Time of Reading 3:30 to 4:05 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.
1. GC: You will have before you the entities present in this room, [1523], born December 2, 1908 in Oceana, Va., and [1650], born December 13, 1900; also the information which has been given them through this channel. In the light of what has been given, what have they to work out individually or together, in the immediate future or in this experience? You will answer the questions they each have submitted, as I ask them:
2. EC: Yes - we have the records of the entities here; [1650] and [1523].
3. In analyzing the experiences of these entities, it is well that there be given that premise from which such might be or is reasoned; that there may be an answering to each from within.
4. For unless that as may be given answers to something within, it can be of little help or value to either of these.
5. Know that each enters the experience into materialization for a purpose. That purpose is that each soul may be aware of its relationship to the Creative Forces - or God. Know that each enters with those activities in which each has lived and manifested, as a part of its natures, as a part of its MENTAL environs.
6. Also know that the meeting, the association, the activity in the material experience in the present is NOT of chance but a purposeful experience for each; and that each may be a helpmeet one to the other in attaining aud gaining such an understanding of the purposes for that meeting, that association, as to ATTAIN the correct concept of the PURPOSE of their incoming or entrance into this material experience.
7. Know that this has not been completed in the present, and thus is to be MET IN EACH!
8. Then why not now?
9. It is a practical, it is a purposeful experience - for each.

10. For the associations in the past experience in the lands about the present environs, or a portion of the same land and those environs about the Dearborn land, are those problems that form the present disturbance in the mental selves.
11. Do not then justify SELF by condemning one another! Justify self rather by living, being that which will be a constructive experience in the life of ONE ANOTHER!
12. For that is the INNATE, that is the real desire, that is the real purpose in each; else there would not have been that attraction one for the other.
13. For, have ye either of you analyzed what real love is?
14. It vaunteth not itself; it thinketh no evil; it endureth ALL things!
15. And this IS the purpose, this IS the basis for that attraction one to another.
16. If material things then are allowed to become barriers, in the manners of expressing this influence, then the condemning of either by the other is condemnation upon SELF - and must be MET in self!
17. Study then to show thyself approved unto GOD! Be forgiving as ye would be forgiven. Remember that it is a partnership; not all to be given nor all to be taken by one. But do not CONDEMN either, ever!
18. Let thy ideals be rather as is shown in HIM, who patterned His experience in the earth among men in such a manner as to answer EVERY question of conduct, of morality, of associations in ANY way and manner!
19. Then when ye are, either of thee in turmoil - NOT one shall do ALL the praying, nor all the "cussing"; but TOGETHER - ASK! and He will give - as He has promised - that assurance of peace, of harmony, that can ONLY come from a coordinated, cooperative effort on the part of souls that seek to be the channels through which His love, His glory may be manifested in the earth!
20. Do not let aught separate thee! Else it will be the destruction of thine own selves through THIS experience! [See 8/7/46 letter, 1523-11, Par. R12.]
21. Rather make thy bodies CHANNELS through which a soul may manifest! and in thy purposes, in thy desires, in thy love of LIFE, ye may SHOW - IN that union - that as would bind thee closer yet to Him.
22. For there is naught else that may bring the understanding, the comprehension of what thy abilities of each may accomplish, as BEING the channels through which a soul - as comes from Him - may accomplish! [See 1523-12 on 3/17/41.]

