Time of Reading 10:45 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia.

1. GC: You will have before you the life existence in the earth plane of [1523], born December 2, 1908, in Oceana, Va., and the earthly existence of this entity as Mae Umbor in the Dearborn period. You will give a biographical life of the entity in that day and plane of earthly existence, from entrance - and how - into the earth's plane, and the entity's departure, giving the development or retarding points in such an existence, as they apply to the present life and associations, and what should be done about same. You will then answer the questions, as I ask them, concerning her present life and associations - from the standpoint of that sojourn.

2. EC: Yes, we are given here the records of this entity, [1523].

3. In giving the interpretations of the records as we find them, something of the conditions as history, as well as the attitudes and plans of developments in that experience, will be necessary in order to indicate the background of the activities as well as the developments, associations and retardments.

4. Know that in analyzing same, and in the application of virtues or vices that may be indicated, the PRESENT is an opportunity for releasing self in every manner from such as might have hindered or may hinder - in Him who is the way, the truth, the light.

5. For, as He has indicated, "If ye love me, keep my commandments," and these are not grievous. And He has also given, even to those who questioned Him, "I condemn thee not; sin no more."

6. In that experience we find the entity was among those peoples who had pushed forward as settlers in the land; and the entity grew up in the frontier home of the father, the mother, among several children.

7. The entity at home or upon the farm, as it would be called, with a general store, met one - a ne'er-do-well, who

1523-11 Page 2

[4930] induced the entity to accompany him to the Dearborn activity.

8. Thus we find the entity, with the companion, at the age of seventeen years, entered into that life as an entertainer, and as one who aided in inducing individuals to spend money - as the travelers as well as those who sought the gaming table, as well as the drinking that was a portion of the activity of the companion there.

9. Then the association with one Bainbridge [294], who became very fond of the entity; and with those activities kept the companionship and association of both Bainbridge and Umbor through the periods of that particular sojourn, - yet also keeping the position as the entertainer, as a waitress, and the activity in the inn there that was known as "You Know" - YOU KNOW!

10. In that experience the entity lost, the entity gained; for the sincerity and the purposes for advancement were a part of the entity's experience. That experience lasted for some three years, and then there were the disturbances from the attacks to the forts by the French and Indians, and those activities which brought about the closing of that frontier; and eventually the destruction of most of the fort there.

11. The entity, with some of its companions - who have been and are a part of the entity's present experience - journeyed towards the South and East; and thus came into what is known as the Tidewater area, and was so known even in those periods.

12. The entity was a companion with Bainbridge at the crossing of the Ohio, though the entity succeeded in escaping - through the efforts of Bainbridge, who lost his life there. [9/15/42 See 2778-2, Par 20, 21, indicating [2778] was a neglected child of [1523] and [4930] in that period and that [1523] in the present could learn consistency by administering to the needs of [2778], now a polio victim. 3/9/43 See 2778-4 giving more details.]

13. That changed the activities, the attitudes of the entity in EVERY way and manner; and as it came into those activities of the colonizations about what is now Williamsburg, Jamestown, Norfolk and Yorktown, the entity became rather as one to whom many came for counsel and advice.

14. The entity entered into a life of HELPFULNESS to all. Wherever there were needs for the assistance to the sick, to those distressed, to those in a disturbance of most any

1523-11 Page 3

nature, the entity entered with those activities in which there became the endearment of the entity to those peoples of the entire section - until the entity became known as the angel to those in need, no matter what their station or place might be.

15. The entity resided in that section through the remaining periods of its sojourn in that earthly experience.

16. As to the periods of development, of advancement, of retardments - these might make questions, if judged from some standards, as they did through those periods in the minds and activities of many. Yet the period was one from which, because of the highly emotional natures, there come the present problems as well as virtues.

17. Also the abilities as a helper in the tavern or restaurant, as called today, arise from those urges latent and manifested; as well as the abilities in entertaining, - not only in song but in conversation. For, it may be noted by others - and not so much by the entity - that in any throng or group, when the entity speaks others listen.

18. These offer opportunities - they also bring responsibilities that are to be applied - as has been indicated in those channels and directions to use that which has been gained, not only through the experiences in the Dearborn and Tidewater area but that may be a part of the present experience.

19. In the latter portion of that sojourn the entity became the companion and the helper to many; and those in the own home in the present, in the own household, were of the friends as well as the enemies.

20. These will be met, must be met - not in the turmoils of that period, but rather in the awareness of those promises which are in Him who is the Giver of all good and perfect gifts.

21. Then, let the knowledge and the understanding of that experience become not as an excuse, but as something that may be used as a stepping-stone for the aiding and the comfort of many who will and do come under the activities of the entity in this present experience.

