Time of Reading 6:30 to 6:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1502] present in this room.
2. Now as we find, the causes of the disturbances are rather specific; while the reactions indicated in disturbances through the functioning of organs and activities in the physical forces are rather distributed.
3. Thus we have rather a complication, and oft the applications have been for effects rather than for the causes of the disturbances.
4. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, Mr. [1502] we are speaking of, present in this room:
5. In the blood supply we find indications of disturbances through the activity not only of the circulatory forces as related to the heart, the liver, the lungs, but as to the distributing forces - or those centers from which the body receives the new supply; or the hepatic circulation becomes involved in same also.
6. Thus we have a disturbance in the gall duct area, and the lower portion of the stomach's digestive forces - or through the duodenum.
7. As we find, the causes for these disturbances arise from a subluxation in the 6th, 7th and 8th dorsal centers. These have arisen from an external injury in the past. These have affected the nervous system so that there is the involvement to the sympathetic system as related to the functionings of the organs of the sensory system; as also the overtaxation to the lymph circulation through the bronchi and the lungs and the larynx.
8. These chokings in the system, that arise from the cold as indicated in the present, become then rather the contributory conditions. Thus we find with these complications there is the inclination for there to oft be a

little temperature in the body, and thus the body finds that it tires easily from a physical or mental or nervous strain. And the effects become then as slow headaches, pains through the eyes, bearing down through the lower portion of the abdomen, the activity of the kidneys becoming involved in same sympathetically. And the disturbances throughout the system become involved, or are the indications of the organs being disturbed; when the causes as we find arise mainly from the sympathetic condition that exists from the subluxations existing in the areas as indicated.
9. As we find, then, in making corrections for this body: While the corrections must be made in the cerebrospinal system, and these would gradually build back to near normalcy for the body, relieving all of these distresses, there must also be the specific precautions as to the diets during these periods; so that there may be taken in the system those properties to overcome the inclinations and tendencies that exist in the activities of the glandular system as related to digestion, the activities of the hepatic circulation as related the activity of the kidneys, and those as related to the activity between the heart and the liver circulation.
10. These then taken into consideration, with the activities of the diet and the corrections osteopathically of those inclinations and subluxations existent, we would bring much nearer to normal conditions for the body.
11. We find that at least two periods of the treatments osteopathically would be required; twice each week for three weeks, then leave off for two weeks; and then another period of three weeks when the treatments may be gradually gotten farther and farther apart.
12. The specific centers, of course, are in the areas indicated; the lumbar axis, the solar plexus and of course the vagus center and through the cervical must be coordinant with those corrections made.
13. Then in the matter of the diet; these we would beware of, and these we would add specifically to the diet:
14. Beware of all characters of fried foods. Beware of pork in ANY form, though crisp bacon may be taken occasionally. Beware of white bread and potatoes and spaghetti or macaroni, any two of these taken at the same meal. Only one at a meal, just occasionally.
15. We would add to the diet the Jerusalem artichoke. This should be taken at least for one meal each week, or at one meal each week. Preferably take same cooked as potatoes; not cooked too much but sufficiently that they may retain all of the active principles. Hence we would cook them in

their OWN juices, or in Patapar paper. This is to add that stimulation necessary for the activity of the pancreas and the flow of these through the activity to the reduction of those tendencies for the inflammatory conditions to the kidneys and the bladder, and the activity of the lower hepatic circulation.
16. Beware of too much of fats of any nature.
17. Meats - only use fish, fowl or lamb; and these roasted, broiled or the like are better for the body.
18. Do these and as we find we may bring the near to normal conditions for this body - if these are acted upon consistently, persistently.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) Is there anything wrong with my heart? (A) Only the pressures, as indicated. Owing to the pressures in the areas from which the secondary cardiac plexus is affected, there has been the tendency for the filling of the heart, or the inclination for it to EXPAND - and at times the murmur is because of the lack of the releasing of the circulation through the lower portions of the body. These pressures relieved, and the digestive forces set properly, we may overcome these conditions. Keep the eliminations and the activities through the alimentary canal just above normal. Though it may be necessary at times to take enemas, these will relieve those tensions. There is nothing ORGANICALLY wrong with the heart.
21. (Q) Should any laxative be taken? (A) Preferably govern the eliminations by the diet and the colon irrigations or the enemas.
22. (Q) Do I have weak lungs? (A) As indicated, the flow of the circulation has been disturbed. Not necessarily weak lungs. There is the pressure, as indicated, that prevents the full flow from the lungs, the heart, the liver. Hence the rest of the system is also disturbed, but with those pressures removed we will find conditions improving.
23. (Q) How about my blood pressure? (A) This is abnormal, but with the relief of those pressures that cause these disturbances, this will come near to normal.
24. (Q) What makes me feel at times like I am falling? (A) Too much of the flow of the blood in the heart without its emptying to the rest of the system, as indicated.

Do these things. Keep mentally, physically alert. Keep the mental attitudes constructive; and we will find we will bring near to normal forces for this body.
25. We are through for the present.
