Time of Reading 10:30 to 10:45 A.M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1501].
2. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the near or better normal activity of the physical forces of the body.
3. These as we find have to do with the functioning of organs, especially of the lower hepatic circulation - or the kidneys, and the disturbance that is produced in the body and through the circulation by this improper activity.
4. Then, these are conditions as we find them with this body, Mr. [1501] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find that in the circulation there is inclined to be less of the rich red blood than there should be, owing to the activities of the uric acid through the system - that prevents the better coagulation in the activity of energies where there is the necessity for the coagulation in used energies and activities.
6. In this manner or through these disturbances we have at times headaches that are tiring, aggravating; we have fullnesses that appear at times after eating; we have the heaviness across the lower portion of the back; we have disturbances with the bladder and through the prostates.
7. All of these cause disturbances through the circulation, and arise from the improper activity of elimination through the kidney circulation as related to the liver and gall bladder circulation.
8. AS TO THE ACTIVITIES OF THE NERVE FORCES, these become rather the DIRECTING forces, or - as given - the headaches indicated the character or nature of disturbance. Also the pains across the small of the back, the heaviness through the abdomen and through the groin at times - these are pressures upon nerve forces and indicate the character or nature of the disturbances for the system.
9. IN THE DIGESTIVE FORCES AND THE ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as has been indicated, the lower hepatic

circulation or the kidneys we find being the sources, or the natures of the disturbances; the correction of which would make for the nearer normal forces and add to the abilities physically and a whole activity of the system to become near to normal.
10. THEN, IN MAKING APPLICATIONS AS WE FIND FOR THE IMPROVEMENTS OF THIS BODY, Mr. [1501] we are speaking of:
11. First, it will require that there be particular precautions taken as to the diet. This shall be one of the main considerations, if there will be the better applications.
12. DO NOT eat HOG meat of ANY kind! Do not take ANY of the alcoholic-PRODUCING foods, or alcohol in ANY form in the system. These must be a portion of the activities. Do not eat white bread with potatoes or spaghetti. Not that these are not to be eaten at all - that is, the bread, the potatoes and spaghetti - but do not combine any two of these at the same meal together. These should be rather then the diets; in the first, these should be the diets:
13. Mornings - fruit juices or stewed fruits or cereals, but not any of these together; that is, do not have the citrus fruits AND the cereals at the same meal. Here eggs or CRISP bacon (the only hog meat to be taken at ALL) may be taken; with toast or with at times syrup, but not too much syrup - this not more than once a week. Sweets should preferably be honey.
14. At the other meals have rather a well balanced vegetable diet. Meats to be eaten should consist only of fish, fowl or lamb. Not FRIED foods; especially not fried potatoes.
15. Now: We would procure a small bottle of Doan's Kidney Pills. Take only about half of the dosage, however, as indicated on the bottle; that is, instead of once after each meal, take once during the day.
16. And begin with the application of the Radio-Active Appliance to produce a resting during the evenings. Attach same for thirty to sixty minutes each day. The attachments would be in this manner:
17. First day: The first attachment would be to the right wrist, the last attachment to the left ankle.
18. Second day: The first attachment would be to the left wrist, the last attachment to the right ankle.
19. Third day: The first attachment would be to the left ankle, the last attachment to the right wrist.
20. Fourth day: The first attachment would be to the right ankle, the last attachment to the left wrist.
21. Then commence over again, continuing to alternate and circulate the attachments in that manner.

22. After the Pills AND the Appliance have been taken for two to three weeks, then have at least six Osteopathic adjustments made.
23. These would be with special reference to the 4th lumbar, 9th dorsal and throughout the upper dorsal and cervical area - about six.
24. Then in the seventh and eighth treatments or applications, have specific adjustments in the coccyx area; coordinated with adjustments in the vagus center area, or the 1st and 2nd dorsal and in the 3rd cervical.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Is my heart swollen? (A) The heart's activity or disturbance is sympathetic from the kidney disturbance, and with the precautions and the activities as indicated we will find same coming nearer to normal activity.
27. (Q) I have a burning in the bladder. (A) This, as has been indicated, is from the prostate gland condition; and with the clearing by the use of Doan's compound of the Pills, you see, and with the vibrations of the body changed by the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, this will disappear.
28. (Q) The conditions then will be better? (A) The conditions will be relieved and we will find the whole of the abilities of the body physically much improved.
29. (Q) Does this burning lower my vitality? (A) Lowers the vitality by the very stress upon the nervous system. But if the applications and adjustments are made, we will find the great improvement in these conditions. Do that.
30. (Q) What Osteopath would you recommend for these specific adjustments? (A) Ober or Richardson, or any of those who are or may be in sympathy with the conditions as given.
31. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (12/20/37 GD's notes: Extra copy of Osteopathic directions to be taken to: Dr. Vincent H.
