. If these are the impelling forces, rather than a point to be gained or the ascending to those influences of affluence by impelling the personal self, then the activities are constructive and helpful in the lives of others.
22. Let the individuality rather of the Christ become the personality of thy own thoughts and life and habits and activities.
23. Hold fast to the faith as thou hast seen and declared in Him!
24. As to the experiences through the activities in the earth, we find few earthly sojourns that are influencing the entity in the immediate present. While these that are given here are not all, they are quite varied and in quite an assorted activity as it might be termed from the position or the conditions in the experience that may be drawn from same; not only astrologically but the influences that have made and do make for urges innate and manifested in the present experience of the entity.
25. Before this we find the entity was in that now known as
1500-3 Page 4
the English land, during those periods when there were many who were drawn into the activities known as the Crusades; when ideals and purposes were as a Cause for such activity or manifestation.
26. Many of those in the environs, and that were left in charge of the activities in the home, became rather those who would attempt to take advantage for selfish purposes and motives and activities.
27. There we find the entity, in those environs, was pulled as it were between the experiences of the heart, the mind and the body; as will as the spiritual relationships.
28. The name then was Angela - or Ann - Cassell.
29. In the experience we find that the entity gained and lost. Yet we find abilities that arise in the present from those activities about the entity in that period, for the entity to combine or group individuals in the various assorted activities as related to the home, the state, as WELL as into those to influence people who become as the future generations.
30. All of these were a part of the entity's experience through that sojourn; and the abilities as a teacher, as a minister, as a director, become as a part of the entity's activities.
31. Yet from those experiences there arises many a questioning of those in authority, whether it be pertaining to things of a political faith, or the church as to its state, or estate, as well as in the home or in club or the like. Questions are ever about the entity as respecting those in authority.
32. The entity, however, is one in whom much authority may be entrusted. Apparently such influences or activities become contradictory, but it is only when the ideals are set as to the sincerity in holding to same that the mind and the body and activities may be coordinated for the experiences of development in this present sojourn or activity.
33. Before that we find the entity was in the Arabian or Persian lands, in the 'city in the hills and the plains,' when there were those Grecian peoples sent in part to undermine or subdue or overcome the experiences by many that were in authority.
34. There we find the entity, coming under the influence of the teacher in those particular experiences, lost faith in the associates who had been directing the Grecian influences.
35. Then when there was the ministering to others, for not only their material health and welfare but for their spiritual enlightenment and enlargement, there came into the
1500-3 Page 5
experience of the entity - as Xenna - great advancement through that sojourn.
36. Beautiful in body, beautiful in its purposes in the latter portion of its experience was the entity. Yet in the present many of those conflicting influences are being met, because of the use of those things in the early portion of its sojourn then, and the desires for the self's OWN interests.
37. In the application of self, know that sincerity must be the keynote. For how has He given? Let thy mind, thy body, thy purposes be ONE in Him - "even as the Father and I are one." Let thy desires, thy hopes, thy aspirations then dwell upon the doing of the little things; just being kind and patient and gentle - that may bring the greater influences into the forces of life itself than all the great pomp and glory of many things that may impress the outward or the mental-mind of the material-minded.
38. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land. There the entity was a princess - a daughter of the young King that had been raised to authority.
39. And, as would be called in the present, the entity - owing to the position and the activities, and the things roundabout - became rather impudent, rather overbearing; until, in the latter portion of its activity, there came the closer associations with and the greater comprehending of the spiritual purposes.
40. Because of the very needs of the body, the very needs of the activities, the entity became closely associated with those who dispensed the things that were for the healing of the body; who prepared those things from the mineral as well as the vegetable kingdom for their influence and application not only as food but as medicinal properties in the experiences of others.
41. Then we find that the entity, Ar-Ar-Sas, became rather as one whom many doubted, yet one whom many called blessed.
42. Again then it may be given the entity, let not thy good be evilspoken of. Let thy words, thy activities, thy thoughts, be coordinant, cooperative one with another; applying self in those directions in which the abilities CREATE, within the minds and the hearts of those ye may direct or teach or guide into those things that bespeak of the relationships of the individual man to Creative Forces or God. And know that these may only be manifested in those things and manners in which the individual applies same in its relationships to those it meets day by day.
43. Then indeed as ye do it unto the least ye meet, ye do it unto thy Maker.
1500-3 Page 6
44. Thus may the experience in the present be Used for not other than, "Peace be unto thee - my peace I leave with thee." THAT embrace. For peace, in body, in mind, in heart, is that which brings contentment; and the encouragement given, and the awareness that "My Spirit beareth witness with thee day by day."
45. Ready for questions.