22. The entity lived then to be only forty-eight - when the disturbing forces by raids from the warring forces cut or brought that experience to a close.

23. In the present, the - these also may bring hopefulness for a life - as then - well lived; though in those experiences exciting to the mental abilities. Hence no wonder the entity in the present has lived, does live, an exciting experience!

24. Ready for questions.

1523-11 Page 4

25. (Q) Regarding the period of disturbance indicated astrologically for 1940 and 1941, because of changes thru associations in the material plane - please explain just what this refers to, and if it is still indicated, how may I best prepare myself for it and meet it correctly? (A) As we find, as indicated - preparations have been made. There are not the indications that this will be any great change, for the immediate. It will be rather an outcome, or an outgrowth, of the manner in which the entity has met and does meet the problems that arise. To give as to what such would be, would not be in keeping with the entity using self's OWN will, self's own choice or judgement. [See 1523-13, Par. 27-A.]

26. (Q) Have I met or been associated in the present with the companion who fled with me from Dearborn, and thru whom I lost much in material things? (A) As indicated, through the associations with Bainbridge there were activities in which loss materially, physically, came to the entity, yet those in which help also came in the end. In the present from those associations and activities there are to be the close associations, but as of a helpfulness one to the other. Is there any wonder, then, that there has been, and is, not only a physical but a mental and material attraction between them? For, the life, the opportunity was granted by that companion, who had caused so much disturbance.

27. (Q) What are the urges from Dearborn in relation to [1650], my present husband, and how can I best use them for our mutual development? (A) That was a period of association, we find, in which the present husband, [1650], then came to the entity for counsel, for help; and in which physical nursing of the entity gave the body, [1523] the opportunity then for encouraging and making the associations and activities through the rest of that experience as a helpful influence to both. In the present it will be found that each - EACH - will depend, and rely, upon the other; and that EVER the question is as to the sincerity of each. Then, the manners of application are again in order with those criterions which have been indicated above.

28. (Q) What has been the past association with my sister, [1548], that has brought about the apparent antagonistic attitude toward one another? Just how should I meet this situation for our mutual development? (A) In that experience we find that in the Tidewater area they were antagonists for the companionship of the present husband. Not that the entity took the husband away from the sister, but because of their associations, because of their companionship, because of the willingness to bring encouragement and to nurse the entity back to life, there came first that of jealousy, then suspicion and then hate. Thus, as indicated in the present experience of each, they are each suspicious of the other - more than hating or misjudging the other. Don't be suspicious of others, if you would not have others suspicious of thee! This is that to be applied in the experience in that association. Sow seeds of confidence, even though they are trampled upon. But don't sow them and expect them to be trampled upon! Be hurt whenever they are, yes - but do it again and again! Was He not buffeted for thee? Are ye not in association and companionship with thy sister, then, that ye may - as He - give and give again of those hopes, of those helps, of those confidences, of that love which bringeth harmony and peace to all? [See 1548-6, Par. R11 indicating the karma is being worked out between [1523] and her sister.]

29. (Q) Regarding the following individuals - please tell me, as I call their names, just what definite steps I can take to help them get a better understanding of their present difficulties? First: [934]? (A) These might not be indicated from here, only as to self's association WITH the entity. As to the problems of [934] they are her own. But the entity, [934], was among the girls to whom Bainbridge paid court, and brought disturbances into the experience of the entity through same - yet these were never justified in the activities that were brought about. Hence the counsel in the present is to rely upon truth, honesty, sincerity, AND the love in the hope of the Master.

30. (Q) Second, my brother, [4930]? (A) The brother was then that companion who first brought

1523-11 Page 6

the entity to the Dearborn experience. Hence an antagonism in the present that is a loving antagonism, not always understood. Hence the needs of counsel oft, and do not fear at being questioned as to why ye would or do counsel!

31. (Q) Third, [[1277] and Husband]? (A) We do not find them associated in that sojourn, save as afar off. [GD's note: This is evidently referring to [1277]'s husband, since 1523-6, Par. 32-A indicated an association of [1523] with [1277] in the Dearborn period.]

32. (Q) What has been my past association with [4732] and husband, and what can I do to meet the situation for our mutual development in the present? (A) We find that there were associations in the latter portion of the experience; first, very close in the associations with each, for they were companions then. Then, because of questionings and of tales oft told (untrue) there were brought separations, and animosities, and judgements. Hence in the present, judge not harshly - even though they may say or do things that are unbecoming to thine own way of thought or purpose. [See 1523-11, Par. R7.]