23. Let, then, thy yeas be yea, thy nays be nay. But keep the way open for thy better selves, for thy love, for thy respect, for thy faith, for thy confidence to expand.
24. Then let each - in thy daily activities - think not on that which satisfies thyself alone, nor yet that which would be indulgence of the other; but rather as to how ye may each become the greater, the better channel for the glory of LIFE, of God, of His gifts, of His promises, of His peace, of His harmonies - that they may manifest in thy cooperation one with another.
25. Ready for questions.
26. (Q) Does the present environment have a destructive or retarding influence on a harmonious relationship and development for us? (A) Let each know that the environment merely sets, as it were, thy purposes on edge. It is then more a matter of choice. And the ENVIRONMENT of each is WELL - if ye will use same CONSTRUCTIVELY and NOT as an EXCUSE for thy weaknesses - either of thee!
27. (Q) Should [1650] continue present employment? Or would a transfer to Richmond be advised? in view of present circumstances? (A) As we find, as we have indicated, it is well to use the present associations as a means for advancement to other fields of activity in the same connections. And if the entity finds self efficient in the promotions for transfer, it is well to be transferred. But if there has not been taken the advantage of the opportunities in the present environ for advancement, then set about to take advantage of same. Though the kind, time or class of association in the present APPEARS to be that not conducive to the best interest, USE same! For know that whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and THUS is oft the environ of ALL His children such that they find themselves not equal to the opportunities given - and, like they of old, bury the talents in those things that become later stumbling blocks!
28. (Q) Should [1523] seek employment to relieve our present financial difficulties? (A) If this is in keeping with the policy or feelings of EACH, well! But forget not that as given; that it is best for each to attempt to make their bodies better channels through which a soul may manifest! If such environs, such activities of employment hinder - in thought, in deed or in fact - BEST to meet the financial difficulties in other manners than taking those chances of deterring the real purposes of this experience!
29. (Q) Should we sell our home? If so, what avenues afford best opportunities for immediate sale?

(A) As we find, if there will be those better conditions created in the mind and in the activities of each for a home BUILDING - and if the opportunity offers itself for change of environment - THEN channels would be OPENED for such sale as to be the most beneficial. Not, then, in the immediate.
30. (Q) What were [1650]'s previous associations with [4428]? [GD's note: Mr. [4428] did not have a personal reading. The case number was given here to preserve his identity.] (A) That entity - [4428] - was the Indian help in the experience just before this. Some of the helps were good, some of them were VERY bad!
31. (Q) Is this association a good influence for [1650]? (A) Rather read just that indicated. Each experience, each meeting is a purposeful one. If any association is allowed to work upon the faults, upon the vanities, upon the material expressions, it is harmful. If it is used to STRENGTHEN the spiritual import OF the life, it is turned to helpfulness! Remember the law - TODAY, NOW, to each soul, there is set before thee good and evil - choose THOU!
32. (Q) What were [1523]'s previous associations with [1277]? [GD's note: Mrs. [1277] had no personal reading. The case number was given to preserve her identity. Mrs. [1523] had recently returned from spending a month in D.C. with Mrs. [1277].] (A) In a portion of the experience just previous to this, as a young activity, they were - as would be proverbially said - "gals together" for a good time. They became enemies - because of those experiences that came about, in those periods when the entity now called [1523] set about those activities to CORRECT the wrongs done. AGAIN we see these are not, then, chance associations - but if they are allowed to bear upon the very influences that are so oft expressed in the things that so easily beset the human experience, they become stumbling stones. But if that which should be, which is the purpose of each soul's giving expression, or being given the OPPORTUNITY of expression - turned to a glory of the Father as manifested in the Son, they may become helpful influences. 33. (Q) Were we - [1523] and [1650] - associated in any other incarnations, than the Dearborn, that might have

brought about our present misunderstanding? (A) More of the misunderstandings arise from that association, that experience. And while there were other associations - as in those periods that have not been given each - WHEN there is the DETERMINING in each, the living in each of that for which ye ENTERED this experience - such may become, as it were, effective in thy experience. Such associations as were between the two in the periods just previous to the French Revolution.
34. (Q) Should [1650] or [1523] change their names? If so, what names would be suggested? (A) They each are significant of that they have to meet in each other. HOLD that thou hast! Let this be rather the determination of each: I WILL KEEP MYSELF IN SUCH AN ATTITUDE, MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY, THAT - COOPERATING WITH THE OTHER - I WILL GIVE THE GREATER MANIFESTATION OF LOVE AND TRUTH AND VIRTUE AND UNDERSTANDING, IN MY DAILY LIFE; THAT OTHERS MAY TAKE COURAGE ALSO.
